Truth to be told I'm not overly happy with the new buttons either. Anyone not very much into LBT (or not reading this thread) might not recognize them as treestars for lack of structure. I created two sets of treestar buttons. What do you think, might these work out better?

I'm not fond of these buttons either.
What can I say? Maybe we should create some new, as Austin claimed.
It wouldn't be so much of a fuzz? :)

EDIT: Didn't see yours Malte, net is running low today.
They look quite the okay, except for the yellow. I do not fancy yellow.

Are you referring to the ones currently in use or the drafts in the message preceding yours?

Actually Austin's treestar image thing will probably do the best.  I just glanced at this and realized it looked pretty good.

He means the ones you posted.
No he didn't. He edited his post. Except for the yellow script he seems to be okay with them (used the yellow as it was in the existing buttons and as it stands out from the green and the dark background without making too sharp or "non-organic looking" a contrast).
I agree that Austin's treestar would look fine as a button. Do we have an image of just the treestar without any script on it, so it can be resized and provided with the right inscription?

I would belive he has it lying around somewhere.
It looks nice indeed, but it's pretty small.
But maybe the orginal is larger?

I don't have the treestar by itself.  I'll get a PM to Austin about it.

Thanks for the compliments guys.  It wasn't too hard.  It was harder to set the time aside than it was to actually make them.  99% of my photoshop projects take less than an hour to complete unless they're full screen backgrounds or images. :)

Yeah.  It didn't look good enough for captioning in the original image, but when cut out it certainly works well for captioning. :lol  :D
