LBT Projects / My LBT Site Officially Shutting Down
« on: March 04, 2015, 02:00:14 PM »
Late Response and sort of unrelated:

I miss your old YouTube channel, too, and really liked your site as a memorabilia from your channel.  I also remember Dukect giving you a shoutout xD.  Wish you could keep it up, but thanks for having it available for everyone.

General Land Before Time / Name the parents
« on: March 04, 2015, 01:49:19 PM »
I actually like the names being hidden from the audience.  Leaves more the imagination, and generally, I prefer such.  However, since no more LBT movies will be created, a little more closure for the names would do wonders.

As per Spikes's mom and dad, I've never seen them, and therefore could not make an assertion of what their names could be. It's quite easy to guess their names based on personality and looks...that's usually how some characters from animations get their names.

Kiefer Sutherland...one of the best actours that got to do the Land Before Time other than Kenneth Mars.

1988 Theatrical Release / "LAND BEFORE TIME - 35MM FILM TRAILER" on ebay

I probably have no need for it, other than having it as a collectible.  I am quite curious as to the Trailer vs Full movie problem.  I've sent this person a private message regarding this and to question its legitimacy.

General Land Before Time / Which voice for Cera do you prefer ? (redo)
« on: November 11, 2014, 08:53:48 AM »
I like both, so this was a hard decision.  I chose Anndi McAfee, simply because her singing voice was superb over Hutson.  Hutson had a very high voice, which you can that Cera was at a young age.  This was something I found to be be quite great to hear.  As she change actress, her mood would change, too, since she would be much older.  So, both actresses filled the spot as she progressed through life fairly well.  However, in terms of singing, definitely McAfee has more experience in that part, and pulled off the sing-a-longs so well.

General Land Before Time / Screenshots of most beautiful LBT moments
« on: October 30, 2014, 12:38:23 PM »
I've noticed most of the good screenshots came when it was the first and last movies.  Apparently, the scenery was well drawn in the first, and during the last ones, the scenery became more...realistic?...not the right word, but synonymous.

Land Before Time Captions / Mama Swimmer is mad at Spike

Mama: If I've told you once, I've told you many times...you're too big to do anything that involves strenuous physicality.  Shame Shame Shame.

*and from that day forward...Spike needed to lose weight.  The first day, he tried and pushed to exercise to his however much he could do...then he saw a Tree Star...and that was all over*

The End

The Fridge / Comet to Closely Pass Mars
« on: June 21, 2014, 10:42:03 AM »
So if it does interact could it have a giant altercation?  I don't think of much of a significant change to mars would occur if something like that did happen, but you never know...

I wonder if we could view it from where we stand?

General Land Before Time / An interesting idea on LBT 11
« on: June 21, 2014, 10:28:56 AM »
You could literally compare this to LBT 6 with the Long Stranger...the plot may have been different to that actual story, itself, but the concept of having a copy off story to use in the Land Before Time is still present.  I guess LBT 11 just was another one of those things where they were running out of ideas and needed another plot to keep continuing.  Or, that was merely coincidental.  Either way, it's not uncommon.

General Land Before Time / Which kind of animation do you prefer?
« on: March 06, 2014, 08:27:15 AM »
I think it pretty much depends what you prefer to spend.  There are ups and downs to both Cell art and Digital art.  First being, it takes longer for Cell Art to work, because each character is drawn individually.  Plus, the background is constant and there are times where it doesn't actually complement the foreground of the characters.

In the same manner, digital ink is pretty much bright, vivid, and less detailed, in terms of the movies themselves, which isn't that great.  However, it is cheaper and quick to do, so it can help get sequels out in a short time's notice.

IMO, it's pretty much Cell Art for me, though, solely due to the fact it just looks nicer and more distinguished.
