discuss: the return of the egg stealers

hi guys! i saw something on wikipedia: the return of the egg stealers. a new episode planned for januari 18 2008.

That should be interesting, I wonder what I'll be like. I guess everyone from the movies will appear in the tv series sooner or later.

Again, I have my doubts on the credability of the existance of that episode. The songs are ripped straight from "The Forbidden Friendship," and the description is clichÈd and vague, plus, it is unsourced. The only ways for a description for an episode that's going to be aired in the future can appear is if either the information was picked off at another website (unlikely, since that site was never sourced) or other source of information that gave information on the episode beforehand, or one of the creators or members of the Universal staff decided to reveal it.

well, now we know it was just a rumor, because it is now january 22.

i am pretty sure the episode is still in development, but it will most likely exist in the hopefully near future.

EDIT: completely scratch my post. apparently, this episode does exist as it aired in Canada on January 5th.

I wonder if this whole "Return of the Egg Stealers" started as someone getting the name of "The Great Egg Adventure" wrong...

It could have. Maybe that was it's original working title before they changed it. Or it could have been a planned episode but kept being delayed till it was pushed off of the season 1 schedule.

if this is an epsoid i wonder how the egg stealers got away from Chomper's parents from The Land Before Time 2? my gusse is that when Chomper went to catch up with his parents he called to them and distracted them for a moment and got their attention and they stoped chasing Ozzie and Strut or Chomper's parents got tired of chasing them and gave up or realized they left Chomper and went back to look for him. Im still waiting to see this epsoid too mabie it will explain this or what happned to them.

It's a fact. No episode titled "The return of the egg stealers" exists. It doesn't change the fact that it may be an interesting story idea. With special regard to the fact that Ruby is practically a relative of them (Oviraptor means Eggstealer though recent paleontological research has shown that they probably weren't eggstealers at all).

Maybe they were omnivores. I read where some think the Troodon may have been that instead of a carnivore. Hard to tell the full diet of a creature from fossils, especially if their not all compete and they only have some teeth or partial jaws.

This just goes to show that you can never really trust wikipedia if it isn't cited. I was so excited when I heard this episode was in the works, but then I realized it was nothing more than a rumored idea.
