"Just fine Bill. Just gotta get some repairs on my left wing, that'd all." Will answered, turning the craft down, but returning when he remembered he didn't have permission to land. "How've you been? Too much work at... where were you, by the way? Can't remember the Lylat system right now... hit my head..."

Bill chuckled as he replied, "Oh my base and home planet of Katina. Do you need the medical corps. Will? That bump might be serious."

Jason sighed as he popped the canopy on his fighter and jumped out. He was quickly embraced by a hug, followed by a noogie from his father.

"Don't worry. It wasn't too heavy... just hit the seat too hardly, that's all... By the way, did wepass the test, or are we suspended to make another one?" Will asked, landing the Airwing, indepenantly of the orders. There was a captain on the ground: it should be reason to land.

"Yeah, you passed. After all, you managed to score some pretty good hits on me."
He said, landing the Seraph and dropping out of the cockpit.
"Commander Grey. What brings you out here?"
He said, snapping a salute...

Bill snapped a salute right back to Adrian as he replied.
"Well I was called here in place of Fox McCloud who couldn't be here today. And to see my son of course. Its not everyday he passes his Academy flight exams."

Jason couldn't help but smile now. He had passed his exams and his fater had seen it all. He then cracked another smile as he asked...
"So when are the awards ceremonies, I want my certificate and medal showing I passed!"

Adrian smirked, as he grinned at his Former Trainer, then turned towards Jason,
"Geeze, impatient, aren't you?"

"Awesome! We passed!" Will celebrated, putting a hand on the Airwing.
Hw walked up to Jason, and took off the jacket.
"Huh, Jason... whadda'ya think we also form a small team around the corners here? We could be a great team, with some practice!" Will suggested, putting the jacket around the shoulder. "And... we could get other members in, too."

Jason smiled and replied to Adrian...
"Yep. Sure am! Wouldn't have it any other way either!" Then he turned to face Will, and said, "Are you serious...us form a team...like StarFox?" After another few seconds he gave a wide grin and laughed.
"That would be awesome!" he said with enthusiasm.

Bill however just laughed as well as he said to Adrian, "Actually the reason Fox isn't here, is he's off on patrol near Sector Y, we've been getting strange reports of a secret base begin built." He then smiled at Jason's reaction to Will's idea and said to all three of them,
"Actually that's the second part of why I'm here. I was given orders by General Peppy to recruit another new combat team for the Cornairian Air Defense Force. And it looks like you three are it...with me as your new leader!"

Joven heard everything as he landed his craft with the others. Recruited? Straight out of the final exams? This is awkward, considering the dents and scrapes the other students got from the 'friendly' dogfight. However, pushing that aside for courtesy, he rejoined the others and gave a salute to Bill. "It's an honor to meet you, Sir. There's no one in my family that has not known of your accomplishments with Star Fox."

He said, saluting again...

Jason scoffed.
"I don't think I have the guts to refuse a direct command from my father. So yeah....I'm in..all the way!"

Bill laughed and said, "Yes boys, you're sips are still yours to keep and watch over...although...after that little training session of yours...you may want to get them checked up and serviced."

Jason smiled and said, "Only after you buy us all lunch dad."

Bill smiled and replied, "Deal."

He said, grabbing his jacket from the hanger on the wire lift of the Seraph...

"Thanks Adrian. You're a helluva pilot yourself. You should be proud of your skills and the quick thinking you showed when my son's fighter stalled on him."

Jason laughed and said, "Ya know my fighter wouldn't have failed if Adrian had missed that vital shot next to my canopy."

Joven kept his mouth quiet while the other new pilots were 'rough housing.' He seemed rather dissatisfied with his own results in the exam. He turned to Adrian as the commander grabbed his jacket. "Sir, with your permission I wish to re-take the final exam."
