Because I figure we might as well explore some more' Ilsa replied ' Sincce no sunlight gets in here, we cant tell nighttime from daytime. so i figure its close to sunrise , and we have more of the temple to explore " she added.

Lura rolled her eyes, stretching. She went over to Jake and Isla's side, throwing some debris at him to wake the human up. Jake instantly alert having transformed the top panel of his arm into a blade.

"Calm down fool." she told him, annoyed

"Ah... just you" he said, returning the arm to normal, pulling his shirt and jacket back on.

"Your friends wish to explore the temple." said Lura

"Really, why?" he asked

Lura just shrugged, thinking it was pointless to explore when they could be walking in the cool temperature to reach a city faster.

Unknown to the whole group, an entity was observing- keeping a close watch on them all.

We should get going you two ' Minna said casting a fresh light spell so they all coulfd see in front of them and avoid any traps or opening in front of them.

Walking over to Minna and Isla, Jake as well as Lura followed behind the two mages. Jake transformed his arm again and Lura took out her daggers. Both doing so encase magical spirits such as golems or elementals remained.

minna and Ilsa gripped on thier staffs as they walked down the hallway. here and there opening revealed other rooms and but many of them were filled with debris.

Up ahead, there was the sound of metal scraping along the stone walls. "Wait here." commanded Jake, walking ahead with his weapon ready, glancing around the corner, spotting the last bit of a shadow as it turned another corner. "We're not alone" he said to the others

Figures this place would be haunted' Minna shrugged as her claws glowed as she summoned a fireball. ' Almost all ruins have something in them.

The sound of scraping stopped, resuming again it sounded like the creature was coming back. The light and sound attracted it to the party of four. "Guess we'll find out sooner than later" commented Lura, switching to her bow for long range attacks.

well lets see what this thing is ' Minna said making her fireballs grow in size. ilsas staff glowed blue as she prepared to unleashed a flurry of ice attacks.

Walking around the corner was an Iron Golem. A large humanoid rock like formation built using dark magical energy intertwined with Iron Ore, giving it life. "This is useless" said Lura with distaste, switching to her daggers, knowing the magic in them would help greatly. "Well, better to attack now than later" grinned Jake, sliding his mask down and sprinting at it, dodging under its first swing to attack the legs.

it takes as very high temperature to melt iron ' Ilsa said as she switched to fireballs as she and minna threw fireballs at the Golem, making sure not to jhit Jake.

The golem slammed its fist into the ground, causing the bricks int the floor to fly up, Jake flying into the wall nearby getting a fracture. Grunting, he got back up and joined in, using his alchemy to try and blow holes into the rock. Lura defending him by slashing at it.

the girlss dove aside as parts of the floor were tossed at them. ilsa was able to deflect the pieces away from her, asnd the girls rejoined the fray.

As Jake fought, his fracture was only getting worse. The fact he hadn't consumed the special medicine he required didn't help. Coughing up blood Jake leaned against the wall, lifting his mask to wipe it away. Worried, Lura increased the intensity of her fighting, making faster slashes at the exposed magical links holding the golem together.

minna and ilsa forcused on the exposed part of the golem and began having an impact on it. the magic holding together began to weaken..

As they fought, the golem slowly began to deteriorate. "Almost there" announced Lura, severing the link completely for one of the legs, making it fall over. Jake shattering the other leg with his alchemy. "You two take out the rest" he told them

the draconesses took a couple minutes to decimate the rest of the golem whicvch shattered into dozens of pieces and which was strewn all over the hallway.

"Let's just hope that thing was the last" said Jake, coughing he was forced to his knees as blood spattered the inside of his mask and onto the floor. Horrified, Lura rushed to his aid, assisting him with drinking his medicine.
