Our privacy's been gone since the Bush Administration. I don't see what possible privacies are even left to protect.

This backdoor could still make things even worse, by weakening encryptions.

This bill does not deal with Internet rights or usage, but rather with encryption within Australia. presumably it would make it easier for police to get access to someones phone, and password if the person is accused of a crime. We already have laws covering this on the Books here, so I doubt the Us will be copying Australia if this passes.
