Sure! Post up any recordings you make, if you like, or send them to me using any method of your choice. I'm taking new recordings all the way up to the 22nd of June.

Stitch: Did you just send me a recording over yousendit entitled "Best Of Friends"? (By the way, I want to thank whoever that was who sent that. This is the first recording I've received from Anyone that had virtually NO background noise! You just made my life a lot easier, thank you. B) )

Hmm, maybe I should ask everyone to put their name on their recording's file so I can tell who is who! This group is seriously getting large LOL!

Action9000: I hope you will look back on your origional posting cuz I think I'v posted about 12 different recordings back there and I have no idea which one's best. You'll have to decide that for me.

I won't know that for sure until I put the recordings to music and work with them in detail. It it too difficult to determine which recording will sound the best when put to music, without putting it to music. I did not intend to start putting voices to music until I knew I had everyone's recordings, which is why I set a deadline. I will put everyone's voices in once I have everyone's recordings.

If you would like me to find out for you which one is best, I will need some time to go through them all and check various parts. I tend to combine recordings actually, using the best parts from each, based on which sections of the song I end up giving each singer (which is usually based on which singer handled which part of the song the best, unless somebody specifically requests a specific part of the song). It's a fairly complex process so I don't know the answer for you at this point.

I didn't expect answers now, I just wanted to make sure you didn't just take one of my recordings and assume that it was my only one, if you thought it was not that good. I just want to give you as much as possible to work with. I will sing almost daily because sometimes I'm better on some days than on other days. I just want it to be as good as possible, and the more recordings I make, the better they will get as I gain experience (At least I hope so!)

I've only listened to 2 of them so far but:
The singing is generally very good. The problem I'm seeing with the karaoke machine is the amount of mid-bass frequency BUZZing that happens whenever you sing a note. What is causing that, the karaoke microphone? It's a bit odd.
I'm not asking you edit it out of the recording; I don't think that will anyway, since its on a fairly important frequency. Cutting it out would really distort you.

I have no idea. The kareoke machine has so many buttons and knobs and I really don't know how to work it. To give you an idea of how advanced it is - it has a color touch screen.

What do you suggest I do Action9000?

Will do! I'll record a couple more tomarrow. I can't do it tonight though. It's too cold to go out to the RV. My teeth chatter and it gets into the recording.
