In the middle of nowhere sat a house, hidden from those that passed by with magic, those unfortunate enough to be locked inside to rarely be heard from again. Today, new arrivals have been put in place.
Groaning, Jeremy began to wake- rolling onto his back blinking as his eyes adjusted to his surroundings. "What the?" he said confused, sitting up then standing. "Where am I?". Glancing around, he spotted his friend Veyu, running over to her he woke her up. "Where are we Jeremy?" she demanded with annoyance, glancing around at the unfamiliar surroundings.
"I.. don't know..." he said truthfully with a sigh "But- there may be others around"
"Perhaps." she replied, getting up and leaving with him to search.
Not far from them was a cyborg, wandering the house trying to understand what happened and why it was here. Another menace had also woken, rage filling his veins at the thought of being captured and moved.

Sue walked around the house with a frown on her face. She was used walking down strange corridors every single day in her own home-- she, in fact, didn't even know what her own home looked like. Still, even though she couldn't form a mental picture of her house, consistently retreading her home over and over again let her navigate room to room by sheer muscle memory. Four steps forward into the door way, the square thing in the middle of the room is a table and the thing to your left is a hat rack, the hallway farthest from the table leads down to the bathroom, ecetera ecetera. The point was, she never had to worry about getting lost in her own house.
"What is this place?" she asked aloud. "The walls looks like they're a slightly different color, and the proportions of everything is all wrong... I didn't walk into someone else's home again, did I?"
She stopped, pattering a feet against the floor while pursing her lips to the left of her snout.
"... Yep. This doesn't smell like my home, the way my voice bounces off the walls doesn't sound like my home, and the floor doesn't feel like my home. Great."

The cyborg eventually stumbled upon sue "Hello" he greeted, his blue eyes shining brightly as he glanced around

Sue jumped in mid step at the voice, and winced harshly.
"I am so sorry for walking into your home, sir," she pleaded, turning into the direction of the voice and making an apologetic gesture with her hands.
"I-I must have gotten turned around on my way home. It was an accident-- if you could just lead me to the door, I'll leave immediately."
The voice of the person who was talking to her didn't sound familiar. It definitely wasn't one of her neighbors-- who was it? She could pick out blue eyes, and what looked like some sort of weird grey tattoo covering his skin. 'Oh boy-- I guess I REALLY got lost this time. I might actually have to call someone to pick me up.'

"I do not have a home, I am confused as to why I am here" he replied- focusing on her again "Are you confused as well?"

a portal opened sending a pair of draconesses to the ground.. ' ah... what happened/' Ilsa, the eklder of the two said slowly getting to her feet.. ' last time i try opening a catacomb with magic ' Minna muttered ' where the heck are we?' she asked as the pair looked around at the long hallway

Turning around, Dokueki spotted the two women. Raising his hand accusingly at them he spoke lowly "Why am I here."

Sue paused for a moment. "More so by the minute," she stated, tilting her head.
"Uh... I'm Sue. I was just walking home from an interview I had over at the prison and I... well..."
She put a hand to her head and combed the through the feathers on her head, wondering just what exactly did happen to lead her here. She remembered walking through the door of her home (she had painted it purple to make sure she'd always know it was her door) and that was it. Nothing special. She closed the door and founder herself in this strange place.
She shrugged. "I honestly don't have a single clue what happened to me. I can't tell places apart very well, you see. It's a long story."
'If this isn't someone's home,' she thought, 'Then who is this person? I feel afraid for some reason-- not the immediate kind, but the dread kind. What about the way he looks is making me feel this way?'

"Adding you to my data base for reference" he replied "I am known as Kiryu, I also have no idea how I got here, I recall being brought in for maintenance then reactivating here."

'Is he making fun of me, or is he a paranoid schizophrenic?' she thought to herself as a bead of nervous sweat formed at her brow. The possible danger of being alone in a place she didn't know with this man she didn't know was becoming more and more apparent.
She took a step away from the man, looking at the vauge shape that made up his form.
"Really, Kiryu? What data would you need to reference about me? If you need information about me, I'll tell you what you want to know."
This was a weird situation, but the fear she was fee;ling from just looking at this man was real enough. She was prepared to brandish her claws if he suddenly became aggressive, but having worked with mentally ill people most of her life, she knew, for the moment, the best she could do was win this person's trust.

"Identification is all that is needed" he informed her, making no moves to make her distrust him

Don't ask us, we dont know either' minna said as she gazed around at the hallway. there were several closed doors, candles flickering in scones, and a slightly creepy vibe to the place ' is anyone else here? ilsa asked,.

Sue's eyes flickered to the left as she swore she heard a voice from far away ask something. Good-- there were other people here. She turned her gaze back to Kiryu and nodded.
"My eyesight isn't very good, Kiryu" Sue half lied, "Could you mind telling me what you are? I see blue eyes and a grey tattoo, but that's all I can make out."
The feeling of fear still wouldn't go away. One of the great many wonders about her condition was that she did still react emotionally to things she saw, even if she had absolutely no idea what she was looking at. When she saw spiders or sharpteeth, she usually had to identify them by the exact kind of fear she was feeling (skittish revulsion for spiders and fear for her life for Sharpteeth) and specific characteristics to infer what she was looking at and why she felt afraid of it. But the sensation she had was very specific with Kiryu-- it was the sensation that occurred when looking at something that was abnormal in some elemental way, and she couldn't tell what.

minna opened a door to reveal sue and kiryu. " good we're not the only ones here' Ilsa said ' hi i'm Ilsa and this is Minna. We're dracons of noble birth and of some magical ability. we.. dont know where we are or what this place is. do you guys have any idea?'

"I am MechaGodzilla 3, a cybernetic reconstruction of Godzilla to combat new incarnations of Godzilla for the Global Defense force" Kiryu replied, not knowing the limits of Sue's knowledge

Dokueki followed the women, spotting a two beings talking with one another. Kiryu turned around when they entered "Hello" he greeted, listening to them explain they also didn't know what was going on. "It would seem all of us are suffering corrupted memory"

memory? How can we have memory of a place we haven't been before? Minna said ' we've never been here before , and apparently none of you have either...

Sue heard the woman say something about 'magic' and she turned her head with a raised eyebrow.
'God, what'd I'd give to recognize facial expressions right now.'
She wasn't a total nonbeliver in magic. She preferred scientific (or at the very least philosophical) explanation to the things of the world, but she was prepared to believe in magic if there was clear enough proof presented to her.
Kiryu, however, stated what he was, and Sue suddenly remembered one of her friends telling her about a millennial Godzilla film with a character named Kiryu. Sue blinked, not knowing what to say. What eventually came out of her mouth was:
"I'm not sure where we are, and Kiryu says he doesn't either. If you people are who you say you are, we could be anywhere-- I mean, there's no limits where magic can take someone right?"
The other three that walked in appeared to all be dinosaurs of some kind. 'High born?' ran through her mind, 'Magic? Godzilla? Am I dreaming this?'
"I'm useless finding my way around here, but one of you said you know magic? Could you possibly have some sort of... I don't know, teleportation spell, or a spell that can blow a hole in a wall?"

Jeremy and Veyu mind blanked when they walked in, surprised at how many people there were, as well as the confusing conversation. Dokueki growled with frustration, smashing a statue "Forget this talk, I shall leave this place." walking away, he tried smashing a hole into the building, receiving a powerful shock in response.

Sue saw one of the living figures suddenly thrust towards one of the walls, only to be thrown back with a powerful, unnatural sounding shockwave in its wake.
Sue blinked. "Okay, I guess that rules brute force out... Maybe we can wander around and make a map? Solve it like a maze? I met a man who claimed to have a real life Algernon. Could solve any maze faster than a man could, and electrode signals they got out of him showed that he did it by simply creating a mental maze in his head, and then solving it."
She looked over to Kiryu, blinking again for a moment, and then sighed, walking over to him. "Please excuse me, Kiryu," she said, holding up her hand. "There's only one way I can keep telling myself that I'm not dreaming and I'm not delusional." She lay her hand down on Kiryu's arm. What her eye's couldn't see, her hands could-- it was the mistakeable feeling of metal.
'What is going on here?'

brute force isnt going to get us out of here' Ilsa said ' as for teleporting, we;d have to know where we are in relation to our home world for it to work. since we dont know that, it wont work.

Kiryu allowed her to do so, registering her as a minimal threat. "What do you mean?" he asked, unsure of the question. Dokueki got up, shaking his head, not attacking the wall again.
"I would suppose, we create this 'map'" said Dokueki, glancing over to Sue and Kiryu

Sue smiled to Kiryu, taking 'what do you mean' as 'why did you touch me'.
"My hands don't have visual agnosia," she said gentley. "They know what they feel."
Sue looked over to the larger dinosaur looking man and nodded. "If we can't teleport and we can't force our way out, I don't see what other choice we have."
She wished she could run her hands over everyone's faces to know exactly what they looked like, but she knew better than to ask. She gave a thankful nod to Kiryu and turned to the others.

Just as the others finished talking, a pair of odd portals shimmered into existance. From the first one, a set of three anthropomorphic foxes stepped out, blinking and looking around. As the first one looked at the group, one of them, a female in a black jacket, let out a happy squeaking noise and hugged Minna.
"Minna, yay! We managed to find you!"
She giggled happily. As the second portal closed, it seemed that nothing had come through, instead leaving only a skull and a suit of armor. However, seconds later, the armor moved, floating up and assembling into a humanoid shape and glancing around...

Kiryu analyzed each of them, registering them as minimal to average threats. A loud booming and distorted voice could be heard moments later. "My dear guests, I'm sorry for these circumstances, but an old geezer needs some entertainment every now and again. As such, I have rooms set up that you shall be sharing with each other. Trying to avoid the arrangements will result in.... unpleasant things."

Sue's eyes widened. "Okay, now where is that voice coming from?" She uttered. In her life, filled with distorted images that didn't make any sense and strange faces that were impossible to remember, she couldn't remember ever being quite this confused.

Utena! By the gods! What are you doing here? Minna said, surprised by her friends appearance. 'hello Utena. I'm guessing Juri isnt far away, as shes basically your best friend.. Ilsa said.
_ the strange voice caught her attention. ' lets just hope this isnt like the 10 priests who got knocked off one by one..

The voice began listing names "Jeremy, you are with Isla. Veyu, you are with Sue. Kiryu, you are with Minna."
(Once starfall tells me who he wants with his characters i'll add them to the list here)

The armor glanced at the speaker.
"I take it that changing rooms is likely out of the question?"
It asked softly as Utena nuzzled up to Minna.
"Yep. She and Akito came with to find you!"
Juri chuckled, walking over to Ilsa.
"Yeah. And now we're stuck here."
She added...

"Claire, you shall share a room with Drago, the living armor. Akito, you will be with Red, his name shall be obvious as to who he is.". "Dokueki, you get to be with Juri and finally- BlackWarGreymon is with Utena" finished the voice, fading away into nothing- a sound of blocks being placed as rooms formed nearby

Sue frowned, looking up angrily at the ceiling. "I don't remember signing up for the Truman Show. Who are you? Where are we?"

The armor glanced around again, the skull's eye sockets glowing faintly.
"Hm. It would appear we are in a place removed from space and time entirely. At least...that would explain the vast discrepancies I see before me."
It observed...

Kiryu nodded in response, appreciating that there was a being similar to himself that could notice the differences. "I'm off to the room." stated Dokueki, uncaring as he wandered off. The others doing the same.

Sue spun around, looking absurdly as everyone was walking away.
"Hold on, hold on. We're in a completely unknown location against our will by some guy that we've never met, and we're just gonna shrug and do what he says?"
It was more than that, though. She knew in some way she was being a bit petulant, but the fact was that she was afraid. She felt very alone being away from her family and friends-- people who she knew so well that she could actually recognize their faces. Right now it felt like she was in a sea of distorted shapes and strange voices, deliberately being kept away from the people in her life that acted as her anchor.

Kiryu spoke to her "For now, we do not have the option of choice"

we better go find our rooms' Ilsa said to Minna.

Jeremy pointed at Isla "You, our room is here"
Kiryu leaving Sue to walk with Minna

Akito looked at her, then shrugged a little.
"At the moment, I'd say we don't have much choice. We'll cooperate until we know more, at least. Otherwise...who knows what?"
He sighed...

"Guess we find our room now right?" said Red to Akito, walking over to him with his hands behind his head. Claire sighed, looking over at the armor then back to BlackWarGreymon, both sharing a moment before going to their rooms.

Akito nodded.
"Guess so."
He sighed...

Sue looked from person to person, not seeing their face but grasping for some feeling of hopefulness. There was none. She quietly lowered her head, a shadow covering her eyes, and she nodded reluctantly. Gestalt, humanist, and cognative behavioral theory stated a positive approach was a good way of staving off feelings of hoplessness.
The corners of her mouth briefly twitched into a smile, but then fell flimsily back into place as she straigned up and took a calming breath. "Alright... which one of you is Veyu?... And would you mind telling me what exactly you are just for future reference?"

come on ' minna said to sue. we need to find our rooms, so we can at least get ourselves adjusted to this place. Since I dont see any doors out of this place.. we'll have to play this guys game, at least for now. I'm Minna By the way. whats yours?" She asked Sue.

Veyu walked over "I'm Veyu, and i'm a Draconian. Follow me."
Kiryu eventually found the room "Minna, I have discovered our shared room"

Sue looked to the person talking to her-- a woman, by the sound of her voice, and gave a tired smile.
"My name is Sue. Sue the Yellow Belly. Amature psychotheorist and associative visual agnostic. Pleased to meet you."
She began to follow her. Visual agnosia was not blindness, and she could easily see well enough to navigate around. She simply didn't know what she was navigating round except by their crude shape.

i'm talking with her for a bit ' Minna replied ' Just go to our room and leave the door open so i know its ours..' she said finally.
- ilsa headed towards her room, glad at least to have sonme nmore familar faces with the fauxens arrival.

Kiryu nodded, opening the door and walking inside. Jeremy opening the door and walking inside, not liking Isla due to knowing her from many years in the past.

so you have difficulty seeing, but are not,... entirely blind.. minna said. ' anything you need, just ask.. i'll see what i can do for you. I'm a draconess by the way, we're related to dragons, or at least are similar to them. we cant fly or spit fire from our mouths, but we have a strong affinity with magic, observe' minna said gesturing and creating a ball of fire in her claw. ' See?' she said.

Akito smiled a little.
"I'm Akito. I'm what's called a Fauxen. It's nice to meet you."
He said to Sue. Drago nodded as well.
"You can call us Drago. We are...a walking suit of armor..."
It said with a small pause...

Sue shook here head. "Nope. 20/20 vision. What I have is visual agnosia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_agnosia), which means I have damage to the part of my brain that interprets the physical information from my eyes. I can see everything. I'm just incapeable of identifying what most of it is."
She smiled as she watched the dracon conjur a fireball. Fire was one of the things she could always identify-- it was too distinct and moved in too unique a manner to be mistaken for anything else. Sue bowed her head. "I appreciate that. I really do."
Sue looked over to the armours and nodded. "Ah. So that's why I couldn't tell if you had a face or not. Well, I've never heard of a Fauxen before, but something tells me you've never heard of a Yellow Belly before either. Weird day, isn't it?"

ah so you see, but have trouble placing what you see in context.. for example, the shape of someones face.. hopefully you'll come to recognize me or ilsa in due time..' mInna said kindly.. she left the flame aloft so sue could follow her.. as they headed down the hallway.. ' so how did you end up here Sue? she asked

ilsa reached her room which she would share with jeremy.. the room was big, there wre two bed but not much of what you would call creature comforts..

Akito smirked.
"Weird doesn't even begin to describe it. But it's really nice to meet you. Hope we'll get to know each other better as we figure this out."
He said pleasantly. Drago chuckled.
"I do so have a face...well...it's a skull, but it is a face..."
He said calmly..

Jeremy remained in full clothing, keeping his mask on as he sat on his own bed and lay down, staring at the ceiling "Well this sucks."

"Well... I can see shapes just fine. Simple ones, anyway. I do have a problem with faces from people who aren't my own kind-- a mild prosopagnosia. It does go away with time, but I'll have to know you for awhile before it does. Normally, when you look at a face, you're brain actually process the entire face instead of just processing the individual parts and just adding them together. An entire part of our brains are devoted just to recognizing faces. That part of my brain is a bit damaged too." Sue rubbed the back of her head and gave an apologetic grin. "I guess that's why I didn't recognize your skull as a face. My bad."
Sue turned back mInna, recognizing her by her skin tone. "Probably the same way as you. I don't know how I got here, and I didn't even know I was somewhere other than my house until I ran into Kiryu. What about you? Did you actually see what happened to bring you here?"

Utena looked up, smiling a little.
"Well, from my end, it looked like some kinda portal opened up beneath them, and then they were gone!"
She chimed in, then looked at Sue.
"Oh, and I'm Utena! Nice to meet you~!"
She sing-songed...

Sue smiled and nodded, marking Utena in her head by the flight in her voice rather than her happy expression. "Very nice to meet you. Let's see... that's Utena, Minna, the Fauxen fellow... who else was there?..."
Sue got a look of alarm.
"Veyu! I was supposed to be following her! Uh, d-did any of you happened to see which way she went off too?"
'... A portal...' she thought at the very back of her mind.

we were casting spells while on a exploration of an old ruin.. and well the spell... backfired on us.. and brought us here.. all things considered it could be worse, we could have been maimed or killed.. at least here.. we're alive.. Minna replied as she smiled at Utena. utena was, next to ilsa, her best friend. minna didnt care that she was a fauxen, what mattered is that she was loyal and not afraid to show that she cared..

"Over here." called Veyu, not that far away

'Spell backfire... there's was a magical cause too... what brought me here, then?'
Sue nodded to Minna and Utena as sort of a short bow, and quickly scurried off in the direction of Veyu's voice before she got too far away.
"I-I'll talk to you later! I should probably find where my room is so I have place to come back to if I get lost around here!"
Running briskly, she skidded next to Veyu and gave another apologetic half bow.
('Bow to sensei, grasshopper', she thought absurdly, blaming the strange thought on a strange day.)
"I'm sorry. Shall we go to our room?"

Veyu nodded, opening the door and letting her in first. Veyu sighed, mumbling to herself with annoyance at being stuck with a mental case.

Drago sighed as Sue walked off.
"Hm. Fascinating group, this one. Wonder what will happen next..."
He said with a shake of his head, then glanced around.
"Oh. I seem to have lost track of...Claire, yes. The one I'm supposed to be rooming with."
He said at last. Juri, meanwhile stood next to Ilsa. "Thank whatever gods there are that you're alright. If you'd been hurt...or worse...I don't know what I would do..."
She said softly...

lets head to our rooms then ' minna aid to utena.. ' so you guys followed me and ilsa here too huh.. well better to be stuck with a friend than stuck alone, I say"

Claire had remained behind with Drago, the same as Black WarGreymon for Utena (And everyone should be with the people designated- remember the consequences I mentioned? I will enforce them, read my signature for the set up)

ilsa took a seat on the far bed as she gathered what few belongings she had on her. ' whats your name? she asked Jeremy.

"Jeremy" he replied, sitting up "Yours?" he asked, even though he was already aware of exactly who she was

Sue smiled, completely incapable of seeing any look of irritation on her new roommate's face.
"Thanks. I have a feeling we'll get along swimmingly, Veyu."

"Right..." replied Veyu, taking off her armor and tossing it to the side, stretching her arms and wings

Drago bowed to Claire, then opened the door to the room for her.
"Ah, this is where we'll be staying, is it? Not too shabby, I suppose."
He said with a small chuckle...

Utena smiled awkwardly at the black Digimon across from her.
"So, uh..."
She stammered...

Mine's Ilsa ' She replied ' nice to meet you..

minna bid good night to utena and headed into her room where kiryu was waiting.. ' interesting place, wouldnt you say? she said trying to make light conversation.

Claire glanced inside "Yeah, thanks" she said grateful- walking inside with him
BlackWarGreymon rubbed his neck "Ugh, I'm BlackWarGreymon" he said, offering his hand
"It is indeed interesting" he replied, turning to face her "The Global Defense Force would find this anomaly a valuable asset that could be weaponized"
"Alright" replied Jeremy, stretching "So... hungry?" he asked, gesturing to the small cupboard in the room

Drago chuckled.
"So since we got paired together, I suppose getting to know each other is in order."
He said gently.

Utena perked up, then took the offered hand and shook it enthusiastically.
"I'm Utena! It's nice to meet you!"
She exclaimed...

Claire nodded "Sounds like a good idea" she agreed
BlackWarGreymon blinked, surprised at her enthusiasm "Er... nice to meet you as well"

weaponized? first things first we need to get out of this place. and second, i'm thinking this place would serve better as a place of imprisonment or exile, than something to be turned into a weapon.. Minna said
_ lets see what the cupboard has for us.. ' they included some cracked bottled soda and a block of cheese..

Jeremy sighed "Not exactly first class eh?"
Kiryu looked at her, still not use to socializing "Imprisonment is designed for punishment, this area seems to be adequate for what humans would classify as a hotel"

Drago nodded.
"So...would you like to go first?"
He asked...

Utena smiled and looked around.
"Well, this place isn't so bad. I mean, it's roomy, and Minna's here...so it could be worse!"
She giggled...

at least we have something to drink.. we've got pepsi , coke and diet coke.. i'll take the diet as i'm watching my weight..' Ilsa said taking the middle bottle and a clawful of crackers.. help yourself to the cheese and crackers

well in hotels they let you come and go as you please.. here there seems to be no way out " Minna replied.

"Er, well- my name's Claire and i'm 19 years old. I'm from a world where Digimon like BlackWarGreymon and... Red? as well as that odd looking WarGreymon type are a common occurrence"
"Considering" agreed Black WarGreymon

Jeremy chuckled, amused "Why is it women are obsessed with weight? Kinda dumb... by the way- that 'diet' stuff uses a sugar substitute.. you have a higher chance of getting cancer... have fun with that thought"
Kiryu now understood "Ah.... I ... can see what you are conveying"

Drago nodded, the glow in his eye sockets flickering as he did so.
"Mm. Fascinating. Those...Digimon, as you call them...they are most fascinating."
He said, absently tapping his armguard...

"So...do you remember how you got here?"
She asked finally...

Juri lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
"Hmph...Wonder how soon we can get out of here. Though...being with Ilsa..."
She mused quietly to herself...

dracons dont get cancer like humans do, our magic prevents that ' Ilsa replied. as for why, its for appearances sake, really more than anything. guys, in my experience dont worry about things like that..' She said taking a big swig from the soda..

minna said little but began going through her things..

"Wanna learn more after you tell me about yourself?" asked Claire
BlackWarGreymon shook his head "No, I was returning from my 'date' with Claire when we had woken here"
"Who cares. Whenever I find who trapped me, I will tear them apart and feast on their remains." said Dokeuki in response to Juri as he paced the room.

Jeremy shrugged, grabbing a regular coke and popping the seal- putting in a straw. Lifting his mask ever so slightly he began to drink.
Kiryu wandered about the room, full of curiosity since he was almost as small as a human and could touch things. Taking his gloves off, he was surprised that it didn't hurt like his fights with Godzilla.

Drago nodded again.
"I suppose that seems a fair trade. My name is Drago...or at least...that is what I call myself now. I was once a real, breathing dragon...but I was betrayed by my clan, left to die at the hands of some foolish knight...I won, but was mortally wounded. As I died...my soul must have bound to this armor, as well as my skull. So I united the two, and now...here I am."
He said, looking at the ceiling...

Utena grinned.
"Ooh, a date, huh~? Fun~!"
She said perkily...

Juri nodded.
"For once, I agree. When I get my hands on them..."
She angrily sat up, pulling a knife from in her sleeve and throwing it into the wall with a low growl...

"That's.... so sad" commented Claire, empathizing with the death since she'd seen BlackWarGreymon die in her past
"It was" replied BlackWarGreymon
Dokueki chuckled, amused at the small knife she'd thrown

Drago chuckled.
"It was...unpleasant to say the least. Not as unpleasant as waking up in this..."
He noted, tapping the hollow steel of his body...

"I'm Dokueki WarGreymon" he told her, pausing to glance at her

Bored, Jeremy got up "I'm heading to the shower- try to come in i'll remove your fingers"

the clock in minnas room chimed the hour, it was 10 at night..

Kiryu glanced to the clock, grabbing it off the wall and looking it over
Jeremy left Isla and entered the bathroom, closing the door and undressing, getting in the shower moments later.

Drago nodded.
"It took me almost two years to figure out the intricacies of this body. Thankfully, it doesn't change."
He chuckled...

Claire shrugged, sitting down on her bed- not sure of what else she could say to him

Sue looked around the room as Veyu took off her armour (she knew it was Veyu simply because she was the only thing in the room that had a face) who was standing next to a large rectangular object that was hoisted off the ground by four square shaped struts. She looked over at the other rectangular object in the room, and assumed it was her bed. Smiling, she playfully jumped onto it.
She collided with a hard wooden surface that immediately collapsed beneath her with a loud crash.
Sue look around bewilderedly, looking at the pieces of the 'bed' she thought she was jumping on. 'Oops.... I must have jumped on a table,' she thought, and turned to smile sheepishly at Veyu. 'All ways feel it before you jump on it, you ditz,' she scolded her self, feeling a blush rise on her cheeks.
"Ehehe... Uh, so that circular thing in the corner must be my bed... right?"

"Yes, try to be careful." Veyu added with annoyance in her voice

"I usually am," Sue chuckled, pulling herself to her feet. "I guess I'm still a little riled by all that's happened today. Some people take adversity to be an invitation for optimism. There's a feeling of freedom that comes with it."
She walked carefully over to the round object and felt it to make sure it was her bed before sitting down on it.
"I've never had a roommate before. When I was younger I had caregivers who helped me do day to day activities, but that was it. It's kind of exciting, isn't it?"

"Not particularly" replied Veyu, seeming to be a stick in the mud

Drago chuckled, slinging himself onto the bed.
"If you need me, I'll be resting."
He said, as his armor clattered down, apparently fully de-animated...

Sue just smiled quietly to herself, and ran her hands over the walls and fabric of the bed sheets. She wondered if there was any books in braille here?
"You seem tense," Sue said, looking up. "Tell me: what's your story, Veyu?"

"My story is my own. Not for sharing, the only person I speak to is Jeremy and unfortunately he isn't here to entertain me." replied Veyu
Claire blinked at the armor for a few seconds "o..kay?..."
"I will discover a way out and make our captor suffer, I will enjoy feasting on their corpse. I may perhaps even eat them while they are alive." stated Dokueki

better get to bed as theres not much to around here, for the moment. ' Minna said.

i'm hitting the hay. in the morning, perhaps we can find out more about this place ' Ilsa said to jeremy ' Have a good night.

"I respect that," Sue said mildly, lying back in her bed. "Then at least tell me what you look like. I can make out a tail, some scales, and a lovely set of eyes, but not much else. The rest doesn't mean anything to me."

Jeremy was in the shower but could hear her call to him "Yeah yeah, sure"
Veyu explained her body was basically the same as Isla and Minna she'd met earlier, aside from feet with three toe claws and no spur and wings on her back, as well as a bigger frame

Sue covered a hand to her mouth to stifle a snicker. "I don't know what they look like either."
She rolled onto her side.
"So, is Jeremy your boyfriend?" she asked, still smiling.

the two draconesses soon were asleep in thier beds.. resting until the morning

Akito looked around the room and then sighed, walking out of the room with a smirk.
"I'm gonna go walk around."
He said to nobody in particular...

the night passed- although it was hard tell inside.. and clock in minnas room struck six.. ' she stirred from her sleep.. ' ah.. time to get up i guess she muttered as she got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to wash her face.

Sue watched Veyu carefully, not seeing her but wanting to put her gaze on her. Suddenly, she got up. "I'm going to for a stroll. I think better when I move around," she announced, opening the door and walking out. As soon as the door was closed, she scraped a slash mark into the door.
'There we go. Now I'll be able to tell this door is mine from now on. Maybe Veyu will have some time to acclimate while I'm gone.'
With that, she turned and began to walk down the dark corridor.

ilsa soon awoke and decided to head out of her room to go for a walk.. ' try and find out how big this place is ' she though..

"I wonder if experience causes our sympathetic nervous system to change?" Sue said softly to the walls around her. "That woman doesn't even really know she's reflecting on me. She's competitive, I'm guessing. I wonder what it is she and that posse of hers does?"
'It's not good to make assumptions, you know,' she told herself in her head.
Sue smiled.
"I have to make assumptions just to know what I'm seeing. How's this any different?"
She stopped as soon as she heard footsteps pattering down the halls.
"Hello?"

Hello there' Ilsa saidm, coming up to her. ' so i'm not the only one taking a stroll huh/' she smiled at Sue. " So what are you walking for?"

Akito sauntered down the hall, waving to Ilsa and Sue.
"Hey."
He chuckled...

Sue smiled to the both of them, nodding politely.
"Greetings, you two. My roommate isn't being very communal, so I'm giving her some time to herself. We're all pretty razzled after today, aren't we?"

"Absolutely not." replied Veyu with a stubborn glare "He's an abomination.". Taking a seat on her bed, a few hours had passed when Sue informed her she was leaving the room.

minna soon headed out of her room and headed out to join the others in the hallway.

In the kitchen, Claire was happily preparing breakfast for everyone with BlackWarGreymon- both glad to be in each others company again.

Sue yawned as she woke up and, calmly walked over to the bathroom (she had painted a bright red x on the door it the previous night so she could recognize it by color) and felt around for the faucet. She smiled at the water as it came out.
For some odd reason, water was something she could always identify. She sometimes mistook other liquids like coffee, milk, and oil, but she could always tell when she saw water. As she brushed her teeth (careful to use the braille on the tube to make sure she wasn't accidently brushing her teeth with ointment) she thought about something she could do to ease the tensions she felt with Veyu.
'People like her don't open up easily, and even when they do, they'll shut right back up if you give them any reason to believe that they can't trust you. What can I do to show gain her trust?'
She turned the knob on the faucet, put down her toothbrush, and used simple landmarks in the room to make her way to the hallway door, to head to the kitchen and eat some breakfast.
She rattled her brain for an answer the entire way down.

minna and ilsa soon reached the kitchen- which had enough tables, plates and chairs for everyone in the house. " so whats for breakfast?' Ilsa asked as she took a seat at a nearby table. minna went to the cupboards and opened them.. there were all sorts of t\ food packed away in there..

"Some bacon and eggs" began Claire, BlackWarGreymon finishing the sentence "As well as some hashbrowns and baked beans"

i'll grab some hash browns and fruit then.' Ilsa said going over and piling up food on her plate. Minna was next, as the two draconesses helped themselves. before taking seats at thier respective tables..

Finishing the food, Claire and BlackWarGreymon carried the large plates over to the table so everyone could grab what they wanted. Jeremy soon coming out and taking a seat, his mask still on. "Why don't you take that off?" suggested Claire. "Nope." he replied, grabbing a plate of bacon and hash browns.

Sue simply followed her nose to the kitchen, and nodded with a smile at the people eating around the corner. She didn't recognize a single solitary one of them, but the feeling of familiarity she felt made her feel that these were the same people from before.
She walked over to the table ('this is a kitchen, food is being served, and everyone is sitting around a rectangular object, so it must be a table', she reasoned), grabbed at a strange object that she was in a shape she could sit in, and gave an early-morning sigh.
"Good morning everyone. Is Ilsa, Minna, or Kiryu at the table right now?"
Using her nose, she identified a salad plate in the corner and reached for it. "And by the way, is there a 'Jeremy' here too, by the way?"

ILsa' Ilsa said, looking across the table from Sue. Minna's over there to the left, and Jeremy is over there.. she motioned. " so you have any trouuble finding this place?' she asked.

Akito walked into the room, grinning as Juri and Utena joined the group, taking seats next to Ilsa and Minna respectively. Akito smiled and nonchalantly grabbed a plate, taking some food before sitting down. Drago joined the group moments later, clanking in and taking a place near a wall...

"Nah. I used my nose instead of my eyes," Sue said, as she scooped a salad forkful into her mouth. "You all had a good night's sleep? No bad dreams?"
'So this is Veyu's Jeremy,' she thought, eyeing him.

i dont get bad dreams.' Ilsa replied. " so whats your home like/' Ilsa asked. mine's complicated.. lets put it that way..

Kiryu soon came out as well, standing by the wall like Drago since he wasn't required to eat. Eventually Veyu came out and seated herself beside Jeremy. Even Dokueki had come out to grab some food, taking his plate back to the room.

"My home?" Sue repeated, surprised to be asked. "Well, I guess this place is my home now, isn't it? For better or worst. But I used to live in a quiet little part of town for most of my life. That's where my 'house home' is, at least: I was born in a place called the Great Valley. I had my... my accident there when I was eight. I started wandering the world asking questions about the brain when I was nine. With assistance, of course."
She smiled, stirring her salad. "I guess I'm lucky I found my passion so early. What about your home, Ilsa? Where did you come from? Where were you born?"
Immediately after she asked this question, she turned to Jeremy (or at least the person she was informed was Jeremy) just as someone came into the room and sat down next to him.
"And Jeremy? You mind telling me more about Veyu? I have a feeling me and her aren't seeing eye to eye very much. I don't know: I guess it must be annoying living with someone with a handicap like mine, but I would like to find some way to get to know her. She mentioned she only tells her backstory to you."

Jeremy looked to Veyu who seemed too interested in eating her food. "Sure, I guess- well, her and I go back about 19 years, I helped her with a bunch of set tasks- eventually killing our employer since he was a complete psycho and running off"

Sue paused in mid forkbite. She blinked at Jeremy with a look that could only be described as bemused horror. "I'm guessing signing a resignation letter was out of the question," Sue said, blinking. "Well. Now I know why she didn't want to talk about it. Still, I'm afraid it's a bit excluding. I'll have to find some other way to improve things with her than talking about her past, I guess," she sighed. "When do you think she's going to get up, anyway?"

"Who knows, it took a few months for her to stop calling me human" shrugged Jeremy, lifting his mask slightly to devour a strip of bacon.

Sue blinked as Jeremy took his face off. 'Mask,' she thought and in that moment wondered if she'd ever know Jeremy well enough to tell the difference between his face and a mask.
"I could wait months," Sue said as she stroked one of the leaves of lettus on her table. She could recognize most green foods by touch alone.
"I don't think that's how I should go about it, though. I wonder if there's anything to actually do in this house? Maybe we could find something we both like, or we both dislike."
She twitched her lips, as if working something awkward in her mouth.
"I can't live with someone who can't live with me. Part of it is me, and part of it is my visual agnosia. I live in a world where almost everything looks like I'm seeing it for the very first time-- where I forget what something looks like the moment my eyes aren't centered on it. When you live in that kind of world, having one of those unfamiliar things constantly lashing out at you makes you want to shut away from people, especially if you can't read facial expressions and tell when they're angry with you and when they aren't."
Sue looked up to Jeremy, then to the person next to Jeremy (whoever it was) and then to Ilsa and whoever was next to her.
"I refuse to do that. I'm not going to let my disability make a prisoner out of me, and I especially won't be a prisoner in my own room. I may not get Veyu to like me-- but I will find a way to get her to live with me."
She took a bitefull of the lettus on her fork, crunching through it before looking up and asking: "Where is Veyu, anyway?", completely unaware that she was sitting directly in front of her. "I thought she'd be up by now. Eh. Maybe she's tidying up. I wouldn't have pegged her as the type to spend an hour in front of the mirror."
She turned back to Ilsa and smiled. "So, one out of thirty six? You must have had a lot of people to play with as a kid. Sounds nice."

"She's next to me" said Jeremy casually as he fed bacon through a small opening under his mask "And I doubt you'd like the things she does... she has a knack for torture and generally being cruel"

yes i did. guys had thier own wing, girls had thiers' ilsa nodded. thee was as you might imagine a lot of competition for dads favor. and with so many, the competition was fierce. i got enough time with him, i suppose. cant really complain. thee are families that are twice as big or even three times as big, with as many as 100 kids..

Sue's eyes widened, and she looked to the previously unknown person next to Jeremy. Then she turned back to Jeremy, and glared with a small smile.
"You know, I've met people who never give up a chance to watch me make a fool of myself when they damn well know they could have said something."
Although she tried to sound calm as she said this, she was fuming with anger on the inside. She felt completely betrayed that Jeremy knew Veyu was next to him all along and let her mouth off.
Veyu must have heard what she said, right? Fine. She wasn't ashamed of it. She was still furious and embarrassed.

"Don't worry about it" shrugged Jeremy "She's too busy eating to even notice you"

Sue had no idea how Jeremy was reacting to his glare, by the sounds of it, he didn't get it. It wasn't that Veyu overheard her or not. It was the fact that he let her talk without ever stopping her or warning her that Veyu was in front of her. While Sue tried to tell herself that she didn't consider herself 'handicapped' (or at least she didn't like to think of it that way), she felt utterly disgusted and helpless whenever she felt someone had taken advantage of her inability to recognize what she saw. In her mind, Jeremy had no reason not to tell her or warn her that Veyu was sitting next to him unless it was because he wanted to watch her make a fool out of herself. She remembered plenty of times in her life when people would play horrible tricks on her. She just hadn't expected it to come from someone who she had just poured her heart out to.
"This conversation is over, Jeremy," Sue said, turning away and blinking back tears.

Had Sue not been upset, she would have noticed that the tone in Jeremy's voice sounded genuinely surprised, but she turned away and looked at Ilsa instead, covering her face with a hand.
"I-I'm sorry for that," Sue said sheepishly, looking up at her and wiping away a tear. "Please, tell me more about where you lived. What's the landscape look like? What are the people like?"
'Anything to make me feel like less of an idiot,' she thought to herself.

Sue smiled. "That's sounds beautiful Ilsa. You sound like you had the perfect childhood growing up. I envy you. A great family, a beautiful place to live, magic, adventure, wealth. What more could anyone want?"
She heard Kiryu's voice to her left and gave a jolting start, whirling around. The moment she laid eyes on him, she gave a sudden small gasp. Her ill feelings from earlier vanished, and a huge smile lit up on her face.
"Kiryu! I can recognize you!"
She was so happy about this that she suddenly stood up out of her chair and wrapped her arms around him, feeling the metal on his body. She supposed she shouldn't have been surprised: Kiryu looked so distinct that even someone with visual agnosia could pick out the small details that clearly marked him out for who he was. But she couldn't help it-- it was something that always was a celebration for her.

and what is your home like Sue? Do you have brothers and sisters?' ilsa asked in reply.
minna was busy eating her breakfast, and not paying much attention to the others..

Sue turned to Ilsa, tilting her head. "What's my house like? Uh... small. One floor... as to what it looks like, you know, I really couldn't tell you. It has shapes and colors. Lots of shapes and colors. Particularly lots of colors I can immediately identify so I know what is which so I don't get things mixed up. There's a special store for the blind in my area where everything sold is in braille, so everything's either dotted or colored funny so I don't accidently brush my teeth with floor polish or something."
Sue let go of her hug from Kiryu as she thought about the other question Ilsa asked her.
"I have one older brother. Very sweet. He was really fussy about me as a kid, but I guess that's what big brothers are for, right?"
The smile on her face suddenly slipped away, and she sank back into her chair.
"You think there's any phones in this place?" she asked hesitantly, realizing that it might be quite a while before she ever got to contact her family again.

Kiryu spoke "I do not detect any telecommunication devices within this area- I do not even detect a signal outside of this building"

Whats his name? and we dont have- what do you call them?- phones? We dont have them in my world' Ilsa replied. " sorry, cant help you there..

"... Issac," she said with a sigh. "His name is Issac... You know... I was planning on calling him as soon as I got home from work yesterday-- phones are basically long distance voice carriers, Ilsa. I always call him every other day at 6:30. He's probably worried. He always worries."
She held a hand up to her face. She could almost hear the news headline on the radio: 'Visually Impaired Woman Goes Missing; Family Holds Out Hope, Police Fear The Worst." All of the people she had been lobbying to get moved from the local prison to a mental health facility, all her 'patients', all her friends, her family, her coworkers... They all must surely be wondering where she had gone to by now.
She couldn't see them. She truely had dissapeared off the face of the earth. Lips quivering, Sue asked: "Does anyone have any idea who it is that's keeping us here? Who that voice we heard last night was?"

"I do not have any information" stated Kiryu. "If they wanted us to know, we'd know" said Jeremy simply as he ate, finishing up his food.

"I don't care if they don't want us to know," she said with a cross voice. "And frankly, I'm concerned no one seems to be more alarmed about this. We've been kidnapped. I'd like to at least try to find out who's behind it."
She turned to Kiryu, once again feeling a shiver that she was actually seeing him. Not inferring: seeing.
"Kiryu? It sounds like you have a lot of advanced sensors. Are you saying that you can't get a single reading about this place we're in?"

well i hope we'll be able to return you home to your brother isaac' Minna said. ' but first we need to get out of here, wherever that is..

"That is correct, I detect we are the only life forms and or beings here"

Sue wrinkled her snout.
"Okay... Maybe the person who brought us here isn't on site," she suggested as she paced in front of the breakfast table.
"Or maybe... umm... ugh, I don't know," she admitted. "I'm not going to pretend like I know better than anyone else what's happening, so I guess I don't have any right to be coming up with schemes." She looked up at the people in the kitchen-- not actually seeing any of them save for kiryu, but still knowing that among the cloud of faces there were sorcerers and warriors who held strength far beyond anything a scrawny visually agnostic Beipeiasaurus would ever posses.
'What about you guys? You all must have ideas-- even if just ideas-- about what we need to start doing from here on out."

that the thing. I dont think any of us have any idea how we got here, or how to get out. i would suggest exploring this place from top to bottom" ilsa said " i suggest we form a group and search this place as much as possible. Who's with me?

Sue gave a sheepish grin. "I'll definitely need to be in some group to get around. I think I'd feel safest with you, Ilsa; I'll be in your group."

I'll join you guys too. Minna said, coming up to them. 'Just Stick close to us Sue. We'll steer you right.."

Sue nodded and followed Ilsa while looking over at Minna. After the excitement of having recognized Kiryu, she almost half-wished she'd recognize someone else before the day was through. Sadly, when Minna walked into view (or at least, she assumed it was Minna; she was following Ilsa and had Minna's voice, so she must be Minna) she didn't look familiar to her.
Sighing, and then mentally chastising herself for worrying about that when she should be focusing on helping explore, she followed Ilsa out of the kitchen.

minna walked on down the hallway ' hold on to my claw Sue' ilsa said, reaching out her claw to her ' that way you can know my touch, and eventually know my voice.. the hallway was clear..

Blinking, Sue smiled and graciously took Ilsa's hand. "I get what you mean by knowing people by touch," Sue said. "Back where I grew up, there's this teacher who I knew since before my accident. I still visit him sometimes; he lets me run my hand over his face so I know how his face has changed since I last saw him."
Sue could usually tell a wall pretty easily, particularly a wall with no fancy designs or inlays. However, she couldn't tell if she had seen one wall before or not, unless it had something obvious like a mark on it.
"So what should we be searching for?" Sue asked as she looked up ahead to Minna.

anything that might show how old this place is, if there is anything of note in here' minna said opening a door- it was empty.. ' nothing in here' she sighed.

Sue nodded, frowning. She didn't have the heart to say that it was almost impossible for her to judge non living things by age. She closed her eyes and tried to think logically. Something that could easily tell age... well, a deed would be useful, but she doubted they would find one in this place. What else... they could probably infer a date by the construction materials. Asbestos was common up until the nineteen eighties, and what type of insulation was used... Right?
She sighed. "Yeah, let's check upstairs."

The sound of jet engines sliced through the air as four model airplane sized planes circled outside the house's doorway.
They were Captain Aaron "Avenger" Fairchild ó a living A-10 ground attack plane; Second Lt. Gen "Pomegranate" Martin ó a living F-16 fighter jet; Major Martin "Biggie" Lockie ó a living AC-130 ground attack plane; and Major Allison "Rainbow" Douglas ó a living F-22 fighter plane.

Sue craned her neck up, left, and around as Isla helped them walk up the flight of stairs. The distance between the steps were very comfortable. She knew she was probably the only person in the world who would notice that kind of thing, but when there was nothing else to notice, she supposed thinking about how something felt was the only thing to do. That said, she didn’t like the little overhang over each step: every time she brought her foot up, she bumped her toes against the overhang and nearly tripped.
“Okay,” Sue said, eyeing the stairs as she walked up them to make sure she didn’t break her neck from unlucky step, while Ilsa kept guiding her by the hand. “So once we find something to date this place, or something to tell us where we are, we’ll need to form some kind of meeting to tell everyone what we’ve found. Keeping everyone in the loop will keep us all cohesive and maybe help inspire some kind of idea of how to-“
She had looked up for just the briefest moment, and her foot hit the overhang of the step at exactly the wrong angleóat the very last step on the staircase, no less. She fell foraward with a startled cry, falling on top of Ilsa and knocking the both of them to the ground with a crash. The next thing Sue knew she realized her nose was pressed up to Isa’s, their lips locked together . She rolled away, horrified.
“Oh my gosh! I am so sorry!” she said, blushing like crazy. “I took my eyes off for one second andóI’m sorry, Isla, i-it was an accident!”

"its ok," Ilsa smiled. ' i dont hold that against you. so we kissed, its not a big deal ' she smiled at sue. '. it was a mistake.. hey it happens.. 'unless you want to kiss again ' her grin grew larger.

Sue blush lit up her whole face, her eyes wide in absurd shock. "A-again?" Sue stammered.
"Well- I, Uhh... W-well-"
She tapped her fingers together, the blush lighting up her entire face, her eyes, roaming eveywhere but Sue's face.
When it flickered back to Ilsa's she blinked. She recognized it. She recognized Ilsa's face.
She licked her lips nervously and said. "...Can we?"

Sue's blush was as read as it could possibly get. In the midst hot, misty feeling in her head, she felt herself nod.
"I-I've never really pursued... that kind of thing," she admitted, and that was mostly true. She had often told herself not to get her hopes up of ever finding someone she liked in that manner. As to the comment about her being a good first time kisser, she litterally could not think of a response. Her mouth just opened and closed a few times like fish as she tried to think what on earth she should say.
Her gaze looked on the hand touching her snout-- Ilsa's hand, not a stranger's like everyone else's, but suddenly Ilsa's hand-- and then back again.
"O... Okay."

It was a strange sensation for Sue. Her body acted against the protest of her brain. Not paying attention to the call coming up the stairs, Sue took a step forward up to Ilsa, eyes locked on hers. Still blushing and with no idea how all of this started by tripping on a stairstep, she leaned in and locked her lips against Ilsa's, eyes closed to focus on the electrifying new feelings that fluttered in her chest.
It was lovely. Very lovely.

ilsa, for a brief second, put her tongue into sues mouth, before pulling away. 'i take it back. you're not bad, you're good, very good;' she smilled, as she heard minna calling her ' we're up here Minna. we've found some rooms..

Sue's gave a tiny squeak as she felt Ilsa's toungue enter and withdrew. She gave slight gasp, still blushing as she saw Minna walking up the staircase. She was quivering a little, and gave Minna a fake looking smile.
"Uh... yeah, here are these rooms," she said with a forced chuckle.
'She said I was a good kisser!' Sue thought with delight.

'Oh, go away blush, go away, go away,' she though to herself, dearly hoping Minna didn't notice anything.
"Yeah. Light is unmistakeable-- just like color. I can always recognize it," she tried tos say with the coolest voice as she could. "If I see anything weird looking, I'll call to you guys."
Feeling her heart hammer in her chest, she turned and walked towards one of the doors. It probably looked weird to be so eager to explore, but she needed a moment to catch her breath, and that meant she needed a moment to herself.

"Right!" Sue said in as sweetly casual of a tone as she could. She went to the nearest door, and closed it. One glance around showed her it was a large room with several doors in the back. She walked forward with all urgency so of a marathon jogger, and threw open the first door she could reach at the back. It was small, had white tiling, an odd shaped thing in the corner, and looking to her left she saw her face looking back at her.
Nodding, the yellow belly closed the door, flipped the lock with her thumb, and listened for a moment so she felt alone.
The cool, loud sound of the overhead air vent reminded her of a vaccume cleaner. She always wondered if it even had any purpose.
"So..." she said to herself, looking over at the mirror. She was capable of recognizing her own face, and that came with it's downsides. She looked quite frazzled.
"I kissed a girl. Yeah.... Okay... What happens now?"
The mirror looked back at her. Probably for the best. If she heard someone give her a straight answer on that, it'd probably freak her out.
"...Well... let's see where this goes, shall we?"

Minna looked around at the room, after sue had left the dor open. ' looks like this is another hallway' she smiled. ' we need to find a way out girl' ilsa said, as minna stopped and stared at her ' what are you liooking at? ' is something going on/ she said with a note of concern. ' no Ilsa replied ' Ilsa, once this is over, once we find our way back home, we will almost certainly never see the others here again. so don't get too involved with anyone else here.. just a friends advice.. ' oh we both know we are more than friends Minna 'Ilsa replied. ' of course girl, just giving you advice, if you had any inclination towards anything..Minna smiled.

Sue tapped her fingers on the rim of what she assumed was a sink. She saw two silvery rods in front of her that she assumed was a spout and knobs, but she decided it would be safer not touch it. She had a slight smile on her lips that didn't meet her eyes.
The celling vent droned on and on like a quite vacuum cleaner.
She looked to the mirror one more time, nodding to herself affirmatively, and then wheeled around to pop the lock on the door. She opened it and walked into the room.
She let her eyes roam around, her mind still occupied by a multitude of questions she was asking about herself. There were a lot of brown cubes in this room: boxes, most likely. Walking over to a random one, she moved her hand over the surface and indeed felt cardboard.
"... Oh... just ... just don't worry for once," she whispered harshly to herself. "Issac would want me to take this kind of thing in stride."
That felt better, hearing herself say that, and she tried to smile again as she walked to the door she came in to.
"Hey guys, I-"
She blinked. She accidentally walked back into the bathroom.
"Well. Glad to see some things never change," she sighed, still smiling, before turning around and heading back to the other door.

Utena poked her head into the room where Minna and Ilsa were, accompanied by Juri and Akito. As soon as she saw Minna, she ran towards her, throwing her arms around the other girl with a squeak.
"Minna! There you are! I couldn't find you for so long and I thought I lost you andidon'twantthattohappen...."
She sputtered inelegantly, as Juri walked over to Ilsa, making a concerted effort to not make eye contact.
"We...lost track of you guys. We've been looking around, and...well...I...It's good to see you're safe."
She said softly to Ilsa...

ilsa gave juri a big hug. ' well you found us, so we'd best stick together.. she smiled at her.
minna nuzzled utena, and smiled at her. ' i prpose we all stick together. theres safety in numbers ' she said.

Sue opened the door to find Ilsa hugging another person-- she couldn't tell who it was, wether it was someone she knew or not, what gender, or any basic description of what they looked like. She felt a slight tinge of jealously, but immediately smothered it as she walked out with a smile.
"Hi. Did you guys come up here to help us with the search?" she asked, walking next to Ilsa. "I hope so: we haven't found anything noteable yet. It'd help if we knew what exactly we were looking for."
She glanced over to Minna, who was nuzzling someone else she didn't recognize. In a room with one girl she suspected she had a crush on, one she knew by name and not by sight, and two other people who just showed up out of the blue, Sue felt an odd sense of drive-- of motivation. Three's a crowd, sure, but five was a team.

Juri seized up when Ilsa hugged her, her tail fluffing straight out behind her as she blushed and let out a soft squeak.
Utena, on the other hand, pulled back, then leaned in and kissed Minna on the lips, blushing as she pulled away.
"U-uhmm...yeah...sticking together sounds good!"
She stammered out...

Sue followed behind. She noticed that the walls were starting to look different. Coming from her, the fact that anything so basic as a wall looked fundamanetally different usually meant it was begining to look decidedly different. They were shiny and gave of a soft flint from the strangely shaped electric lamps: metal walls, she guessed. The floor felt different under her feet as well, although when she looked down she didn't register it looking any different from before other than a slightly darker shade of color. The sounds of their footseps were echoing up the halls, and back down again. She didn't like it-- it was such a ominous sound to her ears.
She looked at the two newcomers (she differentiated Minna by the tone of her skin). And asked: "So, I don't mean to pry, but who are you two?"

Juri blushed, following behind Ilsa quietly, tail still poofed out behind her as she walked. Utena, however, hummed a little as she followed the others.
"Hm? Oh, us? I'm Utena, and the quiet one there is Juri. The one behind us is Akito. We're friends of Minna and Ilsa from their world. We ended up following them here!"
She said perkily.

yes, we've known these guys for awhile.' Minna said to sue. ' they'll be your friends as well in due time I'm sure' She smiled. the temperature in this part of the house was colder by a few degrees.

Sue rubbed her palms over her arms, minding her long Therizinosauridae claws. "Well that's odd. We just went up a staircase. Hot air rises; you'd expect it to get warmer." Her feathers protected her from feeling any major chills, but it was the fact itself that bothered her. She began twisting her neck around to see any silvery, slotted rectangle that could be an air vent, or a white tooth shaped object that could be an air conditioner. Sue saw neither.
"You guys are gonna have to be telling me what's around. I can't recognize anything."

well, somethings causing this place to cool. I don't think its a ghost or anything like that, but you never can tell.' minna said as she cast a spell creating a light orb. ' Ilsa opened a nearby door and looked inside./. ' we need to find something to eat, i say. breakfast wasn't very filling.

Juri smiled and nodded a little, blushing as she muttered something under her breath, glancing at Ilsa's backside.
Utena, meanwhile, had drawn a staff from behind her back, shifting closer to Minna.
"I hope it's not a g-ghost..."
She stammered...

Sue was not a mystic. While she had in her heart a desire to believe magic in some sense was real, it was only in these past two days that she dared to think magic was real in the most literal sense possible.
If magic was real, surely ghosts would be too, right?... Right?
Sue's lips pulled back to reveal a toothy smile.
"Even if they were real, I wouldn't be afraid of any ghost. What it could do to me, sure, but what do I have to fundamentally fear out of the unusual when everything I lay my eyes on already looks unusual to me?"
Now, if it was a ghost, she reasoned, that would tell them quite a bit. The mere presence of a hostile undead entity would say a lot about this place and perhaps the nature of it's owner. Maybe this place was built on a burial ground? Maybe the person who had abducted them knew necromancy? Maybe the ghost could simply another unfortunate soul (har har) to get sucked into this place against his/her/it's will?
That, or there were no ghosts. She was not a mystic; she was more inclined to believe there was an easier explanation. Her eyes turned to the two strangers, one of which was the girl Utera.
'Interesting she'd jump to ghost before anything else. She reminds me of that flier boy back in the valley. I wonder what her story is?'

Akito chuckled, reaching to his hip and gripping his scabbard tightly.
"Let's all just relax, here. It's probably nothing major. Just some sort of atmospheric anomaly. Possibly who or whatever lives here needs the colder temperatures to survive?"
He said calmly, though he was clearly on edge. From behind the others, a clattering of armor could be heard as Drago ran up to the rest of the group.
"Oh. Good, it's you lot. I was just wandering this place, thinking on things, and next thing I knew, I was lost and couldn't seem to find my way back. At last, a friendly set of faces."
He said warmly...

Sue blinked at the newcomer. Did he look familiar? No. No he did not. At least she assumed it was a 'he', in any case.

Sue stopped in place, and tilted her head.

"Do you hear that?" she asked, whirling her head around so her ears could get a bead on the direction. It kept on going: a deep, slightly metalic sounding precussive beat-- she was almost immediately reminded of the Terminator theme: a theme so famous even a non-movie goer like her knew it. But it was soft, too; very diffuse.
She placed her hand on the wall.
"I... I think it's above us," she said uncertainly.

Akito's ears perked, flicking as he tried to pinpoint the sound, nodding.
"Above us. Definitely. Not sure how far, but definitely up."
He said calmly, right hand reaching for his sword. Juri tensed up, immediately moving in front of Ilsa, drawing a set of throwing daggers from her sleeves.
"Ilsa. Stay close."
She said, calm and focused. Utena grinned, rolling her shoulders.
"Well, the good thing is we can hit it."
She chuckled...

Sue smothered the slightest hint of satisfaction that Ilsa rejected Juri... and immediately felt annoyed with herself for feeling so. What was she, four? This was hardly the time to let herself feel jealous!
"Well, let's not dally, then," Sue said as she continued walking. Her mind was on the noise upstairs.

Juri blushed as she stepped back meekly.
"S-Sorry...I just...N-never mind..."
She stammered weakly, ears drooping. Utena stepped forward, staff ready, ears twitching as she walked...

ilsa pretended not to notice the look on sues face as the group continued walking.. she and minna had a strong bond, the two of them could tell what the other was thinking by just a glance..

Sue didn't bother looking up at the ceiling (why bother?) but she kept thinking about it, in any case. It'd probably be too little to late to suggest heading back for back up

in case whatever they found wasn't friendly. Yes, they had magic users and warriors. Maybe it was just her own squirrely feeling of ineptitude, but she didn't like the idea that something else might be living in this house with them.
"Anyone have any guesses on wether it's friendly or not?" She asked.

Juri walked along behind the others, eyeing the ceiling warily as they walked.
(Damnit, Juri...Why can't you ever just say what you mean...what you feel? Just look her in the eyes and say "Ilsa, I love you?" Why is that so hard? Oh, right. Because she's a good, smart, beautiful woman while you're just...a failure at everything, who doesn't even have a family to speak of anymore.)
She berated herself mentally. Utena was nearer the front of the group, seemingly lost in her own thoughts as well.
(Heh...well, it may be a one-time thing, and only because we're in this place...but at least I got to kiss Minna once. Maybe I'll get around to telling her how I feel later...but for now, I'm okay with one kiss.)
She mused, smiling faintly. Drago hung near the back with Sue, glancing over at her.
"I presume you're talking about whatever resides upstairs, yes? I'd place my wager on that it is not...actively malevolent, at the least. Regardless, I doubt we need to worry. Even with my limited martial prowess, I think our friends will be able to manage handily."
He said calmly, voice echoing inside his hollow armor and skull slightly...

the hallway stretched onward, turning slightly to the left and right and other hallways branched off ' the temperature suddenly began to drop and the footsteps reappeared louder and louder..

BANG
One of the percussive beats came so hard and so loud that the lights on the ceiling flickered and the walls shook.
Sue waved her arms to balance herself, and jerked her head around like a mouse looking for a hawk.
"Oh dear," Sue uttered. "How sturdy are these walls?"
Another BANG, followed by a distant, apoplectic cry of "YES!"
The vibrations nearly knocked Sue off of her feet.

Adrian coughed into his hand, glancing around.
"Heh. We may want want to be careful of...disturbing someone in the middle of...things."
He said softly...

the only way we find out who or what it is, is by looking upstairs and find out the source of that nioise' Ilsa said as they kept on walking ' the noise kept getting louder.

So they walked, and as they walked there was the occasional loud crash from up above, and even more occasionally a voice that followed afterward. It was rather hard to make out exactly what the voice was saying: even Sue, who was used to identifying genders based on voice tones, couldn't tell wether it was a male or female yelling.
Either way, it was in Sue's professional opinion as a trained mentalist that whoever was making that noise was likely not all right in the head.
"YES! ALRIGHT, NOW AGAIN, BUT PUT MORE KICK IN IT!"
"Charming," Sue muttered.
Ahead of them that Sue was only just able to infer was a spiral staircase.

"Hey...Ilsa. I...I need to talk to you about something..."
She said quietly...

Sue couldn't tell who was who other than Ilsa, so thought nothing of it that one of faces she didn't recognize whispered something to her.
As she placed a hand on the stair rail, the pounding became more frequent.
"YES, YES, THAT'S IT! KEEP IT UP!"
Sue tried to ignore the uneasy feeling in her belly and climbed.

Drago smirked and looked up.
"Hmm...sounds like someone...or something is enjoying some activity."
He said with a chipper tone of voice...

"we are in the middle of searching Juri. What is you want to talk to me about?'Ilsa asked her. both ilsa and minna cast light spells so the others could see. minna cast a teveal spell ' red light showed overhead, whoever it was, wasn't friendly..

Juri looked aside nervously.
"Well...I...I mean..I might not get another chance to say this so...Ilsa...I'm in...I'm...I love you."
She stammered nervously...

Sue stopped in mid step as she heard this, and whipped her head to the direction that this whisper came from. Several thoughts ran through her head in rapid succession-- as well as several feelings. What she ended on was despair, and the though: 'Oh no... I came in too late in this,' she thought.
She was interrupted in this thought by another crash, and then another yell she couldn't understand.
What was worse, now that she was on the stairs, the wobbling from he crash scared her. She reached out for the nearest person to hold on to, and ended up grabbing Drago.

Drago wrapped an arm around her protectively, holding her lightly.
"Easy there. We don't want anyone getting injured here. That could be problematic, especially considering how little we know about where we are."
He said gently...

Sue heard an unfamiliar male voice and small "Oh!" was drawn from her lips.
"Oh! Yes, indeed. Story of my life, I'm afraid," she said, dearly hoping she didn't scratch the poor fellow wither he giant claws. "You were with the two girls who joined with us one the stairs, right?" she asked, her eyes flickering up to Ilsa and the whisperer.
"My name's Sue," she said distractedly. "I'm sorry for grabbing you like that, it's just-"
Another bang, another big rumble, and another moment that Sue had to tighten her hold on the male stranger to keep herself from falling.

Drago nodded.
"I take it you were shocked by the sudden outbursts of noise, correct? That and perhaps something else?"
He said calmly, chuckling softly.
"I am Drago, by the way."
He added. Juri was the next up the stairs, joining Minna and Ilsa at the landing, followed closely by Akito and Utena...

"... You could say that," Sue said, and suddenly got the feeling she was in the presence of someone who was difficult to hide things from.
"Either way, thank you Drago. I hope I'm of some use to you guys. I can scratch like nobody's business, but it won't be much good if I mistake one of our own team for the bad guys, would it?"
She scurried up the rest of the staircase in order to avoid the next inevitable quaking, shouting fit that did, indeed, arrive only a few seconds later.
The voice was laughing like a maniac. Sue could hardly take it seriously: it sounded like someone doing the most over the top mad-scientist impression in history. ANd yet every time the voice came, more quaking came in its wake. She reached the top of the stairs with a slight nod to the sea of unfamiliar faces, and then looked back to make sure Drago made it up okay.

Drago reached the top of the stairs, then smiled at Sue.
"I have an idea to help improve your combat ability."
He said gently, taking the skull off his armor and chuckling.
"If you wear this, I should be able to serve as your eyes, at least if we need to fight."
He said softly...

Sue blinked up at Ilsa, and smiled.
She didn't say it, and she tried not to think it, and she especially tried not look it, but she felt it. She felt that maybe she did have a chance.
"I'm fine, Ilsa. Thank you."
'If I want to be impressive, I'm going to have to be an asset when and if any fighting starts," she said, turning her gaze from Ilsa down to Drago.
"Skull?" she asked. "Well... my eyes are just fine. I have a brain injury: that's what visual agnosia is. My brain can't properly recognize what my eyes see.... but... you say... there's a chance I could see with this skull?"

Drago nodded.
"Especially if what I read about your condition is correct, then this will work flawlessly. Between my eyes and yours, my skull can filter and process the information so that what you see is exactly what is there. At the least, it'll allow you to readily distinguish friend and foe. Go ahead and try it now, while it's safe, just to test it out."
He chuckled...

Sue looked to Ilsa, feeling more than a little uplifted, and nodded to her and then to Drago. "Okay. You guys have been so supportive to me. I can't thank you enough for all you-"

"WOOOO HOOOO! JAMES CAMERON EAT YOUR HEART OUT!"
Deciding now was not the best time, she took the skull, and paused as she was about to place it on her. Would this make her see? Would this be the first time in nineteen years that she would be able to recognize what she saw?
Taking a small little breath of anticiaption, she put the skull on. She blinked. The person in front of her was Drago-- she knew this without having to infer it. She whirled around to look at the others. Indeed, she could pick out Minna, Utera, Juri, and Akito as well.
And yet... she couldn't really say anything about what they looked like. She simply knew what they were-- she couldn't recognize their features.
'Well, a lot better than nothing,' she thought to herself, and smiled, grasping Drago's hand with an elated smile. "Thank you so much, Drago! This is amazing!"

Drago chuckled, inclining his armored torso in what appeared to be a bow.
"Of course, Sue. It is always a pleasure to assist someone so beautiful and good-hearted as you."
He said jovially...

Sue smiled and nodded her head. "Thank you. You're a good man, Drago."
Sue scraped her long, razor sharp claws together, looking down at them and hoping they'd do the job. She never used them as weapons before: she'd never had a reason to until this point.
"Alright. Let's do this."
The voice got louder and louder as they walked on, and the quakes got worse and worse. It was at least a little bit more obvious now that the voice was male-- male of what kind of person or creature, however was still a mystery.
"We're almost there," Sue said, feeling nervousness kick in like an unwelcome party crasher.

the landing ended with a locked door. the sounds were clearly coming from behind the door ' we'll have to break it down' mInna said, and she threew a fireball againat the door. ' it did nothing though. ' stand back everyone we need to break this down..

Drago flicked his wrist, an elegant thin sword manifesting as he grabbed it, chuckling.
"Well...I suppose it is best that we press onward, hm?"
He said lightly...

Sue took a deep breath. She was so nervous he knees were quaking. "Okay... here we go..." she said, her eyes flickering around to her companions and wondering if they were as nervous as she was.
"NOW WHAT'S THIS, WHAT'S THIS," the voice blared through the door. It sounded like the man was just a soupcon below screaming at the top of his lungs.
"SOMEONE AT THE DOOR? LET THEM WAIT! LET'S CONTINUE OUR FIGHT, WALLY!"
A hideous roar blared out as a response that rattled the teeth in their skulls.
"Oh... d-dear," Sue mumbled.

"If worst comes to worst, then worry not. I'll protect you if the need arises."
He said gently, as Adrian and Utena readied themselves, while Juri nervously placed her hand on Ilsa's...

both ilsa and minna blasted away at the door, and after about 10 minutes, the door finally fell in, revealing another flight of steps leading upward. ' Stick close sue, you too juri' ILsa said to her friends..

Juri nodded, blushing faintly as she nodded.
"Oh, of course. I'll stay close to you, Ilsa~"
She said softly. Drago stood close to Sue, the inner glow of his armor changing to a faint pinkish color...

Sue stood between Ilsa and Drago-- and pushed away the very confusing feelings as they came. 'Have to focus,' she thought-- something she was having an increasingly hard time doing.
The flight of stairs lead directly into an entryway for a large room. Feeling her companinons by her side, she looked inside, her breath in her throat, sweat appering on her brow, and her heart hammering in her chest.
And she found she had abosultely no idea what she was looking at.
To be fair, the others were only moderately less confused than she was.
In the center of a room stood a man dressed in the most wildly flamboyant clothes the mind could imagine. The slanted hat, giant colorful feathers, and nobleman-esque shirt and pants seemed similar to the bizarre clothes of the landsknechte mercenaries in the fifteenth century. The man himself looked to be in his thirties, with a long shaggy beard and wild hairdo that was complimented by a look of childlike insane glee on his face.
"AH HA!" he shouted so loudly that it echoed in the very small room. "TIRED ALREADY, ARE YOU!?"
In front of him was a creature that was almost as tall as the ceiling. It had shining red eyes and a clear jaw, but it's body seemd to be a mishmash of plaster, wallpaper, wood, and rock roughly kneaded together to form a doughy humanoid body, almost like a golem. It roared at his response, and charged at him as the man brandished the sword in his hand.

"geez this guy looks like one of the jesters the king of naugoa has perform silly things to entertain him ' Ilsa said, watching the costumed mans antics.. the term to describe the guy, was a fop, which means one who is silly, slow-witted or foolish, or at least acts it. and this guy fit the definition to a T.

Juri froze, staring at the creature fixedly, sword held ready as she stepped forward, guarding Sue and Ilsa warily as Drago and Aktio moved into position, Drago staying close to Sue as Akito and Utena both moved into ready positions on the sides of the group...

"Guys, uh... I don't think the skull is working too well. What am I looking at right now?' Sue asked, baffled. One side of the room there was a person-- at least, she assumed it was a person. He was shaped liked normal person, but he wasn't the right color of a normal person: the closest desrciption that Sue could come up with was that man was as colorful as a peacock.
Then the thing in the other corner-- which she hadn't even noticed because her brain didn't register it as having the typical characteristics of a living thing-- suddenly let out an ear splitting roar, and Sue jumped. The giant automaton of wall plaster charged at the peacock man with all the force of a train.
The man gave a hearty laugh and charged forward himself, his sword hand outstreched.
'Oh my god, he's gonna get crushed,' Sue thought in horror.
Her horror immediately turned to confusion again as the peacock colored man suddenly moved. No-- moved wasn't the right word. The simple laws of physiology dictated that no two legged ground creature could move the way he was moving right now. He had placed his too feet together and seemed to glide along in an effortless, friction less curve that allowed him to make a C shaped turn around the charging creature-- immediately reminding Sue of a merry go round-- causing the massive construct to collide so hard with the wall that bits of plaster shot out like shrapnel.
The man in the bizzare outfit mearly shrugged in a cocky manner. "OH, YOU NEVER DO LEARN, WALLY, YOU NEVER DO. I WOULD JUST-... what are you people staring at?"
The man had seemed notice the people who had come into his room, and he suddenly looked quite annoyed: like a child who was told he had to stop playing. "Can't you knock? There's only so often I get time off of work around here to have any fun."

The man dusted himself offóproducing dust that hadn’t been there before--and didn’t turn around as the golem began to pry itself out of the wall it had just smashed into.
“Oh, what are you all still eyeing me for? I need a break too! Time DOES still go on, regardless of space. I’m not like that busy body Sampson who can expand his work day for as long as he wants.”
The group stared at him blankly, their weapons still raised and ready to strike if the flambouyant stranger tried anything. But the man simply paced back and forth in a rather agitated manner, not the least bit concerned of the group of weapon wielders or the monstrosity that had now successfully gotten back to its feet with a roar.
“And I try to stop him, honest to god I do,” the man continued, petting his puffy beard idly as everyone else turned their attention to the large roaring wall creature.
“The man plays with fireóI don’t think the he understands the consequences of abusing his post. I say to him ëSampson, now every time you do your little rewind routine, you lower the entropy of the universe a little bit. Now, the stuff’s getting made so fast that things don’t lose their sway if a little goes missing here n’ there, but if you try to get a million things done in the exact same moment in time, that decrease in entropy will start to create problems.’ And the boss, he just-ë
He put a hand to his mouth for a moment as dull surprise lit his face, and then removed it to shoHe didn’t flinch “Sorry, I tend to ramble on when I shouldn’t,” he chuckled. “Any way, I’m glad I ran into you lot. Saves me a bit of trouble: you’re my next assignment.”

what do you mean; next assignment?' minna asked blankly.. ' this guys a few platelets short of a suit of armor' Ilsa said, staring at the strange man, who seems to get more theaterical with every sentence..

“Yes, my assignment,” he said with a merry grin. “I guess that’s the proper way of putting it when talking about the business of mortals, eh?”

Drago placed a hand across Sue's body, stepping forward.
"If you intend to do any of us harm, or in any way become a threat to us..."
He growled calmly...

are you some kind of deity, or Demon? ilsa asked. ' a god of some kind' Minna said looking at him. ' must like the form of a jester, apparently.."

The man chuckled merrily, spinning his sheathed sword in his hand like a baton.
“Oh, absolutely not!” he laughed. “You think the gods actually do there own work? ALL of it? Really? Oh,no no no no no, that would be such a massive headache! Imagine if Bill Gates was responsible for personally seeing to every little tiny detail of management. Bill Gates making the computers, Bill Gates marketing the product, Bill gates managing the middlemen, Bill Gates AS the middlemen, Bill Gates sweeping the flooróDo you see what I’m getting at? I have news for you, kiddies. All encompassing power does not exclude laziness: why would the gods do every tiny task under their sphere of influence when they could just hire employees to do it instead?”
“But I’m not here to give you a mission statement. I’m here to do my job, and that’s to give you lot a warning.”
The golem started to charge, it’s footsteps blaring around the walls.
The man didn’t react. Instead he looked mellow.
“The brass knew you all would try to get out of here: only natural, entropy and all. But you seemóI dare sayóSERIOUS about escaping. Now, that can’t happen. It’d… spoil, a lot of hard thought investments in this little project, you see. My boss has a share in it, and a lot of other powerful blokes do as well. They want a project that runs nice and smooth. I guess, in a sense... you could call me a bouncer, then."
He smiled. The Golem behind him kept chargingóand had been doing so for what seemed like an eternity. Then they saw it: somehow, someway, the room stretched out like a rubber band as he ran so he never got any closer.
“Now, scurry on back to your rooms, stay fit and tidy around that little living area we layed out for you, and I won’t have to come back and correct you. You need anything? I can provide it for you behind any of the empty doors down there, within reason. Just knock on a door and name it. But do take this seriously: I’m a nice guy. But if you keep trying to escape, me and the others are going to have to get involved here more. And believe me kiddies: you don’t want that. It wouldn’t be fun for anyone.”
He paused.
“Okay, that’s a lie: it’d be fun for us.”
He threw his head back and gave a shrill cackle as he suddenly vanished right before them.
“And one more thing,” his voice continued on even after he disappeared. “Could you take care of Wally for me? Knew you would; thanks a bunch! Do mind: he’s a bit deaf.”
The rubber-band like stretching of the room ended, and the golem charged directly at them like an angry bull.

Drago was the first to react, immediately stepping in front of the others, grabbing the creature by the head and holding it fast, his armor shifting and molding itself into a large claw where his left arm was. Still holding the golem, he chuckled.
"Guys, now's your shot. Take this thing down!"
He yelled...

ilsa and minna cast spells at the golem, knocking it back a little bit. Both girls had fought magical creatures before in their world, and this was nothing new to him...

Sue watched and listened, and what she saw in the background perplexed her. She saw the room get larger. But that couldn't be, couldn't it?
'Now's not the time. The others can tell me what happened later.'
Instead she listened to the peacock man's ramblings with a sense of unease. He wasn't insane-- after working with people with brain injuries and conditions all her life, she knew a crazy person when she heard one. It was in his voice: behind that ridiculous fluctuation of flamboyant tone, there was a weight to what he said that couldn't be faked and didn't sound paranoid or hallucinated.
As she saw Ilsa, Drago, and the others fight, she decided it was now or never. Visually agnostic or not, she was still a yellow belly, and as a yellow belly she sported claws that could rend flesh from bones.
Giving a cool exhale, she carefully jogged to the backside of the Golem and began slashing at it's ankles, hoping to help knock it over.

Juri smiled as Sue started attacking the ankles of the Golem, flipping into the air, kicking off the golem's back, and then landing behind it next to Sue.
"That was a clever move. Mind if I...cut in with a little help?"
She said, throwing a swift series of slashes into the thing's legs, which, along with Sue's strikes, caused the Golem's legs to give from under it, allowing Drago to lift it with his transformed arm, throwing it upwards into the ceiling as Utena kicked off a wall to slam it further in with a strike from her staff. The Golem remained in the ceiling, however, seeming to shift its' body to a quadrupedal form, face staring at the group...

minna wacked at the golem with her staff, while ilsa sent darts of razor sharp ice at the golem, and they stuck. ' but the golem didnt seem to be bothered much by thier attacks..

Tattered wallpaper hung from the golem's body like sheets of torn of skin. Underneath it was the dusty glint of old metal pipes, and the strange varigated orange and yellow swirls of construction wood. The only thing unidenifiable were the eyes: there was something inside the eye sockets on the twisted brick head, there was no doubt, but it didn't seem substantial. It was if as if two embers on their last breaths of life were stuck at the back of it's eye holes like the candle in a jack-o-lantern.
To Sue, the creature was just a big humanoid (now a quadruped) with blobby, unrefined features. She believed that any healthy mind would naturally be drawn to wonder about the pecularities of anything strange it encountered, and that drew energy that could be used on more constructive thought.
For example, the first thing that popped into her mind when she saw the creature suddenly take to four limbs was a young memory from when she was probably no more than six. She remembered how four footers would brag how strong they were: they were harder to knock down, harder to disorient, harder to tire, and generally could put more force into their legs than any two footer ever could. Four footer kids bragged how their parents were on the Great Valley council, and how there were far fewer two footers presiding. Her six year old self seethed with jealosuly for awhile when she heard that. She had went and asked her father: "Why can't I have four legs, like all the Threehorns, and the Longnecks, and the Spiketails?"
And her father-- the most charming man she had ever met, and wouldn't live to see the end of the year when she had asked him this-- and told her: "Hon, do you know why most sharpteeth are two footers?"
"Uh... Is it because... Uh..."
Her father tipped a wink at her, leaned in close and said to her: "They're two footers because all a flatooth would need to do to get away from them was walk in a circle. Four footers turn around about as quickly as the phases of the night circle. That's why you never see a Threehorn or a Longneck ever walking into a narrow passage way: if they hit a dead end, they have to walk backwards to get out!"
Sue's eyes shifted to the left. Even with visual agnosia, she could always recognize a hole when she saw one, and right then and there she saw a pretty big one in the wall from where the creature had tried to attack her earlier.
'Wait... it made a dent in the wall?' she wondered, blinking, and then pushed the thought to the side for a moment. She ran in front of the hole and began to wave her arms.
"Guys! Let's get him stuck!" And she felt confident in shouting this as loudly as she pleased. After all, the golem had a mouth and eyes, but no nose and, more importantly, no ears.

Drago chuckled, rolling his shoulders as his arm reformed itself to it's original shape.
"Good plan, Sue. That may just work."
He said as the others circled it...

vilsa and minna started casting spells at the golem trying to plug him into the hole. the size of it made affecting it difficult.. ' we're starting to move it ' minna groaned..

The creature
('Wally? Really?' Sue thought)
clearly recoiled from the spells hitting its body, but it still didn't seem to take any damage. Sue looked at the thing as it charged. A thought had occured to her.
Wally. That wasn't a random, lunatic name thought up by the cuckoo man in the peacock get-up: this golem, if it hadn't been obvious enough, was made of wall. But it took until now for her to realize that it wasn't just made of any wall.
'That nut job,' Sue thought, thinking back to how he seemed to be able to stretch the room like a rubber band. 'He must have used magic to make it from the wall'.
Sue looked back to the hole that the golem made.
A thought seemed to cross her eyes. As it came, it left, and she shook her head as if to get rid of it. Instead she goaded the golem on, waving her arms and hoping it would charge right at her.

minna and ilsa continued throwing magic at wally, for that was its name.. ' who the heck names golems? Ilsa said as she threw a ice blast at it..
- dont ask me, it could be worse, you could name your staffs or something like that. minna said.

The golem charged, and it was at that moment that Sue got a very bad case of 'headlights' syndrome. It was one thing to picture a creature the size of an elephant charging at you and another thing to see it. As a visual agnostic, she could recognize characteristics even if she couldn't recognize entire entities: for example, she could very easily see that this Wally chap could smear her across the floor like a bug on a windshield if it collided with her.
So she froze, hesitating slightly longer than she should. 'Move... Move!' she forced herself to think, and only made slight jerking movements. The golem was rapidly reaching the distance of no return, where she physically wouldn't be able to get out of the way in time.

As "Wally" rushed Sue, Drago and Juri sprung into action. Juri flipped over it, catching it on the blade of her sword and stalling it just long enough for Drago to enlarge his shoulder and slam into it hard, forcing it against the cracked wall...
"Are you alright, Sue?"
Drago asked, holding it pinned to the wall...

minna and Ilsa sent a fresh flurry of fireballs into the golem. ' i think it is time to fall back' Ilsa said to the others..' get out of here and regroup..

Trembling, Sue nodded. "I-I think so," she breathed, swallowing. Somehow, Drago's arm was different, and he seemed to be pinning the massive golem to the wall. She dully heard Ilsa's warning and nodded, but she saw Drago and thought: how was he going to be able to get out if he has to hold down the Golem?
"Drago, let go!" Sue said as she scrambled to her feet. "I'm pretty fast-- I can make it chase me in a circle while you and the other get out. If you guys wait for me to run through, you can shut the door behind me."

Drago laughed a little.
"Not a chance, Sue. I'm not leaving you behind. In fact..."
His arm yet again seemed to change form, his right hand enlarging into a sharp claw before he slammed it around the golem, pinning it as his hand detached from his wrist.
"That should hold him."
He chuckled a little...

ilsa grabbed sues arm and dragged her towards the exit,minna was right behind them ' move move' she shouted.

Sue's left eyelid twitch. It almost looked as though Drago had detached his arm. But that would be silly, right?
In honesty, she was almost glad when Ilsa suddenly pulled her away so she wouldn't have to think to hard about it. Sometimes what was lost in the translation of her visual agnosia was better left lost. 'Where do people like Drago, Ilsa, and Minna come from?' she wondered.
"R-right she stammered rushing to the door as she looked over her shoulder to make sure Drago would follow. The golem was clearly not happy about getting pinned, and was thrashing around like a glass lizard with it's tail cast off.

minna and ilsa hurried down the stairs towars the floor below. ' time to regroup and think of another plan' ilsa said as they ran.. ' we need to find a way out of here..

Drago backpedaled rapidly, as Akito flipped aside out of the room, Juri and Utena close behind them. The instant the group was out of the room, Drago flicked the stump of his arm, recalling his arm as he shoulder tackled the doorframe, Akito and the others joining in until the ceiling gave, barricading the room off.
"That...let's not do that again any time soon..."
Drago chuckled, as Utena latched on to Minna, and Juri moved next to Ilsa, both panting a little...

ilsa headed down the stairs to the lower floor.and stopped inside a room, followed by minna, utena and Juri.

Sue followed inside as well, shutting the door behind her and feeling a creepy stillness now that all the banging and shouting and charging golemns were behind them. She felt her hands shaking quite badly as she leaned against the door, looking off to the wall and wrapping her arms around her chest.
"What was... what?" she uttered in an almost tragic laugh. "What the hell? Can someone tell me please what's going on?"
She looked to the others, vainly hoping they would have an answer. While she doubted that any creature that ever is, has, or will exist would call what just happened 'a normal occurrence' for them, she was hoping that her friends would tell her that they at least had an idea of what had just passed.

ilsa was being held tightly by juri.. ' um.. why are you hugging me so tight juri?' she asked. ' as for what that was.. ' lets just say that was a spirit designed to keep us here..

Drago sighed, a hollow rattling sound from inside the armor.
"I haven't got any idea...but it was definitely some sort of magically-animated entity...and not a friendly."
He said shakily...

Sue nodded overly emphatically, popping her lips and then nervously running a hand through her feathery comb. Her eyes were bloodshot.
"... Okay," she said rather softly, looking at the three with a haunted expression. "What are we going to do now? Please?"

well we cant go back up there' Minna said ' all we can do is explore the first and second floors, just to find what else is around here..

Drago walked over to Sue, offering her his hand.
"Whatever else happens here, I promise you I won't let anything bad happen to you, alright?"
He said gently, reassuringly. Nearby, Juri blushed and stepped back a little, dusting herself off some.
"I um...I was worried about you...I was trying to protect you."
She admitted sheepishly, while Utena flung her arms around Minna...

protect me? girl, thats sweet.. but you have to watch out for your own safety too' Ilsa said. Minna hugged Utena back, feeling the fauxens back, as well having her chest pressed against utenas, as the embrace continued.

Sue smiled, squeezing his hand. Wether he actually could protect her or not, it was comforting to know someone stronger than her had her back.
"Thank you," she said with a smile, she looked to the other two, frowning slightly. "It means a lot to have someone looking out for you..."
There hadn't been any tremors or noise for a few minutes.

lets head down stairs' ilsa said, after a few seconds ' we need to plan our next move, and find a way out of here

Juri smiled and placed a hand on Ilsa's.
"Yeah. Sounds like a plan..."
She trailed off, sniffing the air hesitantly.
"Does anyone else smell something...?"
She finally asked, glancing around. Unbeknownst to the group, something had begun pumping an airborne aphrodisiac into the area...

Sue sniffed. Yes. There was a smell. It was kind of nice, if a tad weird. It had the same kind of head clouding effect as taking a whiff of a fragment beer; the word 'smooth' came to mind.
She was not in a state of mind to be particularly trusting of anything she couldn't clearly identify.
"Uh... Yeah, let's skedaddle," Sue said, anxiously, and then walked right into a chalkboard near one of the walls. "Okay, that wasn't the door," she grumbled, rubbing her head. She was suprised: she usually made a small mental note of where the door was whenever she entered a room so she wouldn't 'lose' it-- she couldn't think straight. Something was wrong with the air in here. Alarmingly wrong.

Yeah, I smell it too' minna said, as she broke the embrace with utena, come on ' she said opening the door to the stairwell outside.. ' hurry guys, we need to get downstairs..

Unfortunately for the group, the same force that had pumped the area full of the gas had seen fit to remove the stairs, leaving Minna and Utena staring at a solid wall.
"Uh...that's' not normal..."
Utena muttered...

"Yeah, the air's definitely not normal," Sue sighed as she walked towards the wall that once had the door to the stairs and reached out her hand as if trying to grab a door knob. "It's from the vents, probably. Do you think it might have been from that same-" *snatch snatch snatch* She gripped emptily in front of the wall for the non existant doorknob until finally, growing frustrated, she waved her hand up an down to see if her hand would knock against it. It did not.
"... I'm missed the door again, didn't I," she sighed, then rubbed her temples. She didn't have a headache or anything-- she just felt a bit lightheaded. "Guys, please don't make fun of me, but could one of you help me to the door?"

Drago scanned the room a little.
"Odd...seems the doors have vanished..."
He mused, the gas having only minimal effect on him, as Adrian tried to shake his head clear...

they've trapped us in the room ' minna cast a purifying spell ' clarum! she said and blue light shot out of her claws.. the spell spread out through the room..

In response to the light emanating from Minna's claws, the air seemed to grow even thicker, all but nullifying the efficacy of the air-clearing spell...

Sue shook her head, as if trying to knock the scent out of her nose. "Alright, alright, let's not panic. Does anyone feel numb? Any trouble breathing? Sleepiness?" She was half tempted to make a joke about loss of vision, but checked herself. She was shocked that she was even in the mood to make jokes right now-- again, it was that smooth feeling brought about by the smell. "Oh god... Please tell me this isn't poison?" Sue asked, turning between her companions.

Drago's skull flickered for a moment, then shook side to side.
"It's not a poison...from it's composition, I would say it is an...aphrodisiac. A love potion. But...why?"
He mused...

a love potion, great.. so if you get too exposed to the strtuff, it'll blank your mind, and you'll think og nothing else but making out with your partrner'; Minna said.. ' we need to get out of here before we become love slaves!

Sue grimaced, biting on her thumb as she tried to think as furiously as she possibly could.
Okay... so the walls going to the outside of this mansion are clearly indestructible. If they weren't, one of her stronger friends would have definitely been able to put some kind of hole in it. But the interior walls during the fight with the golem were damaged by Drago and-- (what a sweet voice he has, like a clarinet's, and he's so brave and confident and-- h-hey! Focus!)-- maybe that means the magic of this place only extends to keeping them inside the mansion. But what if they changed the rules? After all, a stairway just disappeared-- that wasn't exactly an encouraging sign here. Maybe Isla knows some kind of magic spell (she's really nice to me, and she's so eager to include me with things, she's pretty she's-- Oh dear, it's already getting to me) that can keep any magical changes from happening just long enough for Drago to punch a hole through the wall.
"Ilsa? Minna? Do you guys know how to temporarily stop any changes to a preexisting charm?" she asked.

we can try but we arent exactly the most powerful mages in our world, and to make objects just go poof is high magic' Ilsa said she was staring intentkly at minna sue abnd utena before shaking free ' darn it, its already starting to effectr me..' we have to do this quickly' she said to Minna..

Akito charged at the wall farthest from the group, drawing his sword in one flowing strike and slashing at the wall, sparks flying off as he recoiled.
"Damnit...the walls are heavily enchanted! I think that...whatever is doing this wants us stuck here. But I don't think it wants us to totally lose ourselves. It's toying with us!"
He cursed softly. As Ilsa spoke to Minna, Utena turned and threw her arms around Minna, kissing her deeply...

Minna, affected by the love potion, reacted passionately, throwing her arms around Utena and put her tongue deep into the Fauxen's mouth. as she did so, she topped them over and landed on top of utena. Minnas mind was focused now on one thing; making love to Utena.

And here was yet another amazing example of her visual Agnosia in action, Sue thought. While she was looking at her friends, she could only identify two of them: Ilsa and Drago. And yet, she still knew who she was looking at. The aphrodisiac, theoretically, shouldn't work as well on a blind person because they couldn't be aroused through visual stimulus.
And yet, when she looked at people she couldn't even clearly conciously recognize, she still felt it's affect. It was both fascinating and, to her, completely unfair.
She grabbed a nearby object-- it felt metallic and heavy-- and pivoted on her heels towards one of the walls. 'I control my own thoughts, thanks,' she thought to herself, and then charged the wall, if only just to feel in control of herself for a moment. She ferried all her strength into her arms and brought the metallic object hard onto the wall in front of her.

Seeing sue strike at the wall with a sword spurred Ilsa into action, she grabbed minna sword where she had dropped it- Minna was quite busy at the moment after all, and began whacking the wall near where sue was whacking at it. the blows were hard and produced a loud bang as they landed..

After the first few strikes hit the wall, a hollow thud rang out, then a concussive force pushed the two backwards, sending Sue sprawling into Drago's arms, as Juri caught Ilsa. Akito sighed, shaking his head.
"Damn. Looks like we aren't getting out of here until our host decides to let us go."
He said coldly...

We need to keep trying ' Ilsa glared, her staff begining to glow as her anger grew. Minna, and utena were quickly moving from ' base' to base.. and the others had to turn away to to not gawk at the couple... ' i just hope we can get out of here' Ilsa said..

"Agreed," Sue said groggily as she climbed out of Drago's arms and picked up the sword again, ready to keep trying until she could try no more.

Drago nodded, shaking his head briefly to clear his thoughts as he shifted his right arm into a sharpened claw, slamming it into the wall as Akito shoulder charged the wall alongside the others. After a few strikes, the group noticed small cracks beginning to spread...

Ilsa struck hard at the cracks with magic finally being rwarded as pieces of the wall began to break off as the did so a sucking siound could be heard, as the sickening pheromone began to be sucked out, the streams became visible, a hazy smoke, and gave off a pungent smell.

ilsa continued hitting the wall, breaking off more and more of it and causing the pherone to be sucked out faster abnd faster. finally the wall gave in, and a new hallway as revealed, different from the ones they had explored so far. ' thecair was slowly clearing, much tio Ilsa relief.
- minna stirred eventually, and broke the kiss with utena, her tongue slidding out of her mouth, she looked down, and saw both of them were in thier undies, and had thrown their clothes to the side, where they had balled up in a corner.

Sue stumbled out of the hallway, gasping for breath. The most unimaginable things were running through her head. "Come on!" she called over her shoulder. She nearly had a heart attack when she saw Minna and Utena. She couldn't 'see' them, per se, but her body was reacting enough that she could sure guess what she was looking at. "Err, I- I- Um.... Just come on!" She motioned them to run out of the room, away from the pheromones.

minna and utena stumbled out, both girls coughing and wheexing, water steaming from thier faces. ilsa grabbed both of them and steadied them. juri was next out, falling to her knees ' i..thought we'd neve get out, she whimpered. ' the hallways hwas a different cooler and had a different smell from the previous one, this one smelled older..

Sue took Drago's hand and yanked him out of the room. The hallway was covered in a posh, bland looking wallpaper that sue (had she been able to distinguish it) would have reminded her of the lickable wallpaper in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. She helped Drago up to his feet with an wincing smile, and looked around at the other girls. Poor Utena and Minna looked humiliated.

Sue drew a hand through her feathery crest, her chest heaving up and down very hard. "Okay... Uh..." She licked her dry lips. "Uh... I think we'll probably need some masks, too, in case that has ever comes back. I know it.'a not a good idea to split up, but I'd feel better knowing most of the group is already safe. I'm going to need someone to go with me, though...."

Sue nodded numbly as Ilsa volunteered. Her arms were crossed tightly across her chest, her face a contortion of pure misery. Why did this have to happen to her? To any of them? They never did anything wrong. She missed her home with the long doorhandles that were easy to find. She missed her nice chair and her old stereo that that played Django Reinhardt and the Beatles. For all she knew, the sweet sound of her nuages CD as that she had fallen asleep listening to the other night was the last thing she ever heard of her lovely home. Now she was in a world where magic was real and brutal, a world where some psychopath found the idea of nearly killing her and then pumping her full of chemicals and screwing with her nervous system to be incredibly entertaining.
And that's when the last of her defenses broke.
Sue put a hand over her face. "W-we just need s-something to keep us safe a-and..." A sob slipped out. "I... I can't!" Sue cried as she turned and ran down the hallway, weeping openly in fear embarrassment, frustration, and helplessness.

Ilsa followed after her, finally catching gtto her in front of an open door, which revealed a coze a warm fireplace setting. the feel of reklaxing heat was sioothing aftfter being trapped in the choking love poition. ' come on sue ilsa said gently.. consoling her' lets head in and sit by the fire. cant you feel the heat from it. its very inviting and you need to calm down. she reached out and took sue by the arm.

Sue caught her sob in her throat, swallowing it and silencing it. She didn't want to cry in front of Ilsa. She wanted to feel like she was brave enough to be in a group with her-- even if it wasn't entirely true.
She felt Ilsa's hand on her arm, and her own hand went up to cup it close to her. That felt better. She could look Ilsa in the eye now, despite the tears. She was giving her an inviting smile, so sweet and so soft. Ilsa nodded.
"Yeah... the fire's nice," she said lowly, her eyes drawing to the floor. Her heart was beating fast. She felt hot-- and she wasn't sure it was the fireplace that was causing it.

Sue looked into the fire too. Fire was another thing she could always recognize despite her visual agnosia. Her shoulder slowly slid against Ilsa's, her weight gently pressing against hers. If she seemed uncomfortable with that, Sue told herself, she would stop immediately. But Ilsa didn't seem to mind.
He beady, smooth scales clung to the light feathers on her arm. She could smell the faint fragrance of perfume and sweat coming off the enchantress. Something was slipping away from her, she realized. Her inhibitions.
"You think so?" Sue asked, turning to look at Ilsa. looking into her brown eyes. They were lovely. "You really think so?"

Gravity seemed to lift when Sue heard Ilsa say she was beautiful, and then nearly seemed to reverse (to Sue, at least) when Ilsa asked if she wanted to kiss her. She looked at Ilsa with honest affection. Her throat couldn't produce the word she wanted. She simply nodded her head, and leaned in. Nervousness was etched on her expression, yes, but also excitement and even a touch of honor. Her tongue lightly flicked over her lips, as Sue felt her face come within an inch of Ilsa's, so close that she could feel her breath on her face.

ilsa pressed her red lips to sues and felt the dino react in surprise and tension. ilsa put her arms around sues neck and began to hold the kiss. within seconds ilsa put her tongue into sues mouth.

Sue's eyes widened as she felt the electric sensation of soft lips touching against her own. It was warm, and wet, and somehow very primal. She kissed back by pressing her own lips into Ilsa's and opening her mouth slightly so their lips cupped. Every movement and bit of friction between their lips gave her feathery shudders in her belly.
Then Sue felt a hot, slick something dip into her mouth, as if it was sticking it's head into a door without fully going in. The dino's cheeks went scarlet, and she gasped slightly into the kiss. Her heart pounded. 'I could do it too,' Sue thought to herself, and that thought became action as she let her own tongue move up and gently touch against Ilsa's.

As he was about to throw the Kit·b-i-Aqdas away, he paused, looking at a book right next to it. Atkito leaned forward. "What did you find?"

"You're not serious about someone seeing us, are you?" Sue said as her eyes caught some object-- it was brown, had four legs, a back, probably a chair-- and wondered if they were alone in these hallways.

"I don't know who will read this-- I don't know if I've been kidnapped, killed, or victimized by some extremely elaborate and exceeding cruel prank, but there doesn't seem to be any way out of this house. None. I have yet to see a whisker of a window or a coat hanger in this... place. Only wall after wall and hallway after hallway, as if I were a mouse in a mansion designed by D-" Drago paused as his face scrunched up in the pronunciation. "D-Daedelus? Daedelus?" shrugging his shoulders, he looked over his shoulder to the others. "This is... pretty familiar, isn't it?"

Drago was a little bit flustered by everyone trying to read over his shoulder. He always hated that: it was uncomfortable for someone to be looking over you in any situation.
"I have food and water here, so I suppose my life isn't at risk. I found this ledger in one of the many kitchens that dot the map of this place. It's strange... this was the third time I that I ran across a kitchen just as I got hungry."
Drago shrugged his shoulders. "It goes on like that for awhile: just descriptions of the walls, where he's from, his family, how he can't get out..."

Drago nodded, his brow furrowing a little, as he turned to the last page with writing on it. There many, many pages in between.
"Can't believe I've run across this old thing again," Drago read. "How many years has it been? Lord, too many! What a funny fellow I was! Ah, times changes. People change, really. Oh well... I'll put this little number in the library. Maybe I'll write down what happens to the new batch we're bringing in today-- just for old time's sake."
Drago blinked, and turned his head to the others. "Uh huh... what?"

There was a loud clatter somewhere in the house, like fireworks going off. Everyone stood silent for a moment.
"We don't know what direction that came from," Drago said, answering before anyone could ask. His hand did seem to fall down to his sword.
"What if it's Ilsa and Sue?" Minna asked impatiently. Drago looked at her.
"What if it's not?" Nobody answered. Hands fell to weapon holsters. Minna merely stood crossarmed, looking at Drago with irritation. She looked like she was about to start a fuss over this decision, when Drago frowned at the book.
"Guys? I took a peak at the pages before the end?" He looked up at them. "They turned blank."

It hit them from above without a single note of warning, as if it had been clinging to the ceiling like some large, invisible gecko. It happened so fast that Ilsa, a girl who did not have visual agnosia, had about as good an idea of what it was as Sue was. But it flailed like an angry cat, jolting them both so badly that Sue collided with the nearby wall. Multiple things were happening in each second-- too fast for her to think.

- the speed of the attacker threw Ilsa to tye ground. the blows came so quickly, one upon another that itwas all ilsa could do to cast a defensive spell " Her attacker seemed to have brown dur and glowing blasck eyes, but that was all she could see in the brief split second glances she was permitted between attacks.

Sue would have probably been frozen until the thing killed her if it weren't for Ilsa's presence. She quickly ran over to the nearest thing in the hallway-- ANYTHING-- and grabbed it. It was heavy, had a metal feel to her fingers, and was brass colored. Without even stopping to try to think of what it was, she threw it over at the creature. The thing she threw, Ilsa would later tell her, was what she had assumed was a lamp shaped like a tank shell. As it happened, it was more than just shaped like one: as soon as it hit the creature, it exploded in a thunderous crash that knocked her backwards and made her ears ringing painfully. The thing hissed like a cobra, clearly in pain.
"Ilsa!" Sue gasped, worried she was caught in the blast.

the impact threw ilsa backkwards, stunning her briefly, the impact shatttered the ward around and she landed awkwardly, but at least the thing, whatever it was had stopped attacking her ' Frita Twinnis! she souted and ywo blue ice shatrd shot into the smoke emanating from the shell Sue had thrown at the creature. Renewed hisses told her she had found her mark, not waiting for the creature to recover she ran over towards Sue and grabbed her by the arm " Run! while the smoke blocks its visiion! Ilsa said sharply to her.

Utena and Juri got into crouched positions as they glared fearfully at the door. utena couldnt help but divet her eyes towards minna, she blushed thinking about all that they had done together while under the love potions influernce, and she was embarassed. 'I cant even enjoy what we did together..' she thought.

Shoving a hand in his pocket and shaking his head, Drago put the book in his jacket pocket and sighed. "Alright, alright, let's not get too wound--" He blinked at Utena and Juri for a moment, and then continued as if pretending not to have saw them.
"Yes, let's not get to wound up. That noise sounded far away-- if something was big enough to cause it, we'd probably hear it coming."
He looked at the others. He was waiting for one of them to suggest what to do next, because as it stood, he had no idea what to do.

Before she even knew what happened, Sue felt herself pulled along by Ilsa. She heard the thing behind them catch it's breath, and it gave a horrible deep hissing sound. It reminded her of the sound a king Cobra makes when it's angry. But the hissing did seem to get farther away-- as Ilsa said, maybe it's vision was blocked, either way, she didn't want to look behind her to find out. She may not be able to pick out what she'd see as a whole, but she'd be able to pick out the parts-- and she had a feeling if she saw the thing's eyes, that'd be enough to scare her right out of what little wits she had left.

Ilsa turned basck and fired off a couple blasts froom her staff and then ran as fast as she could dragging Sue along with her. he turned a corner into a new haklllway and turned down it.

Sue felt herself fall into the closet with a thud. Pain raced up her left buttock and into her lower back as she landed on something long and hard. It was painful enough that she instinctively reached down to pull it out from under her. It was long, handled, and heavier on the front-- she didn't know what it was, nor did she give it much time to come to her. She heard the creature's hiss coming on strong at the other side of the door.

Just before the creature could lunge at her, the wall next to it lurched forward, crashing into the creature like a football lineback. The thing gave a squeal of pain and angry fright. It was Wally, the golem that had tried to attack them earlier.

Ilsa slammed the door behind her just before the creature could attack her. She cast a light spell revealing that she and Sue were in a small closet. the cries of the creature outside indicated it was fighting something " best stay in here for a bit until i goes away' Ilsa Said to to Sue.,

Sue nodded numbly, still holding whatever it was she was holding in her hand. As he thumb explored its surface, it hit something. Suddenly, the thing extended. "Ah! Okay, okay," Sue said, trying not to hyperventilate. "What's going on out there? How do we get out of here, Ils?"

that thing is.. fighting something else.. going out there is not a good idea.. for now.. what di you have there' she looked at the item Sue was holding " looks likea cane of some sort. Could make for a useful weapon.. but for now..' she noticed how close the two of them were tiogether and smile ' sue.. while they are out fihghting.. do you wanna make out again? she asked

Ilsa gave in to her desires and pinned Sue against a nearby wall and began to majke love to her.

Outside of the closer, minna abnd the others had decided to go check out the sounds of the noise, and had found the golem wally and the creature fighting. minna had shot fireballs at both of them and the battle was joined.

"Hey look! I found Wally!" Drago cried as he transformed his arm into a giant mallet and lept into the fray without a second thought. The blow connected with Wally's back, who distractedly tried to swipe him away. Just before Drago rolled out of the way, he caught a glimpse of a truly hideous looking cat creature with furious looking eyes and frayed whiskers. When he finished his role, the creature was gone. "Where did it-" he was about to say, when the creature reappeared next to him and took a huge swipe at him, knocking him away. He was distracted: he could hear Sue's voice coming from the closet, making loud moans. "Hurry!" Drago roared. "Sue must be hurt!"

"Oh my god, Ilsa!" Sue quailed in ecstasy.

ilsa tensed as she heard voices outside. she was sweating now from exhertion, her body entwined with sues. at the sound of minnas voice ilsa broke from sue.. ok.. ok.. thats enough ' she panted softly ' get dressed.' she said going over and putting her clothes back on.
Minna was firing spells at both wally and the cat creature.

Sue blushed fiercely, gathering her clothes together as quick as she could, repeating in her head that it was a pretty dumb idea to be doing that kind of thing right outside a fight between two terrible beasties.
"R-right," she panted, soaking in sweat. Thinking about damness in her underwear and how to avoid it, her hand landed once again on the object from earlier. She paused, picking it up. It was heavy-- heavy enough to be a dangerous weapon if it was swung at someone-- but it was so balanced it didn't feel cumbersome. Not thinking, she pressed the button on the handle, feeling it retract to it's smaller state, then quickly slid into her underwear and pants.

Wally was flailing around, trying to attack the creature while avoiding the others. The creature seemed to be doing the opposite-- it was trying to attack the others while trying avoiding getting hit by Wally.

minna continued firing at both creatures, and Utena and Juri slashed at wally wuth their claws.
_ ilsa opened the closet door and jumped into the fray " where the heck have you guys been?' Ilsa Asked Drago asked " We've been Running from these things' she added as the two draconesses combined their powers.

"Oh were have we been? Where have WE been!?" Drago shouted as he tried to jab both wally and the creature with arm lances, both failing. Sue limped out next to Ilsa, holding her arm to her side and wincing. Wally eventually roared and hit the cat monster in the face. It fell to the ground, limp as a rag.
Wally turned around, dumbly looking at the charging power of Juri and Minna's attack.

the combnied blast shoved wally into the wall ' lets find someplace safe to get caught up shhall we? Juri said to Ilsa as the Fauxen trurned and began running the other way..' you were supposed to get food and supplies..'
well we didnt find any, and we had that cat thing chasing us wilynilly all over the place.. and Sue got hurt' Ilsa said ato her as she ans Minna joined the rush to get away from wallly.

Sue nodded. "It's not too bad," she insisted, trying to act as best as she could. "Nothing's broken, or anything. I just slipped on some stairs." It was a poor excuse, but it was the best she could come up with at the moment. Thankfully, she had hidden the heavy cane in the makeshift sling she was pretending to cradle her arm with, which convincingly made it shudder. "Either way, I agree-- let's go someplace safe."

Minna lead them down the hallway to a pair of ornate doors ' she threw them open reveaiing a large fireplace and rows odff bookshelfs. this was not the same room, minna and the orgthers had been in, and the fire looked inviting ' Alright Everyone inside" Minna said motioning to the others to enter Juri and Utena went in first..

Sue scrambled in obediently, seeing the fire in the corner and, again, was able to recognize it instantly. As the final person shut the door, they heard a thud as something large slammed against the door, followed by the catlike squealing of the thing that had been outside. "They... can't get in here, right?" Sue asked.

we should be fine in here' Minna said taking a deep breath as he made her way towards the warm fire in the middle of the room. ' so whats the plan/ how the heck do we get out of here?" she asked the others.

"Why can't we just fight our way out?" Drago asked. "We've taken that golem before-- I doubt that cat thing will be any harder to stop." Sue kept pretending to cradle her arm, the strange baton/cane sill in her makeshift sling. How long could she keep this faÁade up, she thought? Eventually, someone was going to need a hand, and it was going to look really awkward if her arm was suddenly fine in a moment when it was needed.
"I don't think that's such a good idea," Sue said, reflecting this anxiety.

qwe need time to rest and recuperate' Utena said as the banging began to quiet down. "We ned to find food, and some clue as to get out of here.Juri put her aerms around her friend and gheld her to her. " We'll be fine ' she said soothingly. calm down.

Drago shook his head and slunk to the door. "We keep saying that to ourselves," he muttered loud enough for the others to hear. "... Alright. It's probably getting late. We can sleep in the library for the night. Maybe I can find a useful book in the mean time..."
