No, there is not a rule against given as many votes as one wants (always with an explanation text) to any member. The only exception is voting for oneself which may be done, but only in one case during the vote.

Fair enough, I guess. I just see users cast their six votes for only three different people in total and it seems like that would skew the votes a little bit. Makes it far more likely that at the end of the day there are fewer winners than categories.

I do see the problem, but I'm afraid it is something we have had in the past too. Thing is that additional rules to discourage members from giving too many different votes to the same person will also further complicate the (already complex) voting; especially when a given member simply deserves recognition in many different fields. Discouraging or prohibiting members from voting for a candidate based on frequency of various votes rather than actions of the respective candidate is likely cause a lot of frustration.
I want to encourage everyone to take the time to reread through some of our older threads to make up your mind and not take too much inspiration from preceeding votes only so our list of nominees is widened a bit; but with all that it is often a case of credit where credit is due, even in different categories.
