How is it that those two numbers are different? If we subtract the reply number from the start number (to get 3578), then shouldn't it be the same as your initial correction (3548)? Or does this mean that your initial correction was still wrong somehow?
I think I made a mistake of my own at that point. I searched for mistakes like this:
I always looked at the last number of a page. At the end of each page should actually have the same digit number. I mean, for example:
last post page 48: 7,580
last post page 49: 7,530
last post page 50: 7,481
You can see there was a mistake on page 50. Then I searched for it and found it. So I noticed the discrepancies. Why it still does not match with the reply number is a mystery to me. Probably a mistake was made somewhere, where 10 was counted down instead of 1 or something like that.
Note that I see 50 posts per page and not the default 20. I've changed that in my settings.
