*Moans in dispair*  I can't do Ducky. :(   The only pictures I have of her you need to zoom on and then she get's all blurry.  Here's what happens when I don't even have a picture to look at before I begin to get a feeling of what they look like:

How bad is it?

Other the the nose part it looks pretty good, just have to work on that beak a little bit more then you have it :)

Also it takes time to draw new things :) trust me on that one, it does with me on a few things.

Yeah.  I guess.  I did this in about 5 minutes.  I don't even have a place to draw.  I'm drawing these things on a closed laptop.

I'd also recommend you take more time on these drawings rather than just five minutes.  You might be more pleased with the results. ;)

Wayne already touched on my only criticism--Ducky's beak, and its only because it doesn't match the angle at which the rest of her face is in.  Other than that, you've got the coloring down pat.  I'd pace yourself better and try not to rush.  Make revisions if you have doubts.  All the stuff I pasted in the art section was not a first-time thing....a couple of them had revisions for sure, and that last sketch I just posted last night took twenty minutes because I had to keep erasing Lutra.    That's why you draw lightly (and I mean lightly) with pencil first. ;)

It's hard.  Drawing can get real boring, real fast with me.  I'm used to doing things that require fast thinking and problem solving skills.  Like repairing computers and taking things apart.  I'm afraid that drawing just doesn't have the same thrill for me.  I do erase quite a lot.  The previous one of littlefoot, I had to erase so many times, I had to edit it in photoshop to get all the erase marks off. :lol

Then again, I know your feelings. I had some trouble drawing Ducky. Do you remember my very first Ducky drawing? (the one where she's holding a small flag saying "By: Lain_EX") Someone threw it away to the trash but I drew a better one. You can get better drawing her. Is just a matter of practice.

I'll practice her more but first, I wanna try some other characters.  Truthfully, Ducky has to be the hardest.  her face is so detailed.

Why would someone do that?

*thinks for a moment* I know why, 'cause someone hates LBT and I know who was the responsible for this crime. <_<

I have a very good suggestion that helps me to take my time in drawing. I ususally listen to music as I draw, the ones I listen to are the ones I like the most so hardly get boried but when I draw though, I draw cause I feel like it and really want to do it for something special.

Work a bit slower if needed do bit by bit and take time in it, you will be suprised at the end how it comes out :) most drawing takes me about a hour to do, but that only the weak lines I draw that can easily be rubbed up if you make a mistake and do it over again.

Keep your work up, your improving :)

I tried to draw Shorty for some odd reason.  I was trying to draw Littlefoot in the beginning, but then when his face looked kinda screwed up, I just changed it into Shorty.  Anyway, how do ya like it?

Well it always best to do it in pencil so you can rub out your mistakes. but this one turned out into your favour :) nice work, but you should put something like.

As a topic name that way you don't have to keep creating topics for your art. That what I've done with my art work. Topic under Threehorn Art it has all my art stuff in quite a few of the pages. on it. if you go to the beginning set of pages.

I didn't think I was worthy.

I'm gonna get some place to draw.  This laptop screen isn't working too well.  I'm still bad at drawing feet and legs though.

I did do it in pencil.  This is a photocopy.  I never color my original.  That way I can modify it.

Nice one :yes
I really like the look on Shorty's face which befits him very well plus once again it is freehand.
The legs are getting better too as you now draw toes which overlap each other. There is still room for improvement, but you are improving rapidly!

Anyone posting art here may open a thread with the own name in it. If you create such a thread, should I merge all your previous picture threads with the new thread so all your art can be viewed in one place?

That would be nice.  Thanks for the offer!

I hope I will adventually master getting the feet and legs right.  I'm sure a better place to draw and decent paper would improve the quality of my work significantly.  I'm using freaking printer paper I take from inside the printer.  It's all I have.

Okay, now your LBT fanart can be viewed in one thread plus I took the liberty to get rid of too over self-conscious titles for a more neutral one ;)

Well, we don't see much "Shorty Art" around here, that's for sure. :^.^: Seeing someone make a drawing of Littlefoot's adopted brother is quite a treat for us Gang of Five members. :)

In fact, this is the first time I've ever seen someone draw Shorty.  I guess he's not a very likeable charcter to draw. :P: Anyways, nice work!  Keep it up! B)

I'm quite sure Threehorn made a Shorty drawing before, but I think landbeforetimelover's is the first freehand Shorty I came accross. As for myself I'm not exactly a fan of the tenth LBT movie which may be why I never drew any LBT 10 characters. In general the "survivor" kind of character which Shorty was probably meant to be (survivor of hardships one would suspect too hard to handle for the character who turned rather snappy in the process) might have been a good concept (though not a totally new one in LBT) if he hadn't given up much of his characteristics in the presence of Bron (whom Shorty adopted as a father while I don't think Bron adopted him as a son by the time of LBT 10) and if his turnabout hadn't come just a little too suddenly for my taste.
Shorty could have been a very interesting character, but altogether he came across a bit like a mixture of Hyp and Cera with not too much new about him.
