FIFA World Cup 2006

It's more or less a month away, what are your countrys expectations for the tournament and who do you think will win?

I sure hope Germany won't be kicked out too early. Otherwise it would be such a blow for the Germans' battered morale that mass emigrations are to be expected

Lol, I believe germany will pass the group stage but I dought they'll reach the final... I really hope Portugal do, but if it's not Portugal to win the World Cup than it better be England or the Czech Republic, Brazil don't stand a chance in my point of view

I have very, very little idea of soccer / football. However, Brasilia is the team which one the World Cup most frequently. While the championship is certainly not a decided matter I do think you are wrong to think that Brazil doesn't have any chance at all. I don't see why they wouldn't.

But yeah, Brazil is very strong forward, their defence is a bit problematic, but still I believe that under normal circumstances they'll finish 3rd or 4th... football would just become boring if Brazil won everything.. still It's just what I think, I'm probably the only guy in the whole world who doesn't think much of Ronaldinho -_-

I think the Us has a chance they ffinished 8th in 2002. Although they are in a tough region, I think they'll advance.

I must admit, I'm not one to follow Soccer/Football to any extent, but I'll cheer for whoever the GoF cheers for!
