WARNING: GRAPHIC GORE AND SOME LANGUAGE IN THESE VIDEOS
Pterodactyl
A man is ripped in half and carried off

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BQaEuqm298...tailpage#t=121s

And this death too, a man has his insides ripped out of him by the Pterodactyl nestlings while he is alive. That HAS to be the worst way to die after the next one I'm going to talk about.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsR86zblFqs...etailpage#t=66s

Again, I've seen worse. This is one of the most mild movies I've seen.

Day of the Dead
The worst ways to die I've seen as of now is probably Capt. Rhodes, Pvt. Rickles and Pvt. Torrez in Day of the Dead. They are all torn to pieces and eaten by zombies while they are alive.

Torrez:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH6lVnIJG9A...tailpage#t=412s
Rickles:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH6lVnIJG9A...tailpage#t=466s
Rhodes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmQQuVZdFK4...tailpage#t=254s

Although Rhodes deserved it for what he did in the movie. He shot two main characters to death and threatened five others on many occasions with his guns.

I was watching this movie Frozen. (three friends get trapped on a ski lift during a blizzard) One of the guys attempted to jump down to go get help. He ended up landing on a patch of packed ice and suffered compound fractures. After a while a pack of wolves, having ventured in after the ski resort shut down, has smelled the blood and they kill him.
He jumps
Breaks legs

He dies
Wolves kill
That has to be the worst luck ever.

Don't know if this one has been mentioned before, but the 'Rack' trap from Saw 3 would be a pretty nasty way to go:

Since I've been in a Star Trek mood lately, let's go over some of the lovely ways you can die in space.

As I mentioned before, simply being a redshirt guarantees you a horrible death, typically at the hands of the Monster of the Week.

In Star Trek: The Motion Picture, a nameless science officer falls victim to a transporter accident.  This line pretty much sums it up:  "Enterprise, what we got back didn't live long.  Fortunately..."

In Star Trek 2: Wrath of Khan:  I shudder to think of the horrible torture Khan subjected to the scientists on that research station before killing them.  Apparently the film's novelization goes into much greater detail but I haven't read it.  Also, Spock dies of radiation poisoning.  That's a pretty lousy awful way to go.

In Star Trek 3: Search for Spock, we get treated to the lovely sight of a klingon grunt getting disintegrated from the inside out all while screaming in agony.

In Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country.  Getting shot with a phaser while floating helplessly with no gravity would be a lousy way to die.

Star Trek: First Contact: This is the first time, at least as far as I know, where we actually get to see the process of being assimilated by the Borg.  At one point a crewmen is shown writhing in obvious agony while hi skin changes color after being injected with Borg nanoprobes.

How about the admiral in Star Trek; Insurrection who gets subjected to the face-stretchy machine thingy.  Ouch.

In the 2009 Star Trek film, an early scene shows a crew member getting sucked out through a hull breach into the vacuum of space.  The camera lingers just long enough to show their flailing body bounce off a phaser bank.

Also, the entire population of Vulcan gets sucked into a black hole and presumably reduced to subatomic particles.

In Star Trek: Into Darkness... (spoiler alert!)

Ships in Star Trek use inertial dampeners to protect the crew from being pulverized by the sudden acceleration/deceleration of the ship while it's traveling at warp speed.  Keeping that in mind, there is a scene where the Enterprise is attacked while traveling at warp speed, during which a massive hole is torn in the hull resulting in several crew members getting sucked out into space.  While the ship is traveling at warp...  You go from a standstill to suddenly being exposed to the vacuum of space where you are no longer protected by the ship's inertial dampeners.  Basically, your body would be instantly eviscerated by the massive trauma.

Also, there's this lovely gem...

Khan (while squeezing Admiral Marcus's head with his bare hands): YOU SHOULD HAVE LET ME SLEEP!  (insert sickening crunching sound here)

In happens offscreen so we thankfully don't see it.  But still, that awful crunching sound, accompanied by the horrified reactions of the characters drives the point home.  Sweet dreams!

Picture removed for excessive gore. This is a forum about a kids movie and while we follow a policy of as little admin intervention as possible we discourage any attempts to make this forum a place for masses of blood and gore images.

In "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" we have the oh lovely scene of Judge Doom taking an innocent shoe toon and slowly lowering it into the Toon Killing Acid known as Dip.  We even get a brief shot of how it effects said toon, before we cut to the horrified faces of the human on-lookers.  Simply put, nothing remains of the toon.  What a way to go!

How about A Bug's Life, where the main villain, Hopper, is swallowed whole by a baby bird?  Even better, we get to see it from his point of view.  The digestion process thankfully happens off-screen.

Okay, this is one I saw while binge watching stuff on Netflix.

A serial killer getting dumped into a pool of chemicals designed to dissolve the body.  On top of that, he was awake and tied up.

I can think of a few horrible ways to die in Movies:

Volcano - Deliberately jumping onto molten rock, screaming to no end while being evaporated thanks to the near one-thousand Kelvin.  Especially given that this was an avoidable, and thus pointless death had they shut down the Subway like they should've.

Volcano - The two fire-fighters who were also evaporated when Tommy Lee Jones had to leave the overturned engine to rescue his daughter who had wilfully ignored his clear instruction to remain in the car.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park - Every Single Death which you can pin squarely on the 'Heroes'.  That is, Every, Single, Death.

Noticing a pattern here?
