Another Assassin's Creed one.

"The Leaving of Liverpool"
"The Leaving of Liverpool", one of the pub songs in Assassin's Creed Rogue.  The funny thing is that for a series that for the most part tries to be historically accurate, this song is seriously out of place.  The game takes place in the early 1700s but the song mentions California which hadn't been discovered yet.  Also, the song itself dates back to the mid 1800s so it's about 150 years out of place here.  Still an awesome song.
I also like a lot of the Assassin's Creed ones!

This is also good. It's the boss fight theme in Jurassic The Hunted.
The "Raptors" theme is good too. I like a lot of music in that game, for some reason.
Growing up I was a big LBT fan and had seen all movies and TV series episodes. On the forum, I was formerly known as Hypnobrai until Nov 11, 2017.

In recent years, I have gained an interest in the production of The Land Before Time, particularly the deleted scenes of the original film. New discoveries have been made in the last few years and continue to be made, so I feel that it is a good time to contribute.

I have always loved sharpteeth more than any other creatures in the franchise, especially the fourteenth film's Carnotaurus, the fifth film's Sharptooth, and especially the original Sharptooth.

I am a former administrator of the LBT wiki, having been active from 2017 to 2019.

Here's a good song from another classic 80's game.

Here's one I want to share. Many final stages, levels or rounds have epic final music. It makes you feel you're almost near the end, you progressed a lot, you're about face the true evil leader, you're about to save the world and there's no turing back since you've come so far.

The 1997 scrolling shoot-em-up Taito game, G Darius, has an awesome soundtrack, probably one of the best. The music does more than prove to be awesome, they fit all the stages very well, and they even tell a story without the use of dialouge. It's amazing

The final stage music in this game is an epic masterpiece. I remember playing G Darius on Taito Legends 2 for PS2, got to the final stage of the game while listening to it for the first time, not only it was awesome, it also blew me away for how incredible it is. I felt like I was almost there, kept wondering who the boss will be while shooting away at enemies, and the music fit the stage flawlessly. The game was absolutely awe-inspiring for it's time and still is today.

It needs to be listened and heard to be believed.

The whole G Darius soundtrack is here. It's absolutely amazing, I love it and it is just awesome.

If I didn't know I would think this would be related to an ice/winter stage. Seems pretty relaxing for a stage called "Scorched Earth", though Pikmin games seems to have more subdued music. I like it.

These styles of games tend to have 2 main types of themes for their final levels. One is a more of a menacing 'oh god what am I getting myself into' type and the other is more of a encouraging 'you've almost made it, here's the final push' to pump you up. As you described it feels like the latter in this case. Cool stuff

It's been years since I've played World of Warcraft but I still love the music of the game. One that surprised me was the theme played in Grim Batol, one of the former and major Dwarven cities. The beginning of the song starts triumphantly but quickly dies down to a slow and more somber tone to reflect it's current status.

Indeed, WoW has the best soundtrack of any game I've heard! :)  The Grim Batol theme is certainly one of the most impressive songs in the game but there are countless others. I could list dozens of amazing songs in WoW but the Canticle of Sacrifice and Call to Arms are certainly some of the very best!  :wow

Oh wow that's interesting! I still keep somewhat up to date on WoW's story so I knew about Varian's death in Legion but I didn't know that they had a song dedicated to it.

Since we're still on the topic of Warcraft, probably my most favorite would have to be Invincible. Killing Arthas is one of my favorite memories for WoW and I liked the cutscene at the end with Arthas having the final conversation with his father before he dies.

Heheh, yeah, I guess when taken out of context they're all pretty relaxing! What I particularly like about the scorched earth track is that it has some creepy/slightly discordant undertones that add to the strangeness and mystery of the stage. This, for instance, is the track for the ice/winter stage overworld:

Comparatively much lighter fare :smile

It doesn't get much better than Arthas or Invincible.  :smile Icecrown Citadel was a great raid even if I preferred Ulduar due a better atmosphere but I agree that the ICC cutscene was one of the best ones in the game because of the great writing and the relief that Blizzard didn't initiate any stupid redemption story for its best villain.  Overall, WoW has been the best game of all time for me even if neither am I playing it right now.  :p

I may have obviously grown up around Donkey Kong, but lately I've been attached to the music from the Shutokou Battle games (known as Tokyo Xtreme Racer in the US). I smashed Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero twice on my PS2, and I managed to get most of Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 (Shutokou Battle 01) beaten, only to run into that infamous money glitch that the US version has.  :(petrie

Here are my top five favorite tunes from the Shutokou Battle games. From top to bottom, they're fifth to first.

For all of the Lego video games I've played over the past year, I've had a few favorite pieces of music in each of them, but since many of them are almost identical to the soundtrack of the movies those games are based on, I'm not sure if I should even bother sharing them in this topic. However, the most recent Lego game I played, LEGO Batman 2, is not based on any movies or shows, so I'll share my favorite music from that particular game.

(This one plays during the level where Lex Luthor and Joker destroy the batcave.)

(This one plays in a few levels, usually at the parts where you're facing off against the giant mech known as the Joker-Bot.)

I had told myself from the beginning that I wasn't going to bother getting the game Civiliation VI, due to how incredibly time-consuming the previous game had been for me. However, after stumbling across the music that is used for the main menu of that game, I'm honestly starting to have second thoughts.

The most recent Lego game I've played was Lego Marvel Superheroes, and I really liked much of the music it had.

Here's a link to a full playlist:

Since I don't want to overwhelm this post with videos, I'll just list some of my favorites from that playlist:
Helicarrier
Exploratory Laboratory #2
Rock up at the Lock up (Boss Fight #1)
Rebooted, Resuited #1
Red Head Detention #3
Juggernauts and Crosses (Boss Fight)
Taking Liberties #2      <<{this one is my most favorite}
Rapturous Rise (Boss Fight)
Magnetic Personality (Boss Fight)
Titles (not on this playlist, but I did find on another playlist):

I don't really play it, but Final Fantasy has some great songs that make me want to own the game. As said before, I haven't played a single FF game in my life, but I would be ready to buy it just to listen to that sweet music.  :) Another game's soundtrack that I absolutely love is Halo, it's so well done. Then of course there is also Skyrim. That game was just something else.

To be honest, I think the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U had the best video game music out there, because it was very nostalgic to listen to today.

And I’m being serious.  Every application that was built-in, including the shop, had a special piece of music.  It was so amazing how Nintendo was able to do this.

Too bad the Switch is just silence though…

This theme which plays during one of Red Dead Redemption 2's epilogue missions.  I was bummed out from Arthur's fate and then I was treated to this.  Hell yeah!  John Marston's back!

I have all those systems, and I agree, the Switch needs more music.

Every Mario Kart song gets stuck in my head after doing a level. And Just Dance (obviously :p) gets lots of songs in my head. This was an activity my family would do for physical activity in the winter.
