Thanks. I had to give my char of the tourist someone to talk to, and wanted to rp Mim better to get a better feel of her personality. And with the tourist I have more freedom then if I had done the doctor.

I'm bringing in my character Stripetail thsat I use for various plays and I'm also vbringing in characters from Scooby Doo, which is one of my fvorite cartoons. I'm laughing at the utter randomness.. :P:

With the world going to be destroyed, sadly, the tourist would go. He'd not want to stick around and have perhaps Mim or himself get injured. Oh well. I do have to let the characters do what they would do.

my characters immortal, and besides the cafe is on time rift which would protect it against the destruction of the outside world. the cafe would literally become a tiny world, floating in space..

I don't do immortal characters, and likely the tourist does not know of the cafe's safety. No reason he would now of that. And as I said, I have to do what the characters would do. Besides, if he did someone how know he'd be stuck in the cafe cut off from his tardis.

Just be clear My character's not a god, he's doesn't knoe everything, nor is his power limitless.. He just happens to very skilled at magic, much like Gandalf,. i like your sig of gandalf, by the way...

Thanks. I had no picture to upload so had to go through the ones available here. I liked this one the best of the ones there.
My tourist character is about the same power level of the doctor. A good right cross would likely knock him out like it would the doctor. Though he has handy gadgets most of them I would not use in a serious rp, like the cosmic rod. I enjoyed the rp, sorry I had to leave it. Though being a straight man type in rl I had run out of the guffy stuff my char could have said.

its funny how avatars make me picture people.. I do kind of picture you as Gandalf sitting behind a computer desk roleplaying LBT.. silly, I know. but I'm just being honest XD

I'm not to silly myself. I'm pretty much a straight man. Though I guess it's good the tourist left since I'd run out of ideas. Guess it was a good coincidence the world got destroyed at that point.

The world hasn't blown up yet and even if it has, everyone insides oblivious.. :D We haven't made it clear yet whether the world DID blow up.. :P:

The tourist certainly thinks so so it's entered in whatever computer his tardis has that that specific time quardinate after that time is unsafe. The character would do that. I don't violate what the char would do, unlike most of the folks I have encounted who rp in rl and on mushes/mux's.

That's the thing with silly rps there are no rules.. Heck we have Sith LOrds, wizards, ans characters from Scooby Doo all sitting in the same cafe.. and all sorts of mayhem is breaking out among them..

thanks. One thing I'm a bit of a stickler on is one-liners in RPGs. oneliners sap the energy of the story and don't give the other partciants much to go on..3 liners minimum should be the minimum effort..

No, no, it's just from experiance. Whenever's there's a major lull in posting, I always get worried that the RPG will die, no matter how irrational the fear or how short the lull. I've had it happen millions of times before.

I'm sorry, but using quotationg marks would really mess up the character. Perhaps I could use commas.

there are alternatives.. such as initializing text, bold, or underline. though quotation marks are a necessity when having dialog in a story. No matter who the character is.
I suppose you could also use brackets (like how they use them in comic books when translating a certain language into readable forms)

It wil take you manny 69 pay periods at 80 hours per period, at $10 to pay off your bill. there are 52 weeks in a year, thats 26 pay periods. so do the math that's over 2.5 years of work..

I went on ahead and moved the RP into the finished RP section.. its so nice to have another one to add to that list of 'FINISHED' RP's
It just makes me sad that there are more unfinished than finished =( such great stories that had potential... well,most anyway XD
We'll be awaiting the sequel, Nick.. post when you can and take your time..I'm in no rush :)

It would had been so random yet funny that they discovered Chong was wearing a mask...and beneath that mask was *add dramatic DUN DUN DUN music* Dick Cheyne!
but it would had been far too random XD that, and I wasnt playing their parts in the RP

Unfinished rp, brings up another maybe idea. If some folks who started them are still here maybe they may want to restart them, or pick up where they left off, since there may be more rp folks here then before.
Also others may want to start an rp based on the same ideas the unfinished rp.
