Character Discussion / Re: Ali

I don't know if this was discussed already, but did anyone else think Ali's herd was a cult?

it's been awhile since I saw the fourth movie, but I remember getting some strange vibes from the Old One

and the way they moved about from place to place and implied the possibility of the Great Valley falling just kind of sent me messages like "the end the near!"

idk, I just remeber getting some doomsday vibes from them, that's all..

what do you guys think?

rejoice, fellow LBT lovers, FOR I AM REBORN!

words cannot begin to describe how sorry I am for going inactive for several whole years without so much as giving a reason as to why..

I got scared when my first writing got ONE PIECE of criticism and it made me rethink my whole being on here in the first place.

incredibly stupid I know, and I have regretted it ever since then; but you know what?

I changed..

a lot.

following several attempts at rebuilding my imaginary universe from the ground up; I finally found a setup that I like.

and following several emotional changes and various other struggles; I am now comfortable to come back to this beloved forum and talk dinos!

feel free to ask me more questions at my..well, questions page.

it's so great to back in the Great Valley!

question 45: I'm just not familiar with most of the post-second movie episodes, I really enjoy those that I do watch but Nickelodeon keeps pumping out a new episode every week, add onto that the fact that we don't have live TV at my house and I have to watch it at my grandmother's house makes it basically impossible to keep up

question 46: I find interests in just about everything, let's plays, no commentary walkthroughs of video games, documentaries on science, history or culture, try not to laugh clip shows, table top games, and lore videos of various fantasy universes to name a few.

question 43: I've seen what they do to you in actual surgeries..the fact that the doctors are really chill as they cut you open and do a variety of things to your insides make me think their on a level of psychopathy similar to those who work in morgues

question 44: spongebob.. I can tell what happens in every episode pre-second movie just by seeing a few seconds of footage

question 41: I would go with "Deep Water" from LBT 5 (keep in mind I've only gotten as far as that as well as a few episodes of the TV show, I know that they will get even WORSE) jeez, id rather listen to the ear rape version of the opening music of "Monsters INC" that hear that again..

question 42: Tea, mainly because I watched an episode of "Modern Marvels" talking about it as well as the fact that my dad doesn't let me drink coffee..

question 39: I always loved Tails from the "Sonic" franchise, mainly because I like his character design as well as his personality

question 40: as much as I love LBT 2, I would have to say that LBT 4 is my favorite of the movies I have seen so far. its the one that started the whole "Littlefoot x Ali" thing (of which I support whole-heartedly) as well as the movie that had Spike finally speak (that scene still gets me even though i'm not a huge spike fan), I also love the dynamic of Dil and Itchy and their utter despise for each other

question 37: I like a good mix of modern rock and stuff from the eighties and nineties

question 38: I've thought about joining one of the forums for "Warhammer 40k" because I find that universe very interesting and I like the community's sense of humor. however, no, I'm not currently on any other forum, I'm kinda slowly dipping myself into the whole "interacting with other people through the internet" thing..

I meant the browser itself, not the search engines. Browsers like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc, etc. Unless you mean that the browsers themselves don't make a difference? Anyway, I'll just move on to my next question.

oh, okay, I see what you mean. I really liked it when bing had those beautiful pictures with facts and links to other websites every day

question 35: I've never really seen much of a difference between any of them, the iPads in my house use Yahoo! , at school we use Google, my grandmothers house uses Bing, aside from differences in style of the browser I never really felt a difference..

question 36: if you ever wanna see a TRUE love/hate relationship, look no further than me and math, trying to understand something in math for me feels like playing a video game and going through a tough level that kills me over and over again because of new obstacles that pop up after dealing with the one that got me before. but then, after about a hundred, tries I get everything down pat and I can do the problem with my eyes closed.

question 32: as much as I worry, I DO tend to exaggerate.. most likely I would be staying with my family (something I already planned to do) as for jobs, well, that could go anywhere, I'm afraid to say..

question 33: yes, I went to special ed classroom in earlier years and a few times we went on a field trip to a yoga center, the woman there taught us some of the basics and also put us in there weird swings that made me feel like a baby and swung us back and forth across the room..I nearly fell asleep on that

question 34: definitely a night owl. maybe it's because i'm a Batman fan, a wannabe sith lord, or that I'm actually turning into a vampire.. I just love the feeling of cool air of darkness.

question 28 part 2: ok, thanks for better explaining what you mean. I honestly don't really know, in my English class we did a lesson in what we wanted to be after we got out of school and I ultimately chose that I wanted to be a library aide, the problem is that there are no libraries near me that I know of that are hiring. the whole world of getting a job is really overwhelming to me and I constantly worry I'm gonna end up with something crappy like Burger King because I have no desire to go to college

question 30: hmmm... I got several ideas, I could be like Brewster's Millions and just run up and down the town spending my money in the most ridiculous ways possible, throw a giant party with all my friends, donate it all to charity, or just take my family to Dave and Buster's and spend it on a ton of cards and spend the whole day playing arcade games!

question 31: yes, I know I will probably turn this forum into a warzone by saying this but I really enjoyed The Last Jedi. there were sooo many moments that made my jaw drop through the floor and into another dimension! (no, I'm not joking)

question 28: I'm not quite sure what you mean... do you mean as in "what do I plan to do after school"?

question 29: no...now that I think about it there's not a lot of rides that I like at amusement parks, I remember crying my whole way through a Noah's ark ride and another ride where you rode in kid sized air planes that was suspended like a foot off the ground...i'm a bit of a whimp.. :(petrie

question 26: I once looked it up and found out I have a lot of the symptoms related to Chronophobia, a fear of the future. I extremely hate thinking about what my adult life is going to be like, even though there is a lot of evidence to say that it will be pretty good.
I also hate being in high places where it looks very unstable, places like roller coasters where your suspended hundreds of feet in the air on nothing but a set of rails and observation towers built out of poles that shake under people's movements.

another..weirder thing is I hate being in positions where my ankles could sprain.. those are like traumatic experiences for me!

question 27: I just leave the situation and go to my room, I'll usually stay there for like an hour. I also feel like I do that more for the other person's safety because when I get angry (which is what I'm assuming you mean) I usually have thoughts of extreme violence...like.. "punching your face in until my hands are broken" kind of violence..

question 23: yes, I like food that is naturally spicy but I don't really use hot sauce that much, I also only ever like it when there is cold water around to drink (but then again, who doesn't?), also also, I NEVER even go near anything that has skeleton iconography, its a deathtrap

question 24: I guess it would be a day where I spend some time with everyone I know, both friends and family (that's the best I can give, because "perfection" is a non concept to me)

question 25: absolutely, as much I like to go through my own imagination I find it fun to see what other people can come up with, in fact, a lot of my stuff is generally inspired from other stuff in pop culture. I like to listen to audiobooks too, especially those that have sound effects and such.

as for recommendations, the "Halo" novels by Eric Nylund are pretty fun for me to read, another book is "Star Wars: Darth Plagueis" and the "Star Wars: Darth Bane" trilogy, I also like the audio books for "1984", "I am Legend", and the audiobooks for the Star Wars novels mentioned earlier

I should also mention the fanfiction writer Elise Lowing, she's an aspiring writer who's written a number of fanfics set in the LBT universe, you should check her out (just a warning though, she's seems to be really busy with her first actual novel so her stuff comes out super slow)

question 21: yes, though, I am big enough to float and I'm more inclined to do that, and yes, I love swimming and it's one of my favorite things to do over the summer.

question 22: yes, I ADORE animals (though I'm not going to go vegan anytime soon), as for which one I love the most, well, they all have traits that make them unique, I love them all equally!

Ask Me / Re: Tails77 Q&A

question 18: part 1: hmm, I genuinely not sure. on the one hand, I'm too engrained in the modern times and I would probably die of technology withdrawal. on the other hand, however, I do have a soft spot for the simpler things, and the idea of being taken out of this dark and complicated world and go to one that's far more fantastical and simple is an opportunity I would most likely take blindly.

question 18: part 2: in the hypothetical universe where I take the opportunity, I would want to be a longneck. why? well, in terms of survival your several times the size of predators and you travel in a group, only the really desperate or stupid would want to attack that. also, your always with family and/or friends.

question 19: my real life name is Robert, but everyone usually calls me Robby (spelled with a y or ie, I really don't care). I prefer the nickname because "Robert" sounds like the name of a medieval English lord to me

question 20:  :facepalm just..why? why would someone do that? pizza's already a really unhealthy food, you can't just slap something healthy on it and act like it cancels out the unhealthiness of it. it's like putting broccoli on a McDonald's burger, your not being more healthy, your just being unhealthy AND WEIRD!

question 17: generally, my hobbies are in the geeky tabletop gaming/roleplaying world, you know, "Dungeons and Dragons", "Magic: the Gathering", similar things like that. ever since I first started going to high school I've really enjoyed sci-fi of fantasy worlds and I take pride in studying the vast lore of such worlds. other things I take joy in doing is studying history, watching documentaries on basically anything, and surfing the internet to find weird stuff.

question 15: I actually took an online survey and found that it is the coyote, because I'm a bit of a trickster with a good heart

question 16: I got a number of ideas, "Mary Ellen Carter", "Broadside", "Sea Dragon", "Ocean Angel", "Poseidon's Wrath", "Blackbeard's Return", "Trident", and "Predator X"
