I've used all of the above except for brown bag and windows NT.  Never found a reason to use NT.  Now, I went from MS-DOS 5.0 to windows 95 to windows 98 to windows ME to windows XP.  The jump from windows ME to windows XP was a VERY big jump and I resisted for a few weeks after it came out, but it soon became my most frequently used OS.  But ya see, there were advantages to upgrading to XP from ME.  There really aren't any advantages to upgrading to Vista so I'll wait till Windows7.

I wanted to try brownbag, but it was so intimidating!  It looked like a code mess!  My uncle wanted to give me a shot on his old tandy desktop, but I refused.  I didn't want to screw anything up.  Of course, the fact that I was 6 years old might have something to do with that. :p

Me and my family started with MS-Dos.  It was not long after the internet was created that we went to Windows 95.  Then we upgraded to Windows 98, Windows 2000.  Then when I first got this desktop I got my first taste of Windows XP.  Finally, a few months ago, I bought my laptop, which came with Windows Vista.

From all that experience, I'll say that Windows XP is the best. :)

Comfortable with both, belive it or not.

There's something wrong with those EEEPC's.  You can get them all over craigslist for $200 and less.  It seems they're not really well liked.

I'm quite curious about Linux.
I might try it out on the PS3, just to see.
Don't know much about it anyway, could be an experience.

MS-DOS was what I started out with, version 6.20 I believe, then 6.22.  I have used Windows 3.11, but upgraded to Windows 95 on my own computer - though it was a different computer, actually.  Then, moved on up to Windows 98, and Windows 98 Second Edition after that.  I stayed with that for YEARS, before finally moving to XP.  Media Center Edition is my current OS of choice...
"And the Most High said unto Moses, Ahayah-Asher-Ahayah.  And he said, Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel, Ahayah hath sent me unto you...  This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

1953-2011...  One day, mother, I shall see you again...

Since then, Windows 7 and Windows 10. Running Win10 happily since its release :)

Can't believe I ran Vista. Must've been a very short while, because I remember making the switch from XP to Win7!
