I feel old
At least you were lucky enough not to feel that way as early as I did! I'm only 21 and I've felt old for the last few years.
You've already gotten a generous supply of "happy birthday"s here, so I'll try something else.
Today's the very special day,
Where you turn thirty one.
Don't worry a bit about your age,
Just try and have some fun.
Now's the time for chocolate,
Unless it's not your thing.
But no matter what you eat,
You're still treated like a king.
It's good that you can fellowship,
With lots of friends you know.
It's something you can always do,
Even as you grow.
Now's the time for happiness,
So forget what makes you sad.
On such a fine occasion,
How couldn't you be glad?
Because there is a birthday,
I know you're treated twice.
But two days in a row for you!?
Man, that would sure be nice.
Best wishes to a brother,
And I hope that yours come true.
But as for all your beverages,
Well, I worry what you'll do...
Sorry not to join you,
