Here is my proof that I CAN draw halfway decently if I put my mind to it:

Oh, I did others.  I did a Parasaurolophus and a Corythosaurus too, but sadly I have no way of showing them off.  One I gave to a friend of the family long ago and the other I gave to a high school friend.  Neither of which I speak to anymore.  >.<

I am kinda sorta working on a Stygimoloch though.  =D

Do you draw with a pencil and scan it in?

*nod*nods*  pencil on printer paper.  I use a strip of notebook paper folded a million different ways to smear the lead for shading...And then scan it when I'm happy enough with the end result.  This part is what takes the longest, cause I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to artsy stuff.  :3

Sounds like you have figured out a system that works for you.

I agree, it certainly does.  It adds a lot to a picture, but can be hard to do I would assume.

Awesome job! The shading and patterning of the skin really look very realistic.

Thanks you guys!  ^._.^  It's honestly been a while since I've worked on anything like this before.  If I can ever get back into it to the point of working n it a lot like I was with this pic here, then I'll see about re-doing the Corythosaur and the Parasaurolophus I have no record of now.  :p

Good luck, whether you choose to do another one or not.
