I really liked it! It's definitely a return to form for the franchise. The animation was quite nice, too.

1988 Theatrical Release / Would you call this movie "beautiful"?

Definitely. The animation and artwork are incredible; I love the subdued color scheme. It's very atmospheric, I think, and really helps to set the dark tone of the film ("darkly beautiful" is a perfect way to describe it imo). And James Horner's score is so moving; just listening to Whispering Winds is enough to bring me to tears. Honestly, I'd be surprised if someone didn't consider LBT to be beautiful.

The original Sharptooth, hands down. None of the others came close to the threat level he posed to the main characters.

I can't say that I dislike any of the songs in 7, though "Good Inside" was definitely the weakest. "Beyond the Mysterious Beyond" is beautiful, and "Very Important Creature" did a great job at showing Pterano's motivation. "Good Inside" isn't bad imo, but it's definitely average and cliche, especially when the other two songs are so good.

I was around 3 at the time, so I don't remember all that much from the first time I saw it (I'm actually not entirely sure if I even saw the original first), but I distinctly remember watching Littlefoot's mother die. I remember being confused about what was going on, haha...
According to my mom, it was her friend who gave us one of her old LBT movies, starting my dinosaur obsession that forced my parents to buy all the other movies for me

General Land Before Time / Getting to know you - LBT Style

1.) Most liked Land Before Time character - It's hard to pick just one, haha...probably Sierra. I've always loved his "I'm evil and proud of it!" attitude, especially considering the unfortunate lack of competent antagonists in the sequels. The way that he just casually suggests feeding the main 5 to the sharpteeth was pretty damn creepy; LBT really needs more villains like him. And he's a major badass, lol.
2.) Least liked Land Before Time character - The yellow bellies...ugh. Dinah and Dana were also pretty obnoxious, and I'm not fond of Mr. Threehorn, either.
3.) Most liked Land Before Time song - "If We Hold On Together," "Very Important Creature," "Always There," and "Who Needs You?"
4.) Least liked Land Before Time song - "Imaginary Friends" is cringeworthy tbh; same goes for "Yellow Belly Bounce."
5.) Most liked Land Before Time film - Nothing beats the original, obviously. Out of the sequels, my favorites are VII and IV.

Hi, everyone! I recently got into the Land Before Time movies again after 10-ish years, and now I need somewhere to talk about my obsession, lol 
I was obsessed with these movies when I was a little kid, and now that Jurassic World's gotten me into my dino phase again I decided to re-watch them all. I'm honestly so excited for LBT 14 to come out!
