Chomper eating the clam

One little, less than 10-second sequence I loved from the TV series was the bit in Search For the Sky Color Stones when Chomper and Littlefoot get pinched by the clam and the problem goes on for a bit, then Chomper just gets ticked off and eats it.  I thought it was a nice little showing of his sharptooth instincts.  He clearly wanted that snapping shell gone.

I wonder if clams were considered meat, and if Chomper ever ate another one again.

Anyone else like this sequence?

I'm pretty sure they're considered a type of meat. As for what I thought of the sequence, I didn't think it was anything special to be honest.

I don't think they showed him eating one again, but they did show Ruby eating one I think in an episode.  It was interesting to show Chomper's reaction & the others with him seemed to have gotten use to seeing him eat.

Whoops, I put this topic in the wrong category.  I thought I was in the TV series section when I posted this.  Is there anyway to move this topic?

No problem (moved) ;)
Maybe the others had less of an issue with Chomper and Ruby eating the clams as there was no way to contact them in any way (unlike for example in case of some insects with whom Mo could talk, or the sandcrawlers, with whom some interaction was possible).

That is likely the case I would guess.  Maybe it would be the same with fish, since they've not heard of any fish talking, assuming they know Mo's kind are not some type of fish.

Yes, sandcrawlers, Malte already mentioned those.

But those DID talk, and walk around, and had a distinctive face of sorts etc. none of those applied to the clams which may be why the others may be less shocked about the eating of any of those than about the eating of any of those insects or small creatures with whom the characters were interacting time and again.

As for Ruby I recall, maybe incorrectly, that she was by herself in the water when she ate the snapping shell.

As for seeing Chomper eat Cera did mention that you get use to it, so maybe they have gotten use to seeing Chomper eat crawlers, snapping shells and such things.

that episode was awesome for that scene and the one where Chomper finds a beehive and offers some bees to Littlefoot and Petrie, and they're all like "ZOMG are you mad?!" xD

It was a funny scene.  :)   Chomper has had some great funny scenes around his eating.
