Um... Brock left only for one season and has been with Ash ever since. Misty left after Johto when the japanese voice actress for her quit. Since then, every time Ash goes to a new region, Misty's position is replaced by the female character in the new games. May in Hoenn. And now Dawn in Sinnoh.

As I said, I don't know much about what happened in the new pokemon movies. I only saw 2 eps after brock left and they both weren't too good. I still couldn't get back into it now anyways. I need to study more than characters with school starting and all that. <_<

I wonder I missed this thread? :blink: Oh well, IT'S POKEMON!!!!!

I orignially got into pokemon when Red and Blue became avalible inthe U.S., and I've been hooked. However I do beileve the anime just needs to stop, after ten seasons of the same cliched Team Rocket attacks, it's just lost its luster....ya know, However if it wernt for the fact, that I don't own a DS, I'd most likely have a copy of Diamond, or Peral right now!

I said it once, and I'll say it again, the reason why the show is in its tenth season is because it's so good over in Japan. And while the series is still good in Japan, then that means the dubbers will keep taking out the scatological and adult humor that's in the Japanese original. That's what I can't stand about people who bash the show. They think it's all bad because they have only been subjected to the lesser-evolved english dub. There was actually an episode in the first season that was banned because the Safari Zone warden pointed a gun at Ash... er... I mean Satoshi's face, Team Rocket got shot at, AND Jesse... oops... Sorry, I mean Musashi pretended to propose to the warden, who happens to be a 60 year old guy. So really, the show in Japan happens to be just as good as the games.
