I'm new with adding stories at fanfiction.net, and I need up on adding a second chapter to stories and have it come out with different content. I tried adding a second chapter to one of my stories, and it added the same thing from the first chapter. If anyone knows why it did that, can he or she tell me?

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you're trying to say. Is the document with the second chapter different than the document of the first chapter? Did you select the right document?

What I'm trying to say is how do I upload the second chapter?

You need to upload the second chapter to the Document Manager and then go to edit your story and add a chapter.

How? I know about the Document Manager part, and that's it. I know how to add the first chapter, but not the second. I might just stick with DeviantArt.

Okay I submitted a new chapter of Heinous to FF.Net so I could take screenshots and show you the process. It's easy uploading a new chapter at Fanfiction.Net.

Step 1: Go to Document Manager (Upload).

Step 2: Click on Browse and locate the file you wish to upload.

Step 3: Name the document and click Submit Document.

Step 4: The document now should appear under Document Manager.

Step 5: Go to My Stories and click on the story you wish to update.

Step 6: Click on Content/Chapters. Under Add New Chapter, click Select Document and select the chapter you wish to upload.

Step 7: Name the chapter and click Add Chapter.

Step 8: Chapter is now uploaded. It may not appear right away if you go to the story's URL, but it should appear shortly.
