What great disearning Brit of the old school form of entertainment HASN'T seen Only Fools and Horse (me ol' mucka!  :PAli)

Can't say I watched it religiously but loved a bit of Del Boy and Rodney and all that noise.  :petrieLOL But it was one of those iconically "British" sitcoms that was just delightful in its moments.

If anything, I was more impartial to a spot of "The Young Ones" and "Bottom". Loved Rick Mayall and Ade Edmondson in those  :ChomperPOG

Hey gang!

Coming a bit late but thank you so much for the Starday wishes!  :)littlefoot

Didn't get up to much. In actual fact, I ended up getting sick 3 days before the day and I was forced into isolation within my own home to avoid passing my lergy to anyone  :lfsadface

Thankfully it wasn't Covid and a few days later, I was fine. So no worries there!  :littlefoot:)

Thanks again GOF gang! Much love and appreciation!

Long time no post. Apologies there  :rhett_smile

Can't say I've heard of Zootopia. Heard of Zootropolis - the one with Officer Hopps and they are trying to uncover the mystery of the Night Howler serum? A great move for sure.  :)littlefoot

Indeed. Love the Animaniacs and all their spin off cartoons. I always loved the gags that I clearly didn't get as a kid but make so much sense now.

One of my favourite gags is in the detective episode where they are looking for fingerprints... I shall say no more  :ChomperImAwesome

Going to give Valkyrie Elysium a try. Just downloaded the demo but I remember playing both Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and VP: Silmeria back in the day so this looks interesting. Hopefully it's not nearly as complex as the combat system intricacies of Silmeria.

Yeah for sure.

Don't normally get too hyped for games these days but Bayonetta has frequently amazed me and I've enjoyed all main line entries. Should be good one hopes  :)littlefoot

Wow! Sorry for the delayed reply on this. Been a while since I jumped on the GOF again.

And yes, I have Dink the Little Dinosaur episodes and remember some of them fondly. Kinda always looked at Dink as a Hanna Barbera, low-budget version of LBT (in a way). Fun nostalgic times  :ChomperPOG

Awesome news!

Glad to see that everything is still a-go Diddy!  :petrieLOL

Hopefully we can get more voice clips organised soon. Can't wait to see this project reach completion.

Been a while since I last updated here.

A medley of games really so everything from: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Street of Rage 4's "Mr X's Nightmare" DLC, Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Nier Replicant (insert stupidly obscene number here for some reason).

Just recently kicked off playing Neo: The World Ends With You today so figured I'd give that a try.

Been a fun time on the old gamer's front to be fair  :)littlefoot

Wow! A huge influx of people going for roles! Fantastic!

Great to see so many people going in for positions.

Excellent job on Littlefoot there Mouse-a-saur! Having voiced Littlefoot in the last project, he's no easy feat.

And our roles for Cera and Ducky there, great job there!

Great to have you onboard Flathead as our resident Rainbow Face.

Awesome to see the project coming together. Great work everyone!

Can you outline your dream holiday? (Covid not withstanding and is not a factor in this scenario).

Flip the coin to the other side...

Any of the Kong family you DON'T like? I'll leave it open to the games and the animated series just in case Buster doesn't take your fancy :SharptoothAmused

Upon the audience's request, I've gone back to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to try and tackle the Inverted Castle (or Reverse Castle depending on your take).

A few cheap deaths but apparently I was super lucky and found a weapon that fundamentally breaks the game because of how quickly it hits.

Looking to finish the Inverted Castle up soon so I can move on.

Erm... can't really say I'm hugely hooked on any particular movie sequels.

When it comes to movies, I kinda pick and choose them as they arrive.

Would love for there to be some new LBT content out there, depsite the ridicule it will likely get for being yet another LBT movie.

I played PT and remember being creeped out by it. Although, I didn't get jumpscared by the ghost lady from what I can remember.

I love the idea that a few code breakers have found a disturbing fact about the ghost in PT. The dead woman is actually always behind you the entire time, except when she is supposed to be in places where you can see. I.e. in the hall, on the balcony above you, in the main window.

Such a shame such an awesome concept and legendary team never got the chance to produce arguably one of the greatest survival horror games. Thanks Konami...

Plenty of games have had me leaping up in fright and for different reasons.  :duckyscared

Probably one my first proper VG scares I can remember was from an ancient BBC computer (yep, those existed) game called "Granny's Garden". The premise was you were a child, obviously, on the hunt for some... magical McGuffin (honestly can't remember) in a text and picture based styled adventure game for young kiddies. Although, you were stalked by "The Witch" your whole way through who was a blue faced evil hag with a single pixel for a soulless black eye and a nail-on-chalkbaord screeching tune accompanied her when she caught you. She was basically the game over state if do did too many things wrong. Looking at it now, it's about as scary as a fly striking a windshield would count as a jumpscare but to an infant child, this was some creepy stuff!  :littlefootscared

Speaking of jumpscares, as much as I hate to default to the hype machine, gotta say that the FNAF series really had me spooked the first time it actually hit our screen, almost literally. I avoided watching any FNAF videos on YouTube coz I hated the idea so something leaping at you, pointblank and screaming in your face!  :rhett_ohno Again, over it now but I had genuine nightmares and sleepless nights just thinking about the lying there, defenceless and alone in the dark with the idea that something could be lurking, waiting to leap out at you.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent was another title that basically robbed me of sleep coz the idea of something creeping around in a desolate castle just made my skin crawl. The atmosphere was sodding well dank and choking and the moment-to-moment, full raging scare sprints from monsters when they occurred, which was few and far between, were always very well crafted and got me every time. Again, another title I have since overcome and streamed on my Twitch channel so like to think I've bested that one too.

Can't wait to see what's gonna scare me next. Maybe the idea of a mid-life crisis? Now there's a scary thought :ChomperEww

That I have. And... this is where I might start alienating a few people  :spikeblush

I was at the start of the whole Pokemon/Digimon craze when it began (yes I am that old; shush!  :ChomperBurned) and given the two... I very much preferred Pokemon. Guess it was because I played more of the games and the watched the anime moreso than I did with Digimon.

Don't get me wrong, absolutely nothing wrong with Digimon and I liked it for what it was. Just, I pitched my camp on Pokemon's side of the river and kinda never looked back.
