Take the 90s batman films post Returns. Bat nipples anyone? Bat credit card?
For starters, the Bat credit card ordeal is a non-issue when you consider Bruce Wayne
already uses alter-egos and disguises for his various spending needs for stuff he needs as Batman, and because he has a secret identity to uphold as Bruce Wayne completely separate from his life as Batman, the Bat credit card makes sense because that way if anybody tries to track his purchase histories to try and uncover his secret identity, they can't do so because any purchases made with the Bat credit card would be labeled under the alias Batman, with no attachment at all to his Bruce Wayne identity whatsoever. I mean considering many ask how he gets all of his wonderful toys to begin with, they won't be able to know it's Bruce Wayne because the Bat credit card would only, again, link to Batman as the ID of the spender in question.
With that out of the way...
I honestly kind of hate the fact they needed to justify how big of a threat Thanos is by having him kill just about everyone, and especially due to the fact audiences will know that considering an Avengers 4 is already having the cast of the Infinity War attached to it, it basically taints the sequel by the preview knowing that in some way or form, death will be proven cheap once more, and that's ultimately why I preferred how Age of Ultron didn't acknowledge the fact that Coulson was revived in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., considering what ultimately served as a major driving force for the cast against Loki in The Avengers ultimately ended up becoming a mundane experience for Coulson rather than a permanent death that would haunt everyone around him. Considering how much of the cast gets killed off in Infinity War, they're basically going to run into the same issues that ultimately did in Iron Man 3 for me; pointless killing off of characters only to ultimately revive them not very long afterwards.
I don't think I need to explain any further that I'm not a huge fan of the Death Is Cheap trope, to say the least; especially considering when it's played for drama in the first time, it ultimately feels cheapened by the factor said character inevitably ends up revived and ultimately causes the character's original demise to lose a lot of the initial impact it once had going for it. As much as I'm a fan of Dragon Ball, that ultimately does ruin a lot of the potential plot for me is the fact Death Is Cheap by default in every installment beginning with Z. With Infinity War, it just spells disaster because Thanos may be the top dog at the moment in terms of villains, but however the heroes bounce back from this is ultimately going to make him appear possibly even more pathetic than Loki or Ultron because of the fact Thanos is hyped up to be this unstoppable monstrosity and yet ultimately we know he's inevitably going to be defeated just like all of the other villains before him.
