I'm wondering about what movie will win the Best Animated Feature Academy Award this year.

If Turning Red wins, the internet will burn. :bestsharptooth

And we just blew past it, all because a certain pest tried getting around the ban yet again and spammed everything. :anger

What horrible timing tbh. He’s now the GOF’s “500,000th” poster, unless Gentle Sharptooth beat him to the punch, since he posted alongside him.

Do you get anything for being 500,000th poster?  :smile

I’m thinking how Nick had taken more risks with animation and it had paid off than Disney.

Having just woken up, thinking about what I'm gonna do today.

I REALLY need to watch the rest of Puppy Dog Pals, but I keep getting distracted by watching more Total Drama :neutral :rolleyes

Thinking why are so many shows and commercials on Nick maniac like? I mean chef who screams like a mad man, and very hypnotic/ seizure inducing strobe effects and why does everything vomit in Nick media?

I'm thinking about how... quiet it's been around here lately. The last post made by anyone anywhere on this site was made by me just over 24 hours ago.

I always check in on this site every day, though with how little overall activity there's been, it's rare that I spend more than a couple minutes glancing around before moving on to the next thing in my daily routine. So, I wonder... how many members here are actually visiting regularly, even if they don't seem to ever have anything to post?

And it seems my thoughts today have wandered to the same subject as I had previously posted here. Though, on a more specific note... when's the last time we ever had one of those annual forum awards voting? Have things around here really gone so quiet that we just don't seem to bother with them anymore?

I think a lot about my potential future career and personal goals. As of now, lots of Land Before Time stuff is back in my thoughts again. :smile

Hmm...if I recall correctly, on one of the years they didn't do it they cited being busy as one reason. I am not sure about the rest of the years though, as I wasn't on the forum that much for the past few years really.

As for the awards - yes we stopped doing them because there was very little activity (and it's actually a looot of work to organize it all :) ). Sadly at some point we had to decide that with less than 10 active members, and just several hundred posts over the year, there really wouldn't be many people/posts to vote for.

That said, if activity picks back up and people can actually start making choices again, we wouldn't be against reanimating them. Hoping that is the case now that people no longer have to wait for their activation email and more new members can grace our forum again.

I'm thinking about my upcoming time off. Really need it :D

Awww, what a shame. I understand. It was always such a fun event, where all of us can reminiscent over the interactions and friendships that were made over the course the forum year. It also allows us to extend our thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to those that mean most to us. Highlighting the strengths and the unique attributes that the participating members of the forum have is great as well.
(But well, actually these things can be done at any time of the year, but still there's definitely no harm in having the event return)

Actually...fitting to this thread, I am thinking about what you said. "if... people can actually start making choices again."

To-o-o-o be fairrrrr... pretty much everyone here is awesome. :celebrate :birthday :cheers
So perhaps I wouldn't mind too much if that was the real reason for the awards being on hiatus. :p

We are a close knit community... family... and hopefully can always stay that way! :spikeblush
