This game needs a little twist. I say, that if you give a pairing, you should at least try to show how that pairing would have started. I can only think of one, though, but is WAY to creepy.

As far as the PetrieXRuby pairing, I think Ruby would protect Petrie from predators and help him stay strong. Petrie would look out for Ruby by flying and keeping watch of Sharpteeth. However, they are different species.
