Well, you know, not in that way :)
Who's your fave BLT charry? Mine's Lampy :3
Welcome to the GoF! I'm certain you'll have a wonderful stay! :DD
Mine is Kirby! I just adore that he's a grump with a heart of gold and voiced by the late great Thurl Ravenscroft.

The oasis scene (based on a book while there is no evidence it has ever been actually filmed) is set before Cera's insult to Littlefoot's mother however. I never heard about any actual scene or planning of such a scene in which Cera appologized or took back what she said about Littlefoot's mother. Are there any sources concerning such a scene?
I think I'm being unclear.

It's just that I'd heard about this being supposedly one of the cut scenes but didn't know where exactly it was supposed to take place in the movie. No, I never heard of Cera ever apologizing, but I would've appreciated a scene like this where she at least starts to see the error of her ways.

Well, I didn't know there was a scene where she actually says 'sorry' to Littlefoot... I doubt a scene like an apologise of Cera would have been cutted anyway
I'm referring to the part where she sees how foolish it is when they see the two dinosaur groups that won't share their food or water with on another. It sounded like that was where she started to realize how wrong her prejudice was, which would have most definitely made me view her more favorably.

Welcome to the forum.  The 1st movie is great, even with the edits they did to it.

I also like The Brave Little Toaster.  Have you seen any of the sequels?  I like the 2nd sequel better then the first sequel.  The 3rd movie in the trilogy in this case.  The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue.

Great Sculptures.

I actually really hate the Toaster sequels since Jerry Rees had nothing to do with them and they're so dumbed down... You really could compare them to the sequels done to Bluth's films where they lack the charm and depth of the original.

I'm just glad Jerry was never forced to cut anything out of his movie. He was strongly urged remove the clown nightmare and Worthless number but all that ever ended getting censored was a very minor thing in the DVD release.

What got me was in the first film was when Cera called Little Foot's mother a "Stupid long-neck" knowing full well that she was dead and had saved her life. That I just couldn't forgive.

It's a shame that it sounds like her redemption would've come in one of the scenes that was cut since she really doesn't get much of one in what was released.

I can, however, admire that she's yet another Bluth female that goes outside what you traditionally see in kids' movies.

My mother had bought it for me and I remember crying my eyes out after Little Foot's mom died but I still really liked the film. I've always had more boyish interests so you can bet that I really dug this movie, but hated Cera with a passion xD

What's funny though is that the Sharptooth never scared me at all; it was when they disguised themselves in the tar that almost made me stop watching as it absolutely horrified me as I didn't realize it wasn't a horrible monster.

I know I watched the sequels but they never lived up to the first movie and may be the reason why I sold the original along with those when I was older.

Does anyone here happen to have the VHS tape that was sold at McDonald's in the US? That's what I had before I was stupid and sold it and I know for a fact that it had more to the Sharptooth scene than the DVD releases as seeing chunks get torn out of Little Foot's mother really stuck in my mind as a kid. I'm just curious if perhaps it may have a little bit more footage to it as well as I can't remember anymore differences myself.

Is the less censored attack scene anywhere on youtube? I haven't been able to find it.

Hello everyone!

I recently had the urge to rewatch the original film (as well as curse myself for selling my VHS tape) and happened to find this fine community when I realized all the mystery behind it. I hope to get along well with you folks!

I'm a reluctant Dietary Aide whose quite the shut in. I love animation with The Brave Little Toaster being my favorite movie of all time. I also collect a vast assortment of things and have two lovely guinea pigs as pets. Well, technically three since one was pregnant, but I'm afraid since he's a boy he'll be going to an animal shelter Saturday.

Other than that, there's not much else.
