Like the little annotation after the topic title says, in any sort of fiction work (Whether it be tv show, book, movie, or game) what are your favorite character pairings, whether they be official or just ones you thought of in your mind?

WALL-E And EVE were the first pair of characters I've loved to watch romantically. Petrie and Ducky are a distant, only because it's not officially canon.

I've got more friendship pairings. I always love the sidekick characters in movies, like Riley Poole from National Treasure or Al Giordino from Sahara.

Blackadder and Baldrick are also an awesome pairing. The two complement each other perfectly.

Chloe and Clark from Smallville, and Sherlock and Watson also work well together, not as well as the above but I still like them.

I also think Shelton's and James' personalities from the Darwin's Soldiers RPs bounce off each other well
