LBT 12 Review

I've just seen lbt 12. I can just say it's a lot better than lbt 11. I wasn't expecting much from this sequel, as some of you know, but thankfully they've proved me wrong =p
Guido's a very funny character, and the entire story around him is interesting, although in the end we still don't know where he comes from. Tricia is very cute, she doesn't say much and the movie tends to go around the way Cera feels about having her as her sister.
For the first time Petre's seeblings actually say something and are important for the story. The songs are very good, and I enjoyed the rythm of Flip Flap & Fly.
To finish - I don't want to spoil it any more than I already have =P - the use of CGI was very well accomplished, however they did put grass, which didn't exist at that time. Oh well we're all used to scientific inaccuracies throughout the series, what's one more...
I give it an 8 in a scale from 1 to 10

Actually, grass DID exist; some fossilized grass was discovered inside of the stomach of a dinosaur fossil somewhere in Asia. Anyway, Tricia's her name. Figures. It's another derivative of "Triceratops", like Cera, Tria, Topsy (Topps?), and now Tricia.

Another thing, the DVD doesn't have any special features besides the 4 language options, do you think the US-Europe release will have any special features?

FOUR LANGUAGES!? Wow, that's awesome! Unfortuently my computer can't work with torrents, or at least they have never worked for me, so I guess I'll have to wait until the movie is released on video. Unless, of course, someone uploads the movie in parts on servers like Up-File or MegaUpload or something. On another note, I saw that discover about grass. Interesting, to say the least.

Oh, and isn't it illegal to distribute copyrighted movies on the internet without the copyright holder's permission? And one more thing; it MIGHT be BARELY legal to put he movie up on some website without making a download available; just watching the movie ON THE SITE. Sorry for the excessive capitalizations; I just thought that this was important.

Woah, that grass thing is really amazing, we can look at dinosaurs in a completely different way now... it also explains the existence of some grazing mammals by that time =p

Torrents, eMule, Kazaa, Soulseek, all these things are illegal. Still everyone uses them to get songs, albums, movies, games, etc. As long as you don't start selling them out, no one will ever do anything to you.

Is that the same torrent someone posted on N54? I bet someone had an evaluation copy and you get the words "do not distribute" every now and then on screen...sometimes people get to watch stuff early...and then share it with the world.

I rather suppose that somebody in Australia brought up the video. Remember that the movie has been released there already.

At least someone is waiting to buy the DVD when it comes out. Good for you, Malte. You truly deserve the title "Land Before Time Philosopher." By the way, if anyone has information about the 12th movie, it's plot and characters, they should put it on wikipedia, or the land before time wiki, or leave some sort of review, synopsis, or summary of what they saw.

P.S. It says on wikipedia that Rinkus and Sierra appear in this movie. Is this true?

My brother makes it a habit of downloading torrents, which is kind of annoying to me because it slows down the computer.

Nope, Rinkus and Sierra will not appear on lbt 12, although there are two pterosaurs just like them, they're not them and the only thing they do is sing-a-long with the Flip, Flap and Fly song
As for that torrent, it works, it took my friend about 4 days to download it. His internet connection is a DSL 2 mb though.
