So you said to keep it down to one but I actually have 4 sketches (though it's really just 2 with slight variations and only on a single character). Sneak I'm joining you on the Ruby front for this one! :p

The left column is along the lines of the philosoraptor. I started out more of a happy look on the top left but decided to redo it to be more in line with thinking. I personally like the idea of the bottom left one the most but with such limited space for the emote the extra space required for the hand might make things more difficult. The right column should hopefully look more like the traditional one we have currently on Discord.

Since only 1 is allowed I guess I can pick once the time actually comes, unless people prefer one over the other. :lol

Also, if anyone could give any recommendations on what software one could use for converting to digital that would be much appreciated. I have no experience on the subject.

Sketches are just awesome!!! :D
I like all of them!

(I used Paint and Paint.Net to convert paper sketches to digital. It's pretty simple.)

Nice ones Flathead! I've always used Photoshop to trace over a sketch in a different layer to make them digital, but I bet there are similar programs out there for that sort of work. Either way, there'll probably be someone here who has the time to make the emote viable for digital use!

Small reminder to submit your suggestions before 8 PM CET! (which is roughly 9 hours and 10 minutes from this post)

I'll set up a poll with the options tonight!

Well I guess I have to choose one to submit so I'll go with the bottom right one. It's similar to the original emote and I feel will be more efficient with space then the other.

<unnecessary opinion> for me - it would good if it would be combination of top-right (more smooth, has angle, more good form) with hand from bottom-right. :D</unnecessary opinion>

btw, if you don't convert it to digital in the future by yourself - can I try to make it, please? :)

I actually fully agree with you on that one. I'll probably redo it anyways on better paper to convert to digital. Might as well wait to see if I even win before going that far though.

Thanks for the advice!  :smile

OK, I just posted the voting topic here:
http://www.gangoffive.net/index.php?topic=16218.msg474417#msg474417

Not sure if late submissions can be added, but will try if there are any!

Let's move on rapidly with round 2: Surprise - Petrie, Ducky, Chomper (or any other character you think is fitting)
Kind of like: :o

Same rules apply I guess!

1. Please limit yourself to one submission (screenshot or drawing)!
2. The drawing doesn't have to be 100% colored or digital. If you have an amazing idea, just a sketch will do. We can always digitize them later if our talented digital artists want to help out with that.
3. You'll have one week to submit something. However I won't be around next week Wednesday, which I totally forgot about, so for this first first week please submit your stuff by Tuesday 27 November before 20:00 CET!
4. I'll make a separate voting posts in which I collect all the drawings and screenshot, where you can vote on your favorites. The one(s) with the most votes will be finalized and made into an emote in the week that follows it.
5. I'll open up the next competition right after creating the voting topic.
6. The more the merrier, so even if you think you might not be good at drawing, please feel free to join in and submit something!

Out of curiosity, I have been trying to find a link to the discord server, but have been unable to find it, where would I be able to find the link? Thank you.

You will gain access once you have 25 posts.  We do not freely give out the link until we know more about the person (unless you happen to know anyone here personally that can vouch for you).

Well I suppose I'll start things off for this round. This one was more or less a bit of a copy from LBT 9, but I did change the eye positions to look straight ahead.

OK so I though perhaps this Cera-face, but cleaned up without the goo! Can't make a sketch or worked out piece this time, so a screenshot will have to do. See attached! :)

I agree with Petrie on this :p

Nice choice Iris! Looks like this one will have a bit more variety to choose from!

Unlike with the other two, this time I really do not have a scene in mind but I'll try searching through the galleries of animationscreencaps :^^spike
