I started Summer School (just there because of aspegers syndrome) and I was there until late morning. It was kind of a boring day until my parents got home from work and we watched Shrek 3 :xD: . Otherwise, it was a good day :) .

I meant to watch it, and the trailer seemed rather funny too, but I already got a rather negative review from Petrie and those reactions tend to tell more than a trailer does...

Post by: Ptyra on June 07, 2007, 04:23:49 PM: Wrong emotion :bang !!! It was great! My favorite part was Shrek's nightmare after Fiona tells him that she's pregnant. Hahaha! I'll tell you it since it dosn't spoil much.

Shrek gets back to the swamp and Fiona calls him. He goes in the house and finds a baby pram. Of course, there's a baby oger in it (this is the one that really throws up :lol: ). Then, more and more baby ogers start popping up and before you know it, there's a HUGE flood of them spewing in (Before that he went in the room and saw a baby reading an ABC's book upsidedown)! Then, he's on a stage-in his underwear-wearing a grad hat with "Pomp and Circumstace" playing...and all these baby ogers are laughing at him :lol ! Then, the second part of the same dream is "Shrek waking up" and Donkey and Puss have baby oger faces :lol . Then he really wakes up. They really have only three babies though (Thank goodness for Shrek).

All dark humor aside, my birthday gift was also a Christmas gift twofold...that being a sewing machine.
Though, the Monday before I went to the water park with my boyfriend (which is how I got the infection), and on my actual birthday I went to Ripley's Believe it or Not and Wax museum with my brothers, and girlfriend of one of them. I got a wax model with my hand done with "x4" written on it. It's colored turquoise and green. I thought it would look pretty until it came out looking like a ninja turtle hand XD . Should have done blue and white for a TARDIS. Don't know if I can go over the wax paint with wall paint.

My mother and I are going to get birthday massages next week. And I want to get my toes painted too. I haven't been chewing my fingernails lately, so maybe they can get some painting too. There's one upside to the worst ear infection of my life...I'm breaking a habit.

I got a pedicure and had lunch with my youngest brother's girlfriend, then we picked up our newest foster cats from an animal control center -- a mama and two eight week old kittens. They're in need of serious medical attention, but hopefully the little ones should be socialized really well by the time they're fully recovered.

Especially if their gigantic sweetie of a tiny mom pushes them in the right direction.

Post by: Ptyra on June 07, 2015, 02:35:04 PM: Yep. We haven't been able to do any fostering since our Christmas kittens, since we've been doing major housework. This seemed like a good opportunity, plus we have the mother, and the kittens are already pretty big as it is. Mama, not so much. The bigger kitten is half her length and nearly as tall as she is. They just need some medicine and socializing. The kittens anyway. Once they're able to be in my room, they should pick up right away.

For now they're in my parents' bathroom while they're at their sickest.
