Well, any What if topics are quite funny and interesting so why not make a game about it :lol:
I hope something like this didn't already exist....
So I'll start: What if Mr. Thicknose would be a Hypnotist?

Well, Chomper would still live there and he'd be a well accepted resident of the GV. He'd probably live in a cave. As for hunting for food I think he'd go out of the Valley to get some food from time to time.
He might be a good fighter against sharpteeth btw :lol
What if Tria layed more than one egg?

Cera would have to abandon the Gang to become a babysitter.
What if Topsy suddenly became pink-colored?

The gang would mistake him for Tria and make him angry...until they actually saw her.
What if Spike decided to change his diet?

Then he would become a carnivore and eat his friends.

He, fueled by revenge and confident in his endurance and strength, would have found a way to enter the Great Valley a long time ago, and would have wrought havoc among the Great Valley dinosaurs. Possibly the Gang would have met an untimely end.
Pterano and Co. did three silly things in a row
1) decided to plot in secret about something that nobody cared about
2) they choose the grassland in what must be the most populated part of the Great Valley to do their plotting
3) they kidnapp an eavesdropper to their silly plot
What if they add
4) Pterano offers Ducky a share in world domination to placate her?

Ducky would agree but she wouldn't be able to keep what Pterano told and offered her. So sooner or later their plan would fail because everyone would find out :D
What, if 'The Land Before Time' was about a 'Sharptooth Gang' instead of our five beloved leafeaters?

The target audience might be a little older, considering they'd have to kill to eat, but I don't see it being any problem... :lol
What if The Great Valley was tiny?

Well, there wouldn't be enough space for that many dinosaurs --> arguments, fights... lack of food etc..
What if Littlefoot had a brother?

Besides his adopted brother, Shorty, you mean? Well, I'm sure Littlefoot would be thankful at first, but as he starts getting older, he'll probably start acting mean towards Littlefoot, and that...well, that could be a huge problem later on.
What if Petrie never gained his courage to fly by the end of the first movie?

Ducky would have been eaten by THE Sharptooth and he would have been eaten as well because he's quite slow on his feet. Probably...
What if Littlefoot meets Rooter again?

Then I bet Littlefoot would thank him for his emotional support during the first movie and then introduce him to his grandparents.
What if Ducky was too afraid to swim in the first film? (I have heard that this was originally to be a plot point of the first film, but the producers finally decided to give a similar character trait - fear of flight - to Petrie instead.)

The planning at the end would have taken much, much longer before it was put in motion because Ducky would have absolutely refused to leap for dear life in the pond - she would have wanted to skirt around the bank.
What if the Gang were all one species instead of a variety? (Has this been asked?)

Then they probably would never have learned the lesson about tolerating other kinds that they learned in the first film.
What if it turned out that Chomper was related to Red Claw?

Cera, Mr. Threehorn, and probably most of the other grownups would go mental. Littlefoot would still love him, standing by him, and believing in him the whole way. The rest of the gang might be skeptical at first, but would eventually love him again.
What if Chomper's Parents came by the Great Valley for a visit? :DD

What if the Land Before Time had been about "the bullies" known as Hyp, Mutt and Nod?

Then the "gang" would have been less likable to the target audience, and the films would have probably become a morality tale about respecting others regardless of how much stronger or older you were.
What if Chomper made a wish on a magical stone and turned all of the gang of seven into sharpteeth? (Yes, in case anyone was wondering, I did get this idea from brekclub85's great fanfiction 'Sharptooth Valley'.)

First, they get banned to the Mysterious Beyond for being Sharpteeth, then they'll train hunting and fighting so they can finally end Redclaw's terror regime :lol:

That actually sounds like an interesting idea for a fanfic.
Littlefoot would be bitterly depressed for a while and would continue to think about her from time to time, but after being comforted by his friends and being reminded of the great circle of life by his grandfather he would eventually return to his old self.
What if Littlefoot continued to grow at a slower pace (as eluded to in LBT XI) than is typical for his species? In particular how would Shorty and other longnecks react to this development?

Well, Littlefoot's Grandparents would always encourage and love him, no matter of their son's size. Shorty would bully him for being too small (so would Cera).
Not sure how Ali would react... I guess she'd accept Littlefoot but she wouldn't like it much that he's smaller than he should be.
What if Pterano meets Rinkus & Sierra again?

I would imagine that there would be trouble. Rinkus and Sierra would be irate at Pterano for leading them astray with tales about the power of the Stone of Cold Fire. Although I suspect Sierra (due to his sociopathic characteristics) would be the main threat in terms of direct violence, as Rinkus would probably only cause trouble if there was some benefit for him in the equation.
What if Spike gained the ability to speak to a meaningful extent? Would he only talk about food? :lol

Hey, you forgot... zzz :lol He'd talk about food a lot, but also about sleeping or even serious things like the meaning of true friendship...
What if a major argument splits the Gang into two groups? Two might be allying with who?

The Gang of Seven would split into Ruby&Chomper vs. the Gang of Five. The Gang of Five would split into three groups: Littlefoot, Cera and everybody else, or into four groups, with only Ducky and Spike staying together.
What if Sue wasn't there?

A sad but very believable possibility. :( I would imagine that one of the other residents (perhaps Mama Swimmer?) would take him in temporarily. Perhaps, as a more permanent solution, he would then be sent off with a wandering longneck herd as soon as one stopped by the valley.
What if the gang didn't realize that all of Mama Swimmer's eggs were in the nest and simply left Chomper's egg in her nest? Considering hadrosaur maternal instincts, how would Mama Swimmer have reacted to her purple, sharptoothed child?

They would have relocated to the south, and the next movies would have been set in Florida on a sunny beach with everyone drinking cocktails xD

Well, if she was around the same age as Cera then I think it would be safe to say that there would be a lot more "butting heads" (literally) between the step-siblings considering the usual temperament of threehorns.
What if Ali chose Rhett as a love interest and outright rejected Littlefoot? How would he and the gang react?

Well, let's just say Chomper wouldn't have acted like a threatening Sharptooth but would have BEEN a threatening Sharptooth. Of course they're all pissed off..

Even if Chomper failed to successfully land the bite, there would have been grave consequences for Chomper. I do not doubt that the adults would have been exiled from the valley... or worse. :(
What if Ruby developed an allergy to something in the Great Valley's mud pools? How would she deal with stress?

What if Pterano was Petrie's Father, not uncle?

I actually think I have read a fanfic somewhere where that happened. Considering how Pterano is already a father figure of sorts for the young flyer (due to the mysterious absence of Petre's actual father) I don't actual see there being much a difference in the interactions between the two. Now, if Pterano had stayed and helped raise Petrie in this scenery, then that could have lead to interesting changes indeed :yes . For one, perhaps Petrie would have grown to be a bit more outgoing and less fearful.
What if (perhaps in a depraved version of my already depraved fanfic :p ) Chomper was turned into a leafeater, while the other members of the gang were turned into sharpteeth?
