I just made my own forum thats right I have a forum now I built it its on the invisionfree site its called THEHIVEOFTHEALIENS but you'll have to look hard for it seeing is how its new I beleave its in the movies or hobies not to sure I do got some forums up though.

great news ya'll I got the BackGround picture I wanted on there now. BUT I just need to know is how to make thoughs dern forum Topic box's transparent. I can't see the background to good.

You're going to have one heck of a time reading text with that type of picture for a background...I suppose your text would have to be all white or very very light colors for that to work just because the picture is so busy (compared to what I'm using on this board).

I'll send you an email again on transparency, plus you'll get all the font colors I'm using here and we'll go from there....check your spam folder. I think you deleted my email the last time because you said you never got it...

Good luck Titan, As someone who's run a board before, I know the difficulties running a forum can pose. One, is getting enough members to keep it going, and having them stick around. The reason most new forums fail is through lack of membership.

I have made one last update to the THOTA. I'm quite happy with it really. I'm gonna keep it like it is now.

Well, its not perfect yet...still a bit more we could do. Those fixes are easy compared to all that stuff I sent in that email. It's not as easy as it looks.

I can send you more tips...like how to keep the background stationary and all that...that's easy stuff. To make the entire thing transparent (Firefox only...IE users will see some bars but I can't do anything about that) similar to what you see here, I'll have to make a few more changes.

If its easier for you, I'll just register and you let me into the admin section and I'll mess around with some stuff on your behalf. B)
