Actually, I didn't grow up with or hear of it, until I was searching for The Cera and Ducky version of If We Hold on Together, there was a video of Animals of Farthering Wood with the song.

But I didn't care for it to much (not the video, just the series, it didn't get my attention to much, so I just listened to the song with the land before video that was on youtube).

Then I came across Ptyra's deviant art, and forum, that got me hooked on it. Now I'm starting to like it more.

But these are the only characters I really care for are Adder and Sinuous.

Sorry, I wasn't talking about the video, I was talking about the show in general, it didn't appeal to me until you said that I should watch it, I had viewed your fanart, made some and found pics of adder/sinuous.

Again sorry, I would never make fun of anything you made. The series just seemed different to me, since I never heard of it until I found your video. It was made before I was born, so that might be why (which is wierd since I've heard of LBT which was made long before it, but I've never heard of this.)

I didn't truly discover the series until I was about your age. 'Course, in the fourth grade, I had found an American adaptation where it had the Karate Kid dude as Fox (whuuuuh!?) and crudtacular songs. I had no IDEA there was a series until I was in the seventh/eighth grade!
Heck, Bone was made before I was born (it's about to get to it's 20th anniversary) and I ADORE it :DD . Then again, I am an "old junk" person.

I understand that you weren't making fun of it. Hence the " :p ". Minor tongue-in-cheek.

I used to like Animals of Farthing Wood, till it got cancelled on BBC.   Granted I didn't watch all the episodes and I wasn't the total fan but I did like the show.

A long time ago I watched this show, but I don't think it is airing in Poland anymore. I liked it then and still I like it, as I've watched the first season recently on YuoTube and I'm begining to watch the second.  ;)

I've watched the first season on youtube.

I've watched five of season 2, and I'm kind of mad that adder is only in one of the five, :cry  I know that its winter, but still. I wish she was in all six some how, plus that scene in my avatar where the napkin fell on her and she said, "What's all the fuss about?" then slithered off was hilarious. :lol

Yeah. That was quite funny, as was the moment when Weasel caught this bouquet of flowers, that was thrown by the bride. It was a bit foreshadowing, wasn't it? :D

There was one scene in Episode 5 I believe where Adder really broke the 4th wall, after she tells Peasent to get out sight she looks at the screen and says "oops" before ducking in cover, she could've been thinking: "oops, I can't let the viewers see my kinder side or I'll get fired for sure"  :lol

That's cause the farmer spotted her, remember after she hid, the farmer pointed his rifle at the pheasant.

After watching the episode where Sinuous dies, that makes the only movie or tv series that actually made me feel like crying twice. The first was when bold dies, the second is when Sinuous dies. :cry

Why dose Sinuous have to die anyway? That is the dumbest thing they could do in the series, is kill the main character's mate. Who even came up with using that idea from the book for the tv series?! :anger

How else to do REALLY get Adder to REALLY express her feelings. By season three, Adder hadn't lost anyone precious. Keep in mind that up until Sinuous came around (and still a while after), she was quite the selfish...snake *catches tomato*. It was time for her to lose someone that she really loved.

What I would've done is:

Her and Sinuous have kids first, then one of them dies the same one instad of Sinuous.

If they did make for than 39 episodes, would she have had kids cause according to wikipedia (man i hate quoting this place now!) most fans think that she was pregant due the fact that Weasel found a mate, and she had kids.

To bad they didn't do a season 4, 5 and 6. I've seen the ending of season 3, that wasn't a good ending for a tv series, leaving the MAIN character of the series being the only one without a mate?

I pointed that out too, but baby adders would have added too many characters. Besides, there wouldn't be room for them in the series either, thanks to those blasted weasels >.< . I like Weasel and all, but the third season just ruined her.

If anything, there should have been a bit more of Sinuous than the weasels because his death seemed pointless, as he was a rather "flat" character.

Weasel is a favorite (for me anyway) anyone remember the scene where she gets drunk, you don't see that in cartoons nowadays  :lol

Anyone who has seen the show isn't likely to forget Weasel's laugh anytime soon. ;) :wow  I forgot how I was introduced to the show...I suspect it was mentioned somewhere on a Watership Down discussion board many years ago and looked into the book.  I liked the book...nice easy read. :)  I bought Season 1 (all on vhs) from a person on the forum and I found the first season to be pretty decent.  The sex changes I can live with.  Season 2, 3, ....dull and not worth my time on repeat viewings.

I know. Her laugh was stuck in my head even two or three weeks after I watched the last episode. :lol
