Title: The future of the LBT series (Topic closed)

I was told that I could share this information, but I was not allowed to tell how I came by it or who told me.

I know that there is a possiblilty that they will continue to make more sequals. According to my information, they need at least a little over 12 million dollars (about 12.3 to be exact) off these next three sequals and they are not optimistic about it. I also know that they have purchased the scrpts about three years ago otherwise number 12 would have been the last one. I also know that the scripts never had a confirmed name. That's all I know so far.

If you say so. No offense, but I don't think I can believe this "information" until I see proof for myself. And since you said you can't reveal anymore, we'll just wait and see over the years and find out if ths information was true or not.

I hope that it's not true.  I would hate for them to stop making the sequals.

The only reason I think it's true is the fact that I saw actual transaction records for the scripts (a digitalized copy of course) and let me tell you, they aren't cheap.

With the amount of exposure you have had to LBT development...did you and your family go on vacation to the studio some year or something?  Do you have any personal involvement in the series?  It just seems odd that the producers would show the transaction records to a tourist.  Who are you? :p  LOL :lol

I saw the records over the computer and before you say anything about how those transaction records could have been faked, I have to tell you that they would have had to have been faked by a master hacker with at least 5 years experience with C++ programming that had a $15,000 printer that only executive buisnesses can get and a $2000 scanner.  The chances of this are not very good.

I just hate to see LBT turn out this way.  These lbt sequals are different from other one's I have seen.  They have both action and are meaningful.  The tv series is just a bunch of action and they really lack substance.  They are entertaining, but I just can't see Ruby and Chomper coming into a sequal and not making it nothing but action.  I would not have a problem with them coming in so long as they made the sequal have as much meaning as previous one's.

1)alright, the captions you've already made are baffling, at best, however... the reason you aren't taking into account is:

how long do they have to make an episode?

how long do they have to make a movie?

are there numerical differences by chance?

2) or MacGyver with a penny, 2 Expo markers, and a half a tube of toothpaste :p

Personally I think that it takes a minumum of two weeks to create a episode but I really don't know.

how long do they have to make a movie?

Well according to the release dates, possible a year.

I don't understand this question.

are the amounts of time the same?
Title: The future of the LBT series (Topic closed)
Post by: landbeforetimelover on June 01, 2007, 11:31:39 PM
Definently not!  The sequals are longer, more detailed, and have better animation.  It's only natural that they would take longer.

that ALSO allows for more script modification and story editing though does it not?

Yes.  Assuming that the scripts were not predetermined.

An animated movie actually takes a few years to produce, especially if it is for theatres.

Perhaps in most cases, but not with the newer sequals of lbt.  Their release dates are only like 1 year apart.

there are no predetermined scripts, it leaves no room to make something better, granted the sequels, in somes' eyes have gone downhill, BUT they could've been a lot worse had they not changed the scripts perhaps

and why would you need to hack to make something fake?

What makes you think that the scripts were altered?  Just because they were normally doesn't mean that they were for lbt.

Hey guys, sorry to get in the way of the party but it's getting a bit off-topic. :P:

This thread should mainly focus on the topic:

I would really hate it if Ruby and Chomper became perminently part of the gang in say lbt 13 or 14 or some future sequal. What about you?

I have split the topic and moved the posts related to LBT film development into a new thread.

Dear lord, that's how this whole thing started?  I personally had no idea what the topic was anymore otherwise I would have tried to steer it back.  Sorry Action9000. :(

wouldn't a transaction list tell you at least SOME of the voices that are in the movie?

and if you said you couldn't say any more why'd you tell us you saw these transactions in the first place?

I must say I'm getting suspicious as well. Landbeforetimelover, originally you stated you could not reveal anymore than just there will only be 3 more movies. But in the posts following that, you reveal more and more information.

This is just making me more skeptical. No offense intended.

To even know what an official transaction record looks like.  It looked official.  They would also need to know a transaction number or at least how many digits to make it.  I have seen other transaction records and this one looks identical (except it has a different item #, item, and buyer).  Also, you would have to get access to the transaction program used.  You can determine the make, model, and serial number of a printer or scanner by just looking at the paper with an infared light and a microscope.  I determined that the printer used was about $15,000 and was only available to executive buisnesses.  I know of no way to fake this.  This printer identification method is used by the FBI and other law enforcent agencies to crack down on people using fake money and printing out child porn and illegal credit card numbers.  I know one thing for certain:  They paid a lot for these scripts and are most likely not going to change them unless absolutely necessary.

I meant I could not tell you who gave me this info.  I can share the info with anyone.

Nope.  It just stated what script was bought and for what price.  It didn't really go into details.

Mostly I said this because I really didn't want to get into a heated debate tonight.  It is friday after all.  I'm coming off of 4 days straight with only like 2 hours of sleep a night.  I'm tired!  I can in fact share this information so long as I don't reveal my associate's identity.  He wanted to be left out of it.

Well, what he was doing wasn't exactly on the right side of the law.  He had to hack about 20 databases from around the world to get this information.

Not technically since he's never been caught.  He's 72.

I'm not afraid of sharing this information because the only thing I can potentially get charged with is witholding information.  I would tell a law enforcement officer his identity if he asked me to so I have nothing to worry about.

No.  We took about 35 supposidly professional transaction records and compared them.  They all looked the same.
