I don't think I've made this thread on here before... or is there one in Show us your...? if so merge them here, it seems more fitting...
Ever made a LEGO model you were very proud of?
Post them here!

I'm guessing you made that out of pieces from various Bionicle sets. Although I have a huge number of Bionicle sets, I'm not that good at making custom lego models (commonly known as MOCs (my own creations)).
-
yea, I have a lot, I try to inventory them, and get bored XD
-
I'm certain I've got more than you. Let's see...*counts every Bionicle set displayed on the shelves*...128 sets. Wow, I never realized I had that many. I guess I'm quite a big Bionicle fan.

LOL... LEGO sets? I measure LEGO pieces in gallons, not in sets...
I have probably 33 gallons and a closet floor of LEGO pieces
-
I don't know if they even had invented Legos when I was a kid. But I've seen you can do some really amazing things with them.
-
OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!! I love legos....I only have a small set of older bionicle sets, and one left over X-wing fighter.

Oh man! I used to build A TON of things with LEGOs. I did this back before internet was around. (Yeah, my LEGOs are that old.) I mostly built my own versions of Megazords out of them. (I was SO into Power Rangers back then.) I even did the impossible and built an 8 foot tall Megazord, complete with a custom made sword and shield. (Which was easier than you think. I had some rather special pieces that just made it easy.) However, the very moment the very last LEGO was put on to complete it, (I used EVERY LEGO I had at the time.) it all tumbled over and broke into many, many pieces. :(
I even mixed and matched the many different LEGO charcters that come with a number of the sets for the pilots. There were just so many ways to mix them up. (I actually did a female for the red colored zord several times. Well before Power Rangers came up with this idea themselves.)
Today, the LEGOs I hold just sit in a nice container and await the day I decide to use them again. Yet, it's been such a long time since I had some enthusiasim to build. Pretty much stopped when I discovered the joy of fanfiction. :D

Guess that happens to many. Fanfiction has certain advantages over building with legos, though legos have an advantage as well.

Wow. LOL. I haven't played with legos since the age of 6. :lol I sold them all for about a thousand bucks at the age of 9. Those don't look like your ordinary legos to me though.......
-
Maybe they are from one of those sets or a combination of several sets.
-
The pieces on that custom lego model (commonly known as a MOC (my own creation)) are clearly from Bionicle sets (the first Bionicle sets were from 2001, quite recent acctually). I bet I could even identify which sets some of those pieces came from. I just need to look at the more unique pieces to identify the sets.
-
I don't even know which sets they're from, I put all the sets in tubs or on my closet floor
-
Legos look like fun.

I keep my sets better organized than that. I never throw away the containers. On my shelves, the sets that were released this year or last year are assembled and stand in front of their box or canister while the rest are disassembled and inside their box or canister.

I'd need a spare room to have all my boxes XD I had to fight with my parents to keep my SNES box
-
Reminds me, I forgot what I was looking for but I saw on youtube someone made a huge handheld snes player.
I didn't know legos were still coming out, though being old and with no kids it makes sense I'd not know stuff like that.
