Hi,
does anyone have the books which are based on the TV-series (or some of them)? Judging from the covers there seems to be one based on "The spooky nighttime adventure", one based on "Canyon of the shiny stones", one based on "Legend of the story speakers", and one based on an episode I haven't watched yet (my guess is that it would be "the lonely journey").
Anyone who has the books or some of them, how are they in terms of illustrations, story etc.? I consider getting them via ebay but haven't really made up my mind so far.

Do you have any links to them? Or pictures of the covers?

I didn't know that such books existed, to be honest!.  :D

They are almost constantly on ebay. Here is a link to one of the books on Amazon. There should be links to the other LBT TV-series based books on that same side.
Does anyone have any or all of these to give some review? It would be greatly appreciated :yes

eBay is indeed the best place to look for LBT items, period.  Books are no exception to the vast list of items you can find.

Here is the link for those items.  Biggest thing is that you can buy a good number of them right away if you wanted to.

Yes, right.
Does anyone already own one or several of these books?

Oh wow, I didn't know these existed!
With such low prices available, I might just spring for them myself.
Though if I do, I'll probably only buy one first to check the quality(which could potentially solve the problem posed by this thread :smile ).
That is, if no one on here who owns them turns up.

A user named Wilhelmina Will from the Land Before Time Wiki made a few wiki pages on some of the books. It would appear she's read some of them. You might want to ask her on her talk page.

I don't think they're too bad. The library I work at has the Shiny Stones one, the Hidden Runner one and the Lonely Dinosaur one that I can remember.

I quite agree with that one. I have the books based on "The Canyon of the Shiny Stones", "The spooky nighttime adventure", and "The lonely journey" and am quite happy with them. They won't exactly revolutionize the field of literature, but they are not written in sentences that are clearly for beginning readers only, but instead include a higher level of detail than most of such books would do. Moreover I like the illustrations which they bothered to make instead of just using screenshots. Some day I need to check out for those books which I don't have yet. I know there is one based on "The legend of the storyspeaker" but apart from the four books mentioned already, are there any more?

Someone needs to get some images for these books, especially "The Lonely Dinosaur". Apparently there's sharptooth illustrations in it but we have no knowledge if this is true.
Growing up I was a big LBT fan and had seen all movies and TV series episodes. On the forum, I was formerly known as Hypnobrai until Nov 11, 2017.

In recent years, I have gained an interest in the production of The Land Before Time, particularly the deleted scenes of the original film. New discoveries have been made in the last few years and continue to be made, so I feel that it is a good time to contribute.

I have always loved sharpteeth more than any other creatures in the franchise, especially the fourteenth film's Carnotaurus, the fifth film's Sharptooth, and especially the original Sharptooth.

I am a former administrator of the LBT wiki, having been active from 2017 to 2019.

Old thread, but I’m very interested as to what these books look like compared to how it actually looks on the TV series… :thinking

I HAVE MOST OF THESE BOOKS! :ChomperImAwesome It never occurred to me to take pictures of them and upload them here, but now I am going to do just that when I have the chance! I also have a really rare LBT comic book that I'll also have to post pics of!

@Sneak @chomper94 I'm starting a thread here to post photos of my books! I just finished uploading pics of the comic and will get started on the TV series books once I find them! :)
