Green would fit better I think, since much of the great valley is green and 2 of the gang of 5 are mainly green. Maybe some who have the skills can do some examples of design ideas and have some members, or fellow admin, vote on it or something.

Yeah, I'd think a very light green, almost white would fit. I'll just design a logo for the current design and we'll see if it'll work for a new theme. If not, I can always change some stuff. First however I need to know what logo I'll be replacing. Is this the one? It's dimensions are far from 150X150. but it's the only one I see besides the rather large green image with the gang. Is that the one I'll be replacing or will it be this one?:

You got it. The reason the logo isn't 150X150 is because somebody changed the dimensions of the wiki, as of when this thread was made, the wiki looked pretty much like Wikipedia, which uses a 150X150 logo. I guess that parameter doesn't apply any more.

As for flash objects or anything of the sort, that is definitely out of my level. If you want to talk directly to Users Wilhelmina Will & Saphirestar, they both have much more programming/coding skills than I do, since it was both of them that set up much of the "finishing touches" like the brown background, the logo, the non-Wikipedia layout...

(EDIT: I just realized that since you have a Wikipedia user profile, you probably already know this. Please disregard the micro-management in the last sentence)

One thing, they might just want to stick with the logo they've already got, but if it coms to a vote I'll back you up, and Kor probably will too, meaning we'll get 'em 3 to 2.

Well, no I don't have a wiki account of any kind. I've been discussed there by god knows who, but I certainly don't have an account. I'll talk to them and see what they say. If they can't find a place to host a flash animation, then I suppose they'll reject the idea.

Huh. This isn't you? The user even claims to be you, from the same IP address you're using on the LBT wiki. Or do you just mean that you don't use it much?

I've really just been messing around lately, but I've made this small flash application. It's nothing great, but I was just seeing about how to integrate it into the browser and it seems to work fine. It's currently hosted on my personal server, however I would recommend that the admin of LBT wiki wouldn't use my server to host the logo. It experiences 3.4% downtime, which is too much for professional use. Just use a hosting site like hotlinkfiles.com to host the swf file. Anyway, here's what I've got so far:

There's not much flexibility when the logo has to be so small. <_< I can only do so much. I was going to animate one of the characters as well. Perhaps all.
