LBT: A Life-saving Journey

This story is set after the first movie and during the early sequels (II-IV), and the plot is as follows: Outside the Great Valley a plauge is sweeping across the Mysterious Beyond killing everyting in it's path, and just as Ali's herd arrive, a single occupent in the valley becomes ill my OC, and the need for a cure is ever more nessesary....as some try to help, others attempt to rid the valley of the infected one...the cure is found in one special place....

I have the honor of making the first post...

It was a quiet and still night in the Great Valley, but even still one particular flyer couldn't sleep, his sleep stories keeping him awake. He stood up and shook his head clear, and deciided he was thirsty.

He walked over the nearest watering hole, and as he reached it and started drinking, he looked around and noticed his friends still sound asleep....

'I wish I cuold sleep too, but I keep dreaming about a cloud that's covering the entire Mysterious Beyond and when it passes over other dinosaurs all that's left are bones....I just don't understand what it means...'

The flyer then felt a tap on his back and turned around to see his rainbow-face uncle "Hi, uncle Cyrix." "Look Longtail I know these stories are worrying to you, but you really do need some sleep, it can't help you if you stay awake all day every day."

Longtail sighed and said "I know, it just scares me so much..." said the young flyer

OOC: I'll probably take Petrie and Littlefoot. I'll also introduce a Fastbiter character of me, and possibly a Sharptooth.

IC: Littlefoot blinked his eyes open. He still couldn't get to sleep. Littlefoot got up, turned around, and tried to get to sleep again. Still, he woke up a few moments later. He got up again, and looked around. Littlefoot yawned. What's keeping me awake..? He thought.

I think I take Ducky and Cera, mayby too Ruby.

Ducky was very tired, cause she didn¥t sleep for a long time. And Spike does this very load sleepsounds.
Spike! Please, could you stop this very loud sleepingsounds? I try to sleep. Ducky yawned. I am really wondering what for a meaning my strange dream has. I think I should ask Littlefoot tomorrow

But Ducky wasn¥t the only one who couldn¥t sleep.

OOC: IC means I.n C.haracter, OOC means O.ut O.f C.haracter. You're doing very good for a newcomer to RPing.

IC: A sliver of light slowy rose over the side of the mountains circling the valley. Littlefoot walked, being sure to silence his footsteps. He didn't want to wake anyone else up. Littlefoot was heading towards Ducky's family's pond. When he got there, he noticed Ducky was on her feet, and looked to have not slept all night. "Psst." He whispered. "Ducky, over here."

IC: Ducky looked at Littlefoot with a surprised look in her eyes. Oh, Littlefoot, I am so glad to see you, oh yes yes yes.

Along the way in Petries nest: Petrie was rolling with a shirty groaning from one side at the other. oooh, Me no think that I could sleep this night again. I think I should take a look for Littlefoot and the others. Mayby they cannot sleep too, he said with a hopefully look in is eyes.

OOC: Nimrod, I've already said I'll take Petrie. But Thanks for giving me somewhere to start from.

IC: Petrie edged to the end of his nest. "Oooh.. Me no sure about this. Maybe Me try get back to sleep!" He whispered. Fairly quickly after this attempt to sleep, Petrie found that he still couldn't sleep. "Well, me might as well go..." He lept off the edge of the nest, and took flight.

Littlefoot looked up. "Petrie? Is that you?" "Littlefoot!" The Flyer said, quietly, has he swooped down to land on his Longnecked friend's back. "Me could not sleep, so me though 'Me go see if me friends are awake!', and me go and see you not sleep niether!" Littlefoot looked over to Spike. "Well," He said, trying to keep a cheerful mood. "At least Spike got some sleep!" He whispered. Petrie looked too. "Spike sleep through anything."

IC: Cera came to the group. OH, my head is hurting so much, I ask me how Spike can sleep.

Ruby came to the group. well, I think we all have the same problem, isn¥t it so?
Ducky asks: Did you all have this strange dream?

OOC: Sorry, but Ruby hasn't come into the valley yet. This takes place between the first movie and the second movie, the second movie and the third movie, or the third movie and the forth movie. I guess I didn't notice you saying you were taking Ruby.

Longtail and Cyrix were almost back to their sleep place, but it was then Longtail noticed the gang standing around talking, he pointed towards them with his tail, and both the flyer and rainbow face walked over and Cyrix said in a hushed voice...

"You young ones can't sleep either?" Longtail frowned again and said "This can't be good. What kept the rest of you guys awake?"

Longtail looked shocked as he replied, "Did this sleep-story involve a sky puffy sweeping across the Mysterious Beyond and leaving bones in it's wake?" within his voice was a hint of fear.

That was very scary, oh yes it was. All was so dark and...ducky walked with a soft shake over her whole body to littlefoot and embraced his left leg. There was great concern in Littlefoot¥s eyes when he was looking down at ducky. He pressed his head softly at ducky, that she doesn¥t feel afraid any longer.

Don¥t going to be crazy guys, it¥s just a dream Cera said. Yes,Ducky answered. Her body was still shaking. But I think, there must be any reason that we all had the same dream

"Well.. maybe something's happening in the Mysterious Beyond." Littlefoot said, looking back at the mountains surronding the great Valley. "We could go and see!" Petrie frowned. "Me no go to Mysterious Beyond. Baaad things happen there."
