First post. Cool.

Anyway...I was on the internet awhile back and found something interesting...There was this video(I forget what it's called now. :cry  Sorry for no link here.) on youtube and it was about lost LBT tv series episodes. there were three, but I only remember two. One was Seperation in the Mysterious Beyond. And I looked it up but couldn't find ANYTHING. But I found a fanfic about it that probably was the best thing around.

And for the other one it was Return of the egg stealers. Obviously Ozzy and Strut popped into my head right away. I actually like them. Not to mention they had a really cool song. Hey I like it. So I searched for it and found a few things but couldn't find the episode. :cry

I'm really wondering what happened to them and what happened in them. Can anyone help? Thanks :)

I remember reading a post somewhere on this forum about the Egg Stealer episode. Most people agree it was a hoax, but someone mentioned it actually did air once in some countries, but was never seen again. Unfortunately, that's all I know of the lost episodes, sorry.

I forgot to post this the first time. Still, no news about return of the egg stealers or seperation in the mysterious beyond. :(  It's that if you don't have any information that you know is true or the episodes themselves don't worry it's fine. :D  Still, I do wonder what exactly became of them though...

Seperation in the Mysterious Beyond and The Return of the Egg Stealer are hoaxes.

When I heard the name "Seperation in the Mysterious Beyond," I thought it was just another name for Escape from the Mysterious Beyond. Which from what I've found it was.

*sighs* Yet another hoax that I bet the haters are fueling.  Can't they just stop and leave us be?  The Land Before Time is dead!  It's been closed for several years and there's still no word from Universal as to whether or not they'll put up something new for it.  If you absolutely feel like making these hoaxes, please do it with something else and leave us alone with our dead franchise!

Thank you!

Sorry about that, but yeah!  Yet another hoax.  Don't believe it, even if they say it's true.

And just a little shout out I DO NOT believe these were ever aired. I'm just trying to make sure. I know Land Before time is dead. I wish it weren't true but it is.

And to pokeplayer984 were you talking to me about being the hater? Because I absolutely LOVE the Land Before Time and would never lead people who love the series astray with infomation that wasn't true. I'm truely sorry if I offended you in anyway. :( And if you have the time could you please answer my question. Because I really don't like making people angry.

And Just to make sure everything is clear here I DO NOT belive in these episodes. All I'm trying to do is make sure about everything. And I always keep forgetting to post these things the first time. So I'll probably reply to my own posts every now and again to clear everything up. Sorry.

He did not mean you were the hater. People who come up with LBT episodes are according to Poke haters, because they have nothing better to do than annoy the fans ;)

Personally I don't even believe for those who make up hoaxes like "the return of the eggeaters" to be LBT haters. With all the rumors etc. I think that in most cases such hoaxes are more likely to be the products of LBT fans' wishful thinking. It is important though to tell rumors and facts, fiction and real life apart.
Nobody meant to attack you LBTDiclonius. In fact I think I am by no means the only one here delighted by the joining of someone as active and enthusiastic as yourself :yes

Okay, I want to start out by making one thing perfectly clear.  I, in no way, shape or form, saw you, LBTDiclonius, as a hater of The Land Before Time.  If you were, you most likely wouldn't be here to begin with unless it was to cause a lot of trouble in a very short amount of time.

Obviously, the posts I've seen from you clearly state that you are a fan, who wants to do nothing more than spend their time having fun and chatting here, which I appreciate.  We seriously need more active members on this forum.

In truthfulness, I did over-speculate on the origin of the hoaxes going on.  Now that I look at the titles, it is more likely that they do come from a fan's over-wishful thinking.

So, I apologize for my sudden outburst.  I'm sorry, and I'll try to keep it under control.

Sorry again and I'll see ya later!

Thanks for clearing that up pokeplayer984 you really scared me there thinking I was the hater. Yes I know that these episodes are hoaxes, but the reason I put up this was to see what everybody else thinks. I think I found my answer. Anyway, thanks again for clearing that up.

The "lost" episodes definitely don't exist. We'd know about it and they'd been released. Someone would have told us about it (I have ROTES hoax episode on the wiki page for the TV series explaining the reasoning as to why it was most certainly a hoax).
Growing up I was a big LBT fan and had seen all movies and TV series episodes. On the forum, I was formerly known as Hypnobrai until Nov 11, 2017.

In recent years, I have gained an interest in the production of The Land Before Time, particularly the deleted scenes of the original film. New discoveries have been made in the last few years and continue to be made, so I feel that it is a good time to contribute.

I have always loved sharpteeth more than any other creatures in the franchise, especially the fourteenth film's Carnotaurus, the fifth film's Sharptooth, and especially the original Sharptooth.

It would be a miracle if three aired TV episodes would disappear in modern times. Of course it's always cool to have something to speculate on but those  "lost" scenes or sequences should at least make sense. Three lost episodes in 2007 certainly don't.

Not the full animated scenes, no. You'll have to do some research on that.

I was recently browsing the TV Tropes page for the franchise and I come across this in the trivia page under the TV Series section:

Quote
When the show was still airing new episodes, there were two rumored episode titles, "The Sky-Fire Promise" and "The Longneck and the Cobbler", circulating around the internet. Assuming that either or both of these episodes actually existed at some point, no record of them has been found. note  However, it has been theorized that "The Sky-Fire Promise" was the Working Title for "Return to Hanging Rock"; it hasn't been officially confirmed, though.

I don't know if its credible and I tried to do some research but never found anything. I'm almost certain that it is a hoax, but I want to know if anyone else can confirm it.

Here's the link if you want to check it out yourselves:http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Triv...eLandBeforeTime
The information is at the very bottom of the page.
