Thanks for the comments. ;)
@Littlefoot Fan 1990: I'm not a professional, at least when it comes to drawings, I just have fun with it and picked up some stuff that can be used for drawings when I went to photography school for 3 years.
(In other words, it's like learning some basics and then messing around until stuff happens :lol if you like what you do and keep doing it, you'll get somewhere someday)

Onto art:

Petrie Vector Style Test

(for bigger size etc.)

(No shadow for the ground required, what a relief... #lazy)

...I shouldn't really call these "style tests" anymore, since the style is pretty much established for all the Top Trumps cards I'll make.
Eh, I think for a different name the next time, it's past 3 am and I wanna go to bed. xD

The finished card can be found in the project section of this forum.
And that's it, hope you like this one, aaaand...goodnight everyone. :)littlefoot

Looking good as always ;) The style really works for these cards. In terms of LBT fanart, I'd prefer your old style though (traditional sketch, digitally coloured)  ^^spike

Ducky123: Thanks. :)
The first few pictures with the style went on deviantart with the title "art style test" or something, but if I'm honest, there wasn't much testing. I pretty much had the idea and then went and did it. On some occasions I do plan ahead, and then I plan ahead a lot. But this wasn't the case here. :D

Petrie looks like he saw himself in the mirror and saying "Oooh. me all shiny!"

Shiny Ruby looks good too.

The finished card will come later today for a change. I don't know the exact time but it'll happen. The values are figured out already as well, so it won't take a lot of time.

Hope you guys will like this one and until next time. :)littlefoot

Time to bring this topic back after quite some time. :D

SDP Sketch

A wile ago I did a (not so) quick sketch of a scene from Ducky123's fanfiction Shorty's Dark Past
Shorty's Dark Past (definitely recommend that story) and I felt like going all the way on it with color. It's still a little rough here and there because I didn't copy the sketch on another paper though, as I usually do.

The process of making it a digital picture and also coloring was streamed on twitch. More art streams (including LBT but not only) will probably happen somewhat regularly from now on. If you're interested, you can follow this account and turn on mail notifications, so you'll know when I'm live.

It's up to you of course. :)

Hope you like this picture and until next time. :)

This looks great! I think the roughness of it actually adds to the texture of the barren landscape, it works out really well. Great rendition of the scene, too, I recognized it as soon as I saw it :lol

By which you mean you recognised the scene from SDP?  :lol

Well, I saw this being coloured here live and I must say the process is much trickier than I imagined :lol I really hope we are going to see more of your LBT art soon since you're one of the best, don't try to deny that (though next time you don't start a stream about a scene from my fanfic without me lol  ^^spike and I'll try to give you more scenes from SDP to draw ) :p

This is a nice picture, presenting the scene in a realistic, believable way. The colors suit the desolate  landscape but I feel the lighting could have done even more to highlight the coming sunset. Littlefoot and Ali's poses are natural and deliver the feeling of the scene. Overall, I find good drawings based on the fanfics such as this  always enjoyable as I find it a great way to mix writing and drawing. Anyway, I'm happy to see more pictures from you!
