Title: "Y'see, I've beeen having these sleep-stories..."
Post by: Allicloud on May 07, 2011, 05:20:45 AM
Anyone here recently had a particularly odd or vivid or scary dream? Post them here! I'll get the ball rolling:

Last night, I had another of my dreams where I remember 3 scenarios that are apparently irrelevant.

Scenario 1: Some sort of fancy hotel. Everything is some sort of pastelle green colour. I was in the dining room, where there were several tables laid for breakfast or something. I think it may have been a dockside hotel in some coastal resort.

Scenario 2: No idea where this came from, a Land Before Time song. It was like, the characters doing a song that doesn't exist, in a movie that never happened. I just remember that it was apparently an extremely sad song, becase Petrie and Ducky were crying, and the one lyric I remember is Ducky's line of "...Hands filled with tears...". I also remember that Mama Longneck played some part in it all too, appearing at the end. I think her lines were something to do with Littlefoot forgetting her or something... Man, I really wish I could remember how it went, because it was amazing. I'm so creative when I'm unconscious!

Scenario 3: Some sort of wasteland, where a charcter was wandering about, helping lone people. He comes across one person covered with tiny dormant spiders, who are apparently waiting to devour him. Th chaacter picks him up to comfort him, and the man smiles at him and says something I can't remember. Then he loos in the distance with shokand fear, and we see that the swarms of spiders are some sort of first wave of a hug biomechanical army, complete with 6-legged walkers, planes, humanoid soldiers, etc (I distinctly remember one shot of a soldier gesturing to a walker, which crouches down b him. The soldier aparently wips smething offthe "eye" of the walker, and gives it a thumbs-up). Then the character looks down at the mand and he's just a skeleton, and the spiders are all scuttling off of him. There was also something about babies faling from the sky too, but I was almost awake by then, so it's hard to remember.

Man, I wish I could figure out what this means!

Whoa! No replies in this thread yet?

Any way, I've recently had a dream where Pterano was my uncle!

It all started off with a bunch of new Pterano artwork on DA and it was supposed to be scenes from a book. Then all of a sudden, a new LBT comes out featuring Pterano. Petrie is all grown up and he and his uncle go on many adventures like through the Land of Mists and stuff like that. My whole family hears about the new movie and decides to come from all over Wa-JUPITER(  One month later and I still can't get over that dang joke!  ) to watch it with me in my living room and heres the strange part...

SO DID PTERANO AND PETRIE!!!!!!!

So yeah, Pterano was my uncle and Petrie was my cousin.

Strange dream, eh?  :lol

I had a dream about Scream, the movies. Basically it was the same as the movies, Ghostface going around butchering everybody. Sadly, I did not make it to the end. Scary thing was I felt the stab. It jerked me awake. Whoever said pain can't be felt in a dream was just downright lying.  :p

Well, just be thankful that you did wake up. People say that if something kills you in a dream, your brain will believe you've been killed, and you die in real life. That's why you always wake up before you hit the ground.

That's an odd rumor. Can the brain produce such a strong stimulus as to shutdown a healthy vital organ? People with bad hearts can suffer a heart attack in a very stressful situation, but it won't happen to a healthy person. The only emotion that could possibly kill a healthy person is fear. A crippling, paralyzing fear. As in being dropped from a height of 10 kilometers without a parachute. Dreams are only simulations of reality. Can a dream really be so intense? I dreamt once I was drowning, I was suffocating, I died, I was conscious after that but didn't feel my body anymore (the brain simulating an afterlife), and I awoke perfectly fine.

To be honest, I've died in my dreams plenty of times. And the dream continues without me, yet I see that dream go on as sort of an overseer. It's quite bizarre.

I never have gory dreams. I have dreams where people die but there's never any blood. It's like my brain censors it all.
I had a dream once where everything was in slow motion. It was the strangest feeling. It feels like running through water, I guess would be the best way to describe it.

I have a doozy. I had a dream about Michael Meyers  :o
Short version, me and 7 other people were trapped in an office building several floors up. Michael wanted one of the girls' baby (why does she have a baby in the work place!) He starts killing everyone. At some point in the dream, I managed to take his knife and runaway (odd in my opinion) and I hid in a closet. Of course in a dream, POV isn't inhibited to just yours. So I see Michael stab a guy, throw someone out the window, slash some girl's neck, smash a guys head in the printer, shred some girl in a paper shredder (he must have used a lot of force), and stab one girl, but she managed to get away (don't know what happened to her.) So the dream switches back to my POV and I hear the girl with the baby trying to find a place to hide and she starts screaming and then there's no more scream. Silence, except for the baby's crying (again why did she bring the baby to the workplace). Michael breaks down the door to the closet. I'm paralyzed with fear but he doesn't kill me. He just takes his knife and walks off into the shadows. Let it be known that this is the first dream similar to this one in which I actually survive to the end. The dream ends with me walking out the building and being sprayed by a dolphin that was in a pool in front of the building

Since I like sharing my dreams, especially the fun ones, I will double post.
I had a sort of apocalyptic dream last night. So it starts out with me and some friends camping out in front of dam (*shrug*). It was a natural dam, made of earth, that had a road built over it. We were there for a field trip (*shrug* again). By the way, we were on the stream side of it, since I'm sure that there would be nowhere to camp on the reservoir side. Anyways, it was sometime in the middle of the day and I decide I want to climb to the road on top of the dam (things get weird from here on). My friend, who's name is also Justin, climbs, too while his girlfriend and some other girl-I think her name was Christine or Christina-watch. Anyways, suddenly the POV in the dream switches to another bridge not far away from our location, built over a larger river. The POV is of some kid in a car and he sees the water starting to drain down a crack. The crack widens and water continues draining down into it. The crack starts traveling towards our direction. The POV changes sort of to a camera POV and follows as the crack starts moving towards us at an abnormally fast rate (it is a dream). Switch back over to me who has reached the top of the dam and is on the road. Suddenly, I feel the ground shake. The ever expanding crack has grown wider. Suddenly, (apparently the earth below the road was not tightly packed) the earth making up the damn crumbles down into campsite below. The road buckles as the crack spreads. Then the cracks ceases its advancement. The water trapped on the other side is released and spills onto the camp below, sweeping away the people below. At the time the road buckled, I was standing just by the side of where it crumble and nearly fell down with it. I managed to get back onto the road. Moving on, Justin calls for his girlfriend below, hoping she hadn't gotten washed away. As it turns out, her and Christine (or Christina?) had decided to try and climb the dam, too, and had not been on the ground below. We pull them up as they reach the road, and we all watch as the reservoir continues pouring more water. The dream ends with someone saying, "I guess the end of the world is here."
I don't even know.
Anyways, it was almost like watching a "could be good, could be bad", end-of-the-world type B movie.

You've obviously been watching too much Halloween, thus creating the night where he came into your dream  :lol

Strangly though, I had a dream last night where I was being hunted by Freddy Krueger(how fitting), the original Freddy(not that watered down version in the remake). He was cracking jokes and doing his thing until I told him about the horrible 2010 remake and his face suddenly had a look of horror, and he screamed "Damn you Samuel Bayer(who directed the remake)" and just like that...

He was gone.

Oh, now I had one hell of a dream last night. Sadly, I've almost completely forgotten it.

All I remember about it is that it involved a door that opened to a different timeline each time it opens. As best I can recall, I was with some friends, among them Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy, in some sort of big castle or manor or something, and Twilight and I walk through this big wooden door and see tonnes of people in old fashioned clothes, working like old Victorian servants. When I look back at the doorway, there is nobody else in the hall where I came from. Then it closes and opens again and again and again, and on the third time, it opened and more Victorian people were through the doorway on the other side. Eventually some of my other friends get through to the same time period as me, asking where I went, claiming that they opened the door over and over again to try to find me. So we walk around among the Victorian people, but none of them notice us, like we're ghosts or something.

Needless to say, it was awesome. I dunno why, but I remember waking up and thinking that it was awesome. I guess there are some other bits here and there that I forgot.

My god.....last night I had a weird one. Hell, some parts I think I was awake, which worries me.
Okay......well, it involved several scenes with  the LBT characters fighting zombie raptors (my steady stream of L4D and the copy of World War Z I got for Chistmas is probally to blame here) and a bit where I was chased by a black widow the size of a blue crab into a 5 foot crocodile, who promptly ripped off my leg. Now here are the ones that I thought were real, due to the fact it was in my room: some weirdo on this forum uploaded a story who's content matter would probally offended people, and the weirdest, which I'm sure you'll find more funny than odd, but here goes: my bearded dragon, quite fittingly named Spike, started TALKING TO ME. Now, while most of you think that's funny I was creeped out by that, I didnt know if I was dreaming, AND the entire thing took place inside my room. He wasnt exactly nice ethier. I feel like I may have actually been in a form of sleepwalking when that happened, my subconscious may have still been dreaming, and I may have "modified" what I saw so to speak. I've also had a dream where I was in an abandoned version of my neighborhood, being attacked by........something I coudnt see. I've even had dreams where everything turns into a musical! Left 4 Dead, MW3, Let Me In, Nightmare on elm street, even Godzilla....yes, GODZILLA. I really don't know why, and I don't want to.

I was in 4th mode then 1st mode during this dream so it was like tangible in some ways...

Anyway, I looked around my room and saw a smooth piece of metal that went throught my body, right under my chin, to the wall and wrapped around back (like a belt)  Then, the room began to move farther away.  It went father and father and father.  THen the metal piece flipped to it's edge and began moving.  I had no reaction since it was smooth so I just sat still.  Then the metal became bent and distorted and became sharp as it was gliding down my chin.  I could feel the pain.  Then, I saw a sharptooth come by and destroy my room and made the metal worse.  It looked at me with its gleaming eyes and snapped, which is when I woke up screaming.

Pretty weird right?

Okay... I had a weird one last week.

I had a dream that my classmate died for some reason, sickness I think, and everyone was feeling bad about her death, me included. She likes music, so in her "deathday" card there was a bunch of instruments. Then I woke up.

The first thing I did when I saw her was say, "Good to see you alive."   :smile

I had a dream the other day about being trapped in a large, underground facility, which reminded me of an old insane asylum, with a random group of people. The culprit: some rich lady who enjoyed watching helpless people get slaughtered by her "pets," which happened to be giant-sledgehammer-wielding trolls. She only had 3. We got rid of one, but the other two murderously destroyed our group. Only one of us got out. It wasn't me though. I was the last to go. It was a sacrificial death. Right when I and the other person, a woman, found a way out, we were confronted by the two trolls. I got the attention of both trolls and told the woman to run for the escape, which we had just managed to reach. After that, my final moments were me rolling out of the way of one of the troll' sledgehammer and then being hit by the other. My perspective then changed to third-person as it followed the woman's escape, which almost didn't happen as one of the trolls nearly caught up to her. She rode an elevator to the top floor. As she got to the front door of the building, she found that it was locked. The rich woman, impressed by what she had seen, opened the door (from a control room) and allowed her to escape. The woman runs through the woods until she comes across a road. Not far down the road are a cluster of trailers, most of which are empty of residents. As she is about to approach one of the trailers for help, an ambulance drives up and takes someone out of one of the empty trailers. The woman goes to look into the ambulance to see who it was, and, as soon she looks into the ambulance, I wake up.

In the very wide mix of my dreams from last night, one of our cats who died in about 2004, Bengal, was still alive for some reason and was just living with someone else, and brought back to us after many years. Or something like that. For some reason, it wasn't always a cat, at some point an Asian baby was involved (one about 6 to 9 months old). But I kept thinking "Bengal's back with us...this is heartbreakingly awkward".

And now I'm feeling a little down because I don't have a ton of STRONG memories of him :( .

I remember having this 2-scenario dream back in April of 2011 or so. It was probably one of my most memorable dreams I've ever had.

Here's how it went:

Scenario 1: I'm sitting down, watching an episode of "The Smurfs" that never actually exists. A song ends up being played in a scene involving Papa Smurf and Greedy, which is an 80's style ballad, filled with synthesizers, drum machines, stuff I love about a lot 80's ballads. I was breathtaken when seeing this. I only wish it was for real though!

Scenario 2: I'm at my grandma's house where I now currently reside (I live next door to there; our house is a condominium), sitting on a couch on her Sony "VAIO" computer, looking up YouTube videos. I must've been looking up along the lines of "Yogi's First Christmas" or something like that. Suddenly, the "Avast! virus database has been updated" announcement pops up, and that's was when I woke up, realising that my dream that I hoped was real was all a fake!

What a disappointing dream. Oh well...I'll have better ones, I'm sure!

Epic dream last night! By now though, I've forgotten some of it.

Scenario 1: Me and my family are sitting home when I suddenly see a truck displayed with a local news station logo on it. Then, Publishers Clearing House stops by to announce that we are the newest millionaires! We have the time of our lives! (BTW, this might actually come true, as we are pending to win this giveaway. Stay tuned!)

Scenario 2: I'm sitting inside a cafe or something, filled with quite a few big screen TVs. I don't even remember what I'm doing in that dream, because I was nearly awake by then.

I so wish the PCH miracle can come true!

I have very weird and vivid dreams all the time.   A lot of them are morbid. Some aren't... I had a dream a while ago that I was decorating my bathroom, but instead of buying bath rugs at the store like a normal person, I snuck into this underground fight club, disguised as a man, to steal these fluffy baby blue rugs out of their men's restroom/shower/locker room.

Last night I had a dream in which I was trying to help this girl, who had accidentally gotten involved with this scary cult-slash-secret society of Cylon-like android imposters that was openly trying to take over the world. There was this resistance group which had encouraged her at first to try to help them infiltrate the cult, but then she got scared and didn't show up for one of the cult's meetings, and they caught on to her and were trying to capture her so they could turn her into one of them for reals. I was supposed to help her escape, and it was crucial that she did so because she had this amulet(?!) thing (I don't know how to describe it, it kept changing shape--sometimes it looked like a lego velociraptor, or a crystal pendant, or a dead anole lizard) which would help decide if the cult took over the world or if the resistance would beat them. I had to infiltrate the cult inside their library-based headquarters in order to get close enough to her to help her escape, so then once the jig was up they were after me too. There was a brief car chase, and at one point we were running through this field which had rows of theater seats instead of crops, which was really difficult. I kept tripping over seats and getting my pant legs snagged. It ended with the two of us being cornered at gunpoint by this cult... I woke up before anything else could happen but I don't think it would have ended in our escape.

(Forgive the double post!)

Last night (or was it the other night? IDK), I had a dream in which the original LBT was on...yet it was completely different somehow. All I know is that it seemed to be a musical of some sorts, plus I thought a bit of Mr. Tavera's soundtrack ended up on there, almost as if Mr. Horner was conducting it instead! I've almost completely forgotten it, sadly.  :(

Two days ago, I had a rather peculiar dream.

I can't really describe the scene very well, but I guess you could think of it as if I was in some kind of action movie on a team of the good guys. We're trying to sneak past some guards, but as soon as they notice us, I knew a gun battle was about to start, so I immediately dove for cover, not only because I didn't want to get shot at but also because I was apparently the only one who didn't even have a gun. Eventually, one of the bad guys managed to get past my cover and as he aims his gun at me, I shout, "Please don't kill me! I'll do anything you want! I'll do anything you say! Just please let me live!" I don't remember the details that followed, but what basically happened was that things ended up for the better for me and my fellow good guys.

What make this dream so strange to me is that, if I was actually placed in a situation like that, my reactions would be almost exactly like that. In other words, no matter what the scenario, I will always go with whatever option that allows me to keep on living. I honestly don't care what the consequences may be, I just don't ever want to die...

I had a dream the other night about someone undergoing a metamorphosis - but unlike Kafka's, it was really, really bloody, and graphic.
This woman was transforming into some kind of daemon with wings. It was just so bizarre. She was screaming in pain, the wings were unfurling, and I didn't get to see the end result. Gaah, I woke up with a mixture of "Hey, that was kinda cool, never had that type of dream before" and "WTF just happened? O_o"

The oddest Land Before Time dream I ever had was one in which the entire movie was reinacted with muppet versions of the main characters.

^Now that's a cool dream!

I once dreamt I was watching a Land Before Time movie on TV, and it had subtitles (LBT is mostly dubbed into foreign languages, not subtitled, since part of it's intendend audience can't read) but it wasn't anything I could remember from any real LBT movie.

Just had a dream. It was long, and I can't remember all of it, but I remember the end. I often dream of suburban labyrinths: imagine a vast swath of tightly packed neighborhoods and yards that stretched so far it seemed like a small city. This one was interesting because it was the first time one of these suburban labyrinths took on the characteristics of where I currently live: utah. There were steep inclines, valleys, and mountains far in the distance. But in this particular dream, it was at night. I was with a young girl, and we were trying to get away from soneones. We crept out the back door of one of the houses onto a high porch, and jumped down on the squishy, Soddy grass below and tried to walk away as quickly and casually as possible. There were lights-- Christmas lights-- in some of the windows of the houses (the mood was not cheerful) and suddenly the young girl I was with jumped in fright and said their was someone on the eleventh floor of a nearby window that was watching us. The Christmas decorations turned the suburban maze into something of a hyper decorated maze of Futuristic Christmas buildings, and when I turned to see what she was talking about, I saw an old woman behind a series of glass windows, beconing us up on a giant clockwork lift. She seemed incredibly familiar to me. When we got up she said something about cake that me suspicious. End of dream.

I had a dream that my nephew fell into a pond and I couldn't find him. In the end he floated up alive but I was very panicked. I hate when my subconscious plays on my fears.  :(

^Tell me about it.  I had a really bad one last night that my instinct tells me was entirely my subconscious messing with me.

In the dream I was a heavy drinker and had a messy house, and I went to a party with a bunch of people.  A lot of the people had too much to drink and they were saying and believing things they wouldn't say or listen to if they were sober.  This person sitting next to me then started talking about how they had gotten a good friend of mine fired from their job simply because they gossip, and how they would have to go to council if they wanted any hope in getting their job back.  I then jumped up and started screaming at this person what a liar they are, how they have no authority over anyone to begin with, and how there is no such thing as a "council", and that they're telling nothing but lies and ruining peoples' reputations.  This person tried to apologize half-heartedly but I stormed off, screaming that they've done enough damage and to stay away from me.

I then found a quiet place and was looking at the night sky while crying hard and shouting out wishes and feelings I've only been saying internally for the past 9 months, and there were a LOT of shooting stars in the sky.  There were trees around, and I think I remember seeing an owl.  I then said I'd text this friend the next day, and went into a housing building different from the one I really live in.  As I went into the building, I was noticing certain numeric patterns.  I showered and started cleaning up my house, and I was about to drink another beer but put it away, saying enough is enough.  I then received a text message from my friend saying everything this person said at the party was a lie and they still have their job.  Somehow I had telepathically communicated with this person.  Then I woke up at around 1:30AM and couldn't sleep until after 3AM.

To me, that first paragraph represents everything I would never want to be: messy, heavy drinker, depressed, even confrontational unless necessary.  The people represented people I would never associate myself with either.  The part about my good friend being fired was a way my subconscious was playing on fears.  This person is not the type who would spread rumors about people, and as far as I know, one cannot be fired for simply being a gossiper.  There has to be more to the story.

The second paragraph represents me getting rid of any negativity or not letting the negativity of others get the best of me.  Shooting stars are good luck symbols, owls in dreams are telling you to pay careful attention to that particular moment in a dream, and the number sequences I saw all happen to be karma numbers (for those who believe in numerology).

That was a crazy dream alright :crazy.

I've never had dreams like that.
My dreams either play on my fears or they're just completely random and a combination of just about anything and everything I have ever experienced. I'm either a survivor in a dinosaur apocalypse or running away from a tornado.  :lol
My fear dreams are never fun though. I remember one dream where I was trying to hide from a tornado but no matter where I hid, there it was outside the window, which every room (even the bathroom, though not in real life) had. I have lilapsophobia, and my subconscious loves to have fun with this. I think a good percentage of my dreams have been tornado related, and they always freak me out because of how real they are compared to my other dreams.

I had a really bad dream when I was a kid that involved me being hunted down and tormented mercilessly by the Haunted Mask and that I desperately needed to be saved from it. It's way too horrifying to go into details, but I was saved... by an extremely powerful double team of Kermit and Master Crane from Kung Fu Panda. I had been saved and massively protected by the power of their love for me... that monster's only brutal weakness.

The theme of the dream was the pain and fear that I was feeling at that time due to a lack of control over my Aspergers Syndrome as well as other turmoils and struggles I faced... That horrible freak of nature symbolized all of it...

Kermit and Master Crane immediately coming to my aid and rescue symbolized that even in the midst of all those dark and troubling times, I had NOT given up hope, and that there was absolutely no way I was going to give up... I was going to keep moving/pushing forward. That's precisely what I did... thanks to the two of them and everyone else who backed me up, I ended up defeating and conquering all of those demons. Now they're nothing but a distant, forgotten memory of my past.

I really wish I had dreams like that. Mine are usually a jumbled mess, probably representing the flurry that is my thoughts.

I had a dream a few weeks ago that frightened me. First, a while back-not sure how far back-I had a dream where there was some kind of party. I'm fairly certain it was a Halloween party. I don't really remember the party part. It was when the party started dying down that things got ugly. There was this guy who was being a real jerk to me. There was an argument and a scuffle that ended with me hitting him in the head with a picture. Unfortunately, it was glass and it ended up cracking his skull. Well, he died. My sister and I ended up hiding the body. The next day, the police of course came by asking us if we knew where he was. We said no. The end of the dream ended when we were at school but I don't remember that part. So, the dream a few weeks ago turns out to be a follow-up dream. I had forgotten about the whole incident. I ended up having a dream about it and the memory resurfaced. I asked my sister if it was true and she showed me where we buried the body. Needless to say that I started freaking out. It was at this revelation that I woke up, and for the next hour or so, I laid on the couch, wondering if it was all true. The dream was so real, the memory that played so believable. I fell asleep again and I ended up telling the police in my dream about it. I woke up around the time they were interrogating me. Even then, for a good portion of the day, I wondered if it was true. That day goes down as one of the scariest days of my life. The intensity at which I believed it scared me to the point where I really almost called the police. Of course, as the day went on, my fear ebbed away. I've never been to any kind of party, and after that I will never go to one.

^ Dang, what are you guys doing to merit such bizarre dreams? Creepy and dark and dramatic and intense :o

Well, I remember one dream I had several years ago that ended up scaring me out of my wits that I woke up, shooting off my pillow in a blind panic.
Two children had the ability to see these ghosts that had formed a sort of dark cult thingy in order to returned to flesh and blood creatures. One of their members had strayed and was preying on humans or something really really bad like that. Basically, the black sheep of the flock. Anyway, towards the end of the dream, the misfit ghost had been recaptured by the main group and then all of a sudden, they started dancing this really, really creepy sort of dance, chanting in really low voices, and the misfit started screaming. I woke up then. all i really remember is that it really reminded me of how Zigzag the wizard died in Thief and the Cobbler...

Sleeping. :p
If I were to analyze both dreams, I would have to say they are a contrast to how I was and how I am. Like I said, I was planning to actually call the police. Let's just say I was in a dark place around the time of the first dream.

I was having this really great dream where I had gone on a school field trip (I don't know why but I have a lot of dreams of being back in school) and we had gone to this ... simulation thing where it simulated some kind of alien attack aboard spacecraft, very Dead Space-esque. It was fun and exhilarating, though I don't know why the school would take us on a field trip there . Plus it was a very realistic simulation. I swear a few people actually died. I remember one part where me and several others were trying to outsmart this huge alien that kind of resembled a dog in shape. It definitely didn't look like one, and it was about 4 times the size of a great dane. We were in this room trying to find out what had happened, and it burst through from the next room. We started shooting it with our space weapons, but it was a strong bugger. It ended splitting us up, chasing me through a bunch of hallways. It almost got me, but I found a room it couldn't get into. I think it was a room in which to drink tea. A friend distracted it for me, and I escaped. We ended up leading it back to the room where we first encountered it and shot it down there. That was around the end of the simulation.
When it was over, my friends and I were eating in the cafeteria, and they had a nice assortment of treats: chips, drinks, candies, ice cream, pies, and CHEESECAKES. When we were done with our lunch, I offered to buy cheesecake for them, and when I went to pick one out, they had all turned into pies!  I really wanted a cheesecake. So, I kept looking for one. Every time I would see one, I would go to pick it up and it would turn into a stupid pie! Then, it was time for us to go. :anger I never got my cheesecake. :cry
It was a very silly dream. :lol

Well, this dream was cheerful. :p

The flyer trio were living in my place alla Toy Story. They were toys of some type, accurately portraying the personalities of the characters. Sierra was in his machismo attitude as usual. He was going to try to pull something, plot to mess with another toy then leave my room for good. Pterano was for this, but only partly, because he adored the extra attention I gave him. So while I wasn't looking, Sierra was trying to fly away, though him not being great at landing, does crash and shatters to many pieces.

I am putting him in the trash bag because there was no way to repair him. Rinkus looks on in shell shock, feeling numb by what happened to his friend. Pterano tries to comfort Rinkus but more ion a "there, there, chin up" way.

Just want to say it's been awhile since I dreamt about any of these characters.

I had an interesting dream just last night.

It started with a news story telling of a staircase leading to another land inside a Toys-R-Us. This land in fact happened to be the Mysterious Beyond. The city takes the time to tear down the Toys-R-Us, quarantining the area. And for reasons I can't explain I walked through the police barricade with my official credentials being a MOD for the GOF. Surprisingly they let me through and upon walking down the stairs I literally changed into Longtail. Once the change was complete I had to climb down a cliff wall and halfway down Littlefoots Grandmother was there. She asked me why I was so far out in the Mysterious Beyond, and the response I gave with my own voice was "I have to see this through!" She then carried me down the rest of the way and once we reached the bottom of the cliff face I came face to face with Littlefoot, Zaine, Dante, and the two Rainbow Faces from the seventh movie. And with that all of us just walked off into the sunset.

It was fun and I hope to enjoy another dream like this comes along soon.

Just pasting what I posted elsewhere:

I had a dream of a character I initially disliked (Topsy Threehorn) make snide remarks about me, I went in his face and basically went, “Hold up, I didn't hear you completely. Go ahead and say it to my face, eye contact and all.” And we were in a public place where EVERYONE could see a 127 lb something woman standing up against a dinosaur 20 times her size. He tried to dismiss me, not having the stomach to make eye contact and yet I kept pursuing him. It felt great that I could intimidate him like that and really corner him. I woke up too early though, so I didn't get the satisfaction of seeing his response.

I keep having dreams where I take my bike and leave my house to go somewhere, but then can't find my way back and it starts getting dark. I have no idea why I dream that so often, in the summer I bike ride to the park a lot but I have no problem getting back even if it starts getting dark.

I will say though I find dreams in general very disturbing no matter what kind they are. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it is such a lonely, depressing, isolated feeling when I have them and then remember them later. Whenever there is people in my dream, even my own family, they rarely even acknowledge me when I call out to them, even when they do speak i can never remember what they said, and whenever im running or in danger, everybody just stares at me lifelessly. I really dont like the feeling at all and its always a relief when I wake up from them to know that the real world still exists and I'm not alone.

To me it sounds like your dreams might express your actual feelings about your place in the real world.

As for me, for quite some time I have been having dreams where I am at my old elementary school or high school and doing very poorly compared to the other students, so much so that my teachers are either mad with me or openly mock me.

This is the exact opposite of what actually happened. I was one of the top performing students both in elemetary school and high school, and I had some really good friends and was generally liked and respected.

I reckon it might have something to do with my quitting university and current unemployment.

I had a dream involving meeting Michael York and his wife at some kind of resort. I was excited beyond all reason, but for some reason he just seemed grumpy unhappy. Didn't even look like either of them and his voice was different. But I kinda figured it had something to do with his cancer, subconciously.

While dealing with the weirdness of that situation, I went off to watch a live show which was even weirder than the encounter. It was ocean themed, I'm sure, and I recognized two characters that were dolphins.

It was odd and unsettling. Didn't even feel like a dream at first
