Title: Introducing ShareLBT.com
Post by: landbeforetimelover on November 30, 2010, 10:55:37 PM
Well my old domain name (http://lbtserver.co.cc (http://lbtserver.co.cc)) has come to an unfortunate end.  They wanted $3/year from me to keep my domain so I decided to buy a brand new one that's actually a .com.  The new domain for the LBT Server is as follows:

www.sharelbt.com (http://www.sharelbt.com)

I have big plans for the LBT Server including remote account signup and a real custom members area.  I'm not exactly sure how to implement it yet, but I'm going to do my best.  And with special coupon codes and such I was able to get the domain for only $5.  Definitely worth it.  Stay tuned for special updates of the server.  As soon as I have time to do them, I'll implement them immediately. :D

Looks good Austin! $5 is not bad! For what period is this? How many years will you have the domain for? :)

LOL.  I actually had a chance to get the domain for $1 but the coupon code expired just hours before.  But I'm not complaining $5/year for a .com domain name is great.  And to answer your question, it's registered for a year at $5.

As for the new features and development of the LBT Server, I've had severe connection issues here so I haven't been able to do much lately.  I need the internet to help me when I get stuck or need to know how to do something with the code.  As much as I'd like to be, I'm nowhere near fluent in PHP/MySql.  Hell, I'm not even fluent in Javascript yet.  It's just HTML and CSS that I can code in my sleep. :p

Lol just hours before? That sucks :p Anyway $5 for 1 year isn't bad for a .com domain, no :) I'm sure you'll learn MySql in time, though I'm not gonna try it. lol
