As of right now, my second tattoo I plan on getting is a stylized version of the Japanese proverb in my signature, which translates to "Fall seven times, stand up eight." As for the polynesian tattoo, I hope to get a band around my calf. I'm also thinking of maybe having a small lizard on my back. As for the Japanese tattoo, that's way too far in the future to think about!

I have had five dogs, one died of old age, three we gave away, and one my family still has. I also had five fish, and two birds. First thing, when I move out of my dorm, I am buying a pet lizard for sure!

What kind of lizard do you think you’ll get when that time comes?

(I think lace monitors are sometimes kept as pets, though they’re probably tough to care for, and are also venomousóprobably not the ideal first reptile pet.)

I'm thinking about a small lizard, along the lines of an alligator lizard or something like that. I do know that monitor lizard species come in a variety of sizes and some small, but I hear they're very expensive.

Having taken care of a leopard gecko, I can tell you that they make very nice reptile pets.

I’ve heard that bearded dragons are another good option. Anoles and iguanas, however, apparently require more cost and maintenance, and are not recommended for beginning reptile hobbyists.

Though I do like some snakes such as rattlers, I tend to lean more towards lizards as my overall favorite reptile family.

As far as mammals are concerned, I like canines. I grew up with always having a dog, so naturally I have a like for them too.

I did see True Grit a couple weeks ago. I'm not a huge fan of Westerns, but I'd have to say that it really was a great movie with a lot of authenticity. That and I'm a huge Coen Brothers fan. I wouldn't be surprised if Inception beat it out for Best Picture, but at least it was nominated for it.
