Well, I just discovered the world of installing different desktop environments on one distro! I now have the Unity and KDE Plasma desktop environments on my Ubuntu partition, in addition to the ones that came out of the box (GNOME 3 is the new default one for Ubuntu as of 17.10, which was the first versioin I had). Installing the KDE environment legit seems to have turned my regular Ubuntu into Kubuntu, based on the startup screen now saying "Kubuntu" :p . I really love KDE Plasma, though.

Here is my KDE Plasma desktop with Ubuntu (now Kubuntu though) 18.04 LTS (pics of my other ones are coming soon):
