What do you think? Is it as possible for a villain to return as it is for a goood guest character to?

I think that the eggeaters Ozzy and Strut had a guest appearance in LBT 4. At least the two eggsnathers at the head of the column of eggsnatchers that jumps into that river in the land of mists look exactly like them.
I included Ozzy and Strut in my LBT story "The Cold Time", which I'm posting in the fanfiction section at the moment (but there are quite a few chapters to go before they will appear).

LBT 2 you mean. Ozzy and Strut appear in that not LBT 4. that Icky and Dil that appear in LBT 4. the almost team working sharp beak and bellydragger.

Where did those bullies go? :p  While they're not exactly "bad guys" they still must be young if Littlefoot and Co. still are.  :lol

Can't disagree there. They seemed to just vanish into thin air.

Read my message more carefully Threehorn. I was writing a guestappearance Ozzy and Strut had in LBT 4. Originally they are from LBT 2 of course.

It is harder for villians to come back than good guys. I mean its harder to create a purpose for them to be in another film, after all the kids already beat them.

Technically they didn't beat the bullies...they can still come back. ;)  Same thing happened with Pterano...he could conceivably return. ;)

Also, even if they did beat a villain (in the cases of the bullies and Pterano it is a disputable question whether or not they are to be considered villains) it would right away give a reason for the villains reappearance. Revengefulness.

Revenge makes for weak plots if you think about it though. ;)

Of it's on it certainly does. Yet I didn't say that it was the only or the central topic of a story. Yet I could imagine something like this for a character like Ozzy, or Rinkus and Sierra.

Revenge is a factor, but you could also have coincidence. The villian just happens to run into the gang.

And revenge (especially in case of herbivore villains) would be the reason for the villain not to say "Hi!" and move on.

Revenge is kind of the reason I think Chomper's parents did get Scrut and Ozzie, as Ozzie was very much a grudge holder. So I think they are very likely the two villains we will never see again.

^ Well, in that case Chomper's parents had a legit reason for attacking Ozzie and Strut (not so much revenge)...harming their little tyke. ;)

Coming back just to "get back at those kids" really is shallow unless there was some legit reason for wishing revenge.

Well, if Ozzie was out to them over one egg, I think almost getting eaten by sharpteeth as the result as their most recent encounter would be enough to get Ozzie thinking overtime about who to get back at them.

When I'm talking of revenge I don't really mean that Ozzy and Strut would take whatever efforts to get their revenge. But if they would come across Littlefoot and the others by chance I suppose the previous events would make them particularly nasty foes.

Hmm...can't agree with that statement Arvens!  :p  I liked KILL BILL and that was a pretty sharp plot! Anywho, Im actually quite surprised that Pterano isnt making a reappearance in the upcoming #12!!! I know he not technically a baddie but it's a shame he's not scheduled to come back...a real downer in my opinion!  :(
