The change of cabinett that was noted over here in the press was the replacement of (comperatively moderate) Colin Powell through (hardliner) Condoleeza Rice. It was interpreted as a signal that Mr. Bush is going to continue his "policy" from the last years.

Rice is not a hardliner, though she is something of a 'yesman". Ashcroft(the Attorney General) was the first to resign.
