A piece I did with colored pencil, pencil, ink and watercolors (for the animated objects)
The girl here is named Falene, a character from my old webcomics. As you can see, I kind of messed up on the watercolor while trying to color her. I didnt think the ink was still wet and it kind of ruined her...

but overall, the picture came out beautifully

7 x 5 dimensions. Customly cut to fit to my liking.
half an inch white boarder on the original

drawn on Bristol Board paper

Signed and dated, and perhaps framed soon.

Seriously have you ever considered doing children's story book illustrations, cause this to me is Grade A top notch work...I wish we had a bowing smilie so I could bow before your greatness!

You really have a reason to be proud of, because this picture is really beautiful.  :^.^:
Just look at the detail of your background and the colors.

Great work. Really really great work.  :yes

Those would make good book illustrations indeed.  I had not thought of that.

There is really a structure in the grass, the bark of the trees and the background. Using less intense colors for the background than for the foreground certainly enhances the impression of deepness rather than a flat surface. Just beautiful Aves!  :yes

Seriously have you ever considered doing children's story book illustrations, cause this to me is Grade A top notch work...I wish we had a bowing smilie so I could bow before your greatness!
Here's a list of things I'd love to get into:

- Children's Literature (art and writing)
- Novels (art and writing)
- Film (storyboard, illustration, set designing, screen writting, and acting.)
- Animation (see above, plus background art and character concepts, and voice acting.)
- Videogames (RPG's, mostly... But other genres are welcomed =)- )
       * background work (for none 3D)
       * Texture work (for 3D)
       * 3D Model crafting (I have 3D skills)
       * Scenery Concept Art
- Graphic Novels (using the same art method as featured in this thread)

the list goes on and on and on =P

So far, I have one production profile that'll soon be posted on the IMDB website. I'm doing illustration work for a Harry Potter spoof film called Harvey Putter. Me and the director are really good friends, so hopefully he'll help me to build my profile on the IMBD.

I have several personal projects going (hense the reason why you hardly see me around much)

the list of current and Future projects (personal):

Fan Stuff:
- Fan fiction - LBT: The Etharas Chrystal (to be illustrated using the method featured here)
- Fan Fiction - LBT: (Currently untitled, but planned out - also will be illustrated)
- Fan Videogame - LBT: The Island of Sleep Stories (RPG Game, which I plan to use my illustration style for the background work)
- Fan Videogame (Tim's MORPG, textures, 3D levels and character 3D mesh work)
- Betrice and Rob Show (the LBT Radio Show Project (my practice on Voice Acting)... I know, it hasnt been updated since Episode 1... But I'm working on it!)
- LBT Fan Webcomic Series (Possibly scrapped)
- Fan Videogame - The Legend of Zelda; (still untitled)
- Fan Videogame - Super Mario Bros (another untitled)
- Fan Videogame - Sonic SatAM Racer (a 3D Kart racing title)
- Fan Videogame - Disembaudio's Adventure (a 2D Platformer, my contribution to the wonders that is Micheal J. Nelson's Rifftrax!)
- Fan Graphic Novel - Mario Brothers (untitled)
- Fan Graphic Novel - The Legend of Zelda (for the fan game)
- Fan Graphic Novel - LBT: The Island of Sleep Stories (based on the RPG)
- Fan Graphic Novel - Sonic the Hedgehog (my version including elements from SatAM and the old School games with a fantasy twist in the art)

Original Stuff:
- Longfeather - five part novel series (to be illustrated to the max of my abilities)
- The Winged Fox Chronicles (Debating whether this should be novel with illustrations or graphic novel series, or both)
     * Children's Novels
     * Postcard Designs
     * Possible Monthly Comic Book series.
- Bell County Comics - Webcomics (been struggling with this series, terribly long pauses between strip updates. - Falene in the picture above is an original character for it.)
     * More illustration art.
     * Graphic novel series
     * Children's novels
     * Post Card Designs
- Harvey Putter Comics (My extra effort to promote the spoof film.. yet another webcomic =P )
- Zen Bass Masters Webcomics (Yep... another Webcomic)
- Videogame - Adventures of Aves the Fox (2D Platformer)
- Videogame - Adventures of Aves the Fox (3D Platformer)
- Videogame - RPG - (untitled)
- Animated Film - A Bell County Christmas
- Animated Film - Last Child of Kernia

Again, the list just keeps going on and on...

And just for the hell of it, here's a picture of me holding the original piece:

That is quite a long list.  I"m sure you'll get into one or a few of them.  Good luck and keep drawing and writing.

You should look to see if there are local organizations or something that could use that artwork, especially those that work with kids.  You'd be a natural.

That is a good idea.  There may be a book or web pages that talk about illustrator's markets or artist's markets as well.
