I had to look at this for a moment but this drawing is about Petrie/Spotter reflecting his new self in the Seven Hunters, I take it?
I had kinda the same general thought, with a character looking at the reflection in the water and I was a tad confused. Looking at it now it seems so obvious.

I don't know anything when it comes to drawing water but you seem to do a great job here. The ripples are drawn well and look believable and I like how the reflection by the Flyer's foot is distorted in a circular fashion. I also just noticed that the edge of the Flyer's wing is actually submerged in the water as well which is a nice touch (at least I think it is).  A minor nitpick I have with the ripples are the ones in the top left corner of the puddle. I feel like they would expand radially from a point source (tip of the claw) rather then a consistent wavefront to the right. Heck, since there are two claws that potentially touch the water you could include the superposition of the two ripples.

That's enough about water and waves. I also really like your shading. I feel like the main problem with me right now is that I'm afraid to go to dark with my shading so it limits what I can work with. Anyways, awesome drawing! :DD
Thank you! I have to agree with you on that I should've done something more interesting with the ripples, the idea you proposed about the interference of waves made by the two claws is truly brilliant. I have tried to create interference patterns in a different part of the puddle, but it didn't turn out as good as I thought it'd be.

This drawing is a nice one and the expression suits Wrok rather well! It shows his arrogance really nicely and the details are good enough. Perhaps there could have been something in the background but the pose is rather cool on its own. Nice job! :)

Thanks! Yes, adding something to the background was something I wanted to do, but shortly after the idea came, I changed my mind.

Very nice!  :)   The stern expression shows his plotting nature and the cold intelligence underneath.  With such a foreboding expression one wonders if the workings of a great leader might reside underneath the ruthlessness, or if the outward appearance is a sign of cold emptiness underneath.  The true motivations and nature of Wrok will indeed be explored as the story proceeds.  The only deviation in this drawing from how I imagine him in the story is that he is feathered in the story, as are the other hidden runners (Troodons).

Go ahead and check out my fanfictions, The Seven Hunters, Songs of the Hunters, and Mender's Tale

I can't imagine that they would be easy to draw. The idea came as I was writing the reply with my mind wondering from water to ripples to waves to physics :lol Glad you liked the idea. It's a lot of work for such a small detail but that's the stuff I love to see  :DD

As for Wrok I love the work put into his eye with so much detail put into his pupil. I don't know anything about the character but the sharper angles around his chin and head give him a rugged and gruff appearance. Like with your other raptor drawings, the shading and detail put into all the scales is impressive as always. Great job!

Poor flyers keep getting picked on. Really cool drawing and I like the expression on the flyer. It really looks like it's desperately calling for help. The one thing I might suggest is to have the claw look like it is putting more pressure onto the flyer and pinning it down. To me it looks like it is just resting on the flyer's back. The shading and details with the scales and such are looking awesome as usual! Great job! :DD

Flyers really are having a hard time. :lol This picture is, once again, really impressive and the flyer's expression truly communicates the agony and pain of the moment, good job with it. I agree with Flathead on the foot and the lack of pressure but I'd also add that the contrast between the foot and the calf is a bit profound. The scales above the claws look truly great but it looks weird how blurred they become the further upward the leg goes. Apart from that issue, this drawing is really awesome again! I really like your style of drawing! :yes

Not an expert but I can't spot anything that looks off to me. You seem to be knowing what you do when it comes to shading (unlike me ;) ) so I can't really judge the quality of that. However, I can tell it looks good to my eye, especially the scales on the predator!

The scales look much better now! :) The lack of pressure in the flier's back is the biggest thing that still catches my eye but it's a much harder detail to fix. In any case, this drawing is much more solid now! :yes

I noticed that you added some shading around the claws to help give a bit of weight to them and it seems like the best one could do without redoing a good portion of it. The shading also looks a lot darker now and the shading improved on the bigger claw? The added work to the upper part of the leg goes a long way as well. It's a good improvement and I can't really come up with anything else as far as feedback is concerned.
